This has been my favorite night mask in turns of comfort and how much light it blocks. The two outer layers do peel apart however and I have to stitch it back together. I own around 4 now between my boyfriend and I, and this peeling problem is pretty consistent.
I recently ordered some more for myself and it’s been leaving a horrible dye stain on my bedding. I’ve tried washing the dye out from both the eye mask and my bedsheets but the staining keeps happening. This is a huge disappointment as this mask always gives me a good nights of sleep! I hope this issue can be fixed in the future.

Comfortable, but the fabric came loose quickly
Comfortable mask, but the construction isn’t great. The fabric covering the cushioned part came loose after 5 months of use, and now it just hangs there instead of staying attached to the padding. For the price, I expected it to hold up much better.

TheraICE sleep mask
This TheraICE sleep mask is excellent quality. It protects my eyes, adjusts easily, and stays securely in place. It’s ideal for bedtime, travel, meditation, and fits comfortably for all users. I love the refreshing cold therapy — it helps reduce puffiness and dark circles, leaving my eyes feeling soothed and rejuvenated.
Thank you!

Trash product
This thing bled purple all over my face and my pillow. Honestly don’t know what kind of poison is in this but I’m not happy about it. Don’t buy it, I tried to pick a product that was safe and missed. Don’t make my mistake.

Improves sleep - My kid's favorite sleep mask now
Got this for my 10 year old daughter that loves frozen sleep masks. It fits her fine and is adjustable. She uses this every night, and this one is her favorite now. This one is nice because it's individually padded around the eyes and is more cushiony than most. It doesn't retain the cold as long as other ones but even not being in the freezer it feels cool.
Tip - Get a little case to keep it in if you put it in the freezer. Keeps it from getting gross in there

Total blackout, cooling, sleep mask
This mask does everything right! From the smooth, soft material to the comfortable raised gel eye pillows, to the adjustable head strap that ensures no light seeps in. I really appreciate the zip lock bags that protect the mask from both punctures and freezer odors. The mask stays cool for a long time and while it covers your eyes, the raised pillows don’t touch them, so the cooling is around your eyes and on your forehead. I don’t suffer from migraines but if you do you need this mask. Highly recommend.

ITEM IS POOR QUALITY
I bought this item about one week ago. After the third use, it exploded in the middle of the night!! Not only did it explode, but it was also warm and didn't have a good cooling effect after an hour of wear. I want a refund, but have not been issued one yet.
UPDATE: The company issued a refund! Thank you for that - upgraded to 2 stars. =) However, I still would not buy this product again.

Amazing eyemask!
If you've never tried a 3D eye mask I highly recommend it! It fits perfectly to block all sunlight and not put any pressure on your eyes. This gives you wonderful sleep especially if camping or you have a room where you cannot block direct sunlight. This particular eye mask is even more amazing because you can also put it in the freezer for when you have headaches and you need that coldness on your face. Even if you don't put it in the freezer you can use it like a normal everyday eye mask. The softness around the edge makes it very comfortable and the shape is perfect. This will really work for anybody who needs an eye mask to use and the strap is adjustable for any size head. I would highly recommend this!

Love this mask, Super Comfortable
I originally wanted just a sleep mask, as I work nights, and the daylight can disrupt my sleep. When I saw this, I thought it could help with that and so much more. I wasn't wrong...
First off, it will block the light completely, one checked off. Second, you can freeze it, but being a gel it won't solidify, so no rock hard piece of ice on your face, dripping and all that, two checked off... Third, you can heat the gel too! So I've been able to be cooled while I work my way to sleep if needed, or heated.
Adjustable strap is great, no large buckle to lay on, and comfort is A1...
I am completely satisfied that I decided to get this instead of the basic sleeping mask. I wholly recommend you get one for yourself...

Very comforting
I am extremely happy with this TheralICE sleep mask. It combines the soothing cold or warm sensations of a gel ice pack and the blackout capabilities of my favorite type of eye mask. My favorite eye masks have a depression on the side that touches your eyes, so you do not have any pressure on your eyelids or eyelashes. This makes the mask super comfortable to wear while you enjoy the heat or cold feature. The fact that this eye sleep mask can be heated or cooled makes it a very good value. It is well constructed out of durable, quality materials. It comes in a very handy zip pouch for storage, as well as an additional clear zip pouch for protection. It is adjustable with no Velcro used. I am very happy about this because sometimes Velcro gets caught in my baby fine hair.
This mask blocks out all of the light due to its clever design with the padding around the edges.
I highly recommend this quality eye mask for eye discomfort relief.

Very relaxing
I have other ice masks, they’re very effective for tired, irritated eyes. I really like them and expected this eye mask to be fairly similar. The TheraICE Sleep Mask is totally different from any ice mask I’ve ever used before though, I love it.
Many eye masks rest on your eyes, some are even weighted. This mask has a 3D contour “frame” that extends from the middle of your forehead, down your temples, and across your cheek bone. This design creates pockets around your eyes, the mask doesn’t touch the eyes. The pockets are deep enough that eyes can open and close freely without ever coming into contact with the mask. The 3D frame is composed of a gel that can either be used hot or cold. I only tried it as a cold mask, so I can’t comment on the hot feature. This mask is absolutely delightful as a cold mask. An interesting effect is created by the cold gel surrounding the cavities over your eyes. That empty space becomes like a refrigerated pocket caressing your eyes with soothing chilled air. I found this to be absolutely wonderful. Since this mask didn’t touch my eyes my vision didn’t get blurry as it does with some other masks. The adjustable strap holds the mask firmly in place making it useful as a blackout mask as well .
The gel is nice and soft, this mask felt good against my skin and it wasn’t uncomfortable if I rolled over to my side placing the weight of my face against it. It appears to be well made. The gel layer is rather thick and maintains the cold much longer than others I’ve used (certainly longer than those with a bead type filler). I really like this mask a lot.
As I stated before, I only used this mask as a cold mask. I placed it in the freezer the moment it arrived. It’s perfect for my needs, but I can’t say it will perform as well as a hot mask. I have concerns over how the gel will heat- will it heat evenly, or will there be spots that get much hotter? I have no complaints with this product as a cold mask. The only issue I have with it at all are the instructions. Instead of providing an easy to read instruction sheet, the instructions are printed on the outside of a plastic storage bag in a light blue text. I found them almost impossible to read. While there’s not much risk chilling this and using it as an ice mask, there are important instructions regarding heating that need to be read before use. You’re told to microwave it for 10 seconds, then in 5 second increments should it need more time. This is most likely to keep the gel from overheating, this is important information that needs to be clearly visible. I took a picture of the bag (which I’m including) and found it much easier to read on a phone, tablet or PC. I strongly suggest using caution if microwaving this mask.
****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I've posted will be from items I've had direct contact with. These are my honest opinions. I will not post a review for a product I have not had personal contact with.

Gel is nice, but doesn’t block all light
This is a nice change from standard eye masks because the perimeter is packed with squishy gel, which you can either microwave for heat or put in the fridge for cold. The instructions are virtually unreadable because they are printed in pale blue on a translucent background, but I put a white card behind it and tried to get a clear photo. It doesn’t say anything about how to cool it (it seems pretty intuitive just to throw it in the fridge), but it says you can microwave it for 10 seconds and then in 5-second intervals. Personally, I have never had success with microwave gel masks — they either don’t get warm enough, don’t stay warm long enough, or leak — so I’ll stick with the fridge method.
The material and workmanship of this mask is average and the gel feels great against your face. My only complaint is that it does not block out 100% of the light for me. No matter how I tried to position it on my face, it does not conform well to the bridge of my (normal-sized) nose, so a fair amount of light leaks in at the bottom. I can hold the bottom on both sides of my nose to block the light, but that’s not an idea solution. Of course, in a dim or dark room, this would presumably not be an issue.
The product isn’t a perfect fit, but it basically performs as promised and seems like a reasonable value ($25.95 at time of order). If you like the idea of warm/cool gel, you will probably enjoy this mask, but if you are looking for a mask which blocks 100% of outside light, you might be disappointed.
