So far it has been durable and had no issues. I believe thr bad reviews are from people who over volted or got a bit too close to the wattage limit which can also be dangerous.

The Thermaltake SMART 600W is an excellent power supply that delivers steady, clean power with no issues at all. Installation was straightforward, and all the cables were the right length for a clean, organized build.
It runs quiet and cool, even under load, and the 80 Plus certification gives peace of mind knowing it’s efficient and dependable. I’ve been running my system daily with no hiccups — rock-solid performance all around.
If you’re looking for a reliable, budget-friendly PSU that doesn’t cut corners, this one is a great choice. Highly recommend it!

Ive had mine sitting in storage for about 8-9 months completely dry and safe and installed it 2 weeks ago. Today it cooked itself shutting down my comp and could feel the heat radiating off of it easily. Voided my warranty but found out that 1/3 of the main exhaust fan on mine was shrouded with some sort of plastic box. Never seen anything like that before but it definitely had something to do with it overheating.

It works great, 600w is more than enough for what I’m using it for. It provides a stable stream of power to all the necessary components without any issues. The cables are definitely long enough to reach any components without needing extensions. It’s been running strong so far with zero issues, I’d recommend this PSU for solid performance at a reasonable price!

misleading images. there is only one cpu plug when it clearly looks like there is 2 cpu plugs. dual socketed cpus will not work with this. pcie dose actually have two.

I built a new gaming PC for my son for Christmas.
I used an entry level Intel Arc A750 as a GPU, it recommends 550 watts for a power supply. But, every time he booted up Overwatch, Minecraft, or Fortnight the computer would crash within minutes.
I swapped to a different brand 600 watt power supply and we haven’t had any more issues.
The Thermaltake PSU was producing considerably less power than advertised wattage.
I’m usually a fan of Thermaltake but I was severely disappointed with this PSU.
Avoid it. It won’t power your card.

Is a open box
But seems practically new
I need other parts to finish my build
I hope it works as should be

The 12 Volt power rail only has 11 volts and the PC will not turn all. All 4 power supplies I bought have the same problem. Also the PSU fan does not always work and I'm sure these psu fans are supposed to stay on all the time.
I have used 100's of Thermaltake PSU's and this is the first time having a problem. I'm not sure what's going on but I hope it gets fixed ASAP.
Other budget brand PSU's are total trash and spending more than $40 on a budget build PSU just doesn't fit the budget.
Please fix the problem quick and recall the total batch.

Was surprised at this price to see all black cables, operation is near silent and for my build it’s just right. Things to take note of was there are only 2 6+2 gpu cables, and 1-8pin cpu, meaning this is meant for basic motherboards not higher end Z boards, my Z97 board is old and only has 1-8pin slot, but in my nice pc my Z690 board has 2-8pin slots so this psu wouldn’t accommodate overclocking for new boards. Cables were a bit stiff, and felt kinda cheap, but the psu is cheap, this is how they do it without sacrificing internal quality.

The product in fact only has 4. This is a huge disappointment because I had bought this power supply for a motherboard that has exactly six SATA ports.
-3 stars for false advertising. It’s a shame because I would otherwise give this 5 stars because of the incredible build quality at this price point.

First thing I noticed when I opened it was that it looked like a previous return or open box product, the psu was in the box not wrapped in it bubble bag and cords weren’t tied (the bubble bag and twist tie were both laying in the box under the power supply. At first I thought “oh well” and installed it anyway, it worked at first but after 30 minutes the psu was fried. Lesson learned, order something that’s 80+gold rated

Es muy silenciosa, aparte de que la puedes instalar muy facil.

Easy to install. Quiet. This was my first step to making a gaming computer. After installing the power supply, I installed a gaming Video card. Thank you Thermaltake for for providing a fine product. Fits perfect in my optiplex 9020

Great power supply, nicely packed and have couple extra zip ties for great cable management.

I upgraded my PC... New motherboard (Asrock B550) with a Ryzen 5 3600, 32gb Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO ram, a GTX 1070sc, and some RGB fans/lighting. Added this PSU and it powers my build well... Also it's awesome that it has a 5 year warranty. I've been using it for 6 months now with no issues.

Not that quiet is the most important feature (as they are all pretty quiet these days) but the "quality" unit it replaced started sounding like a leaf blower after only a few years in operation. Hope it lasts - so far I LIKE IT ! Great price.

The PSU is very quiet, and fairly easy to install, but the SATA power connectors are all straight connections which caused me to have to install my SSD upside down (no big deal) so I could close my case without having a bulge in my panel. It would have been much easier if the SATA connectors were the 90 degree like I had on the old PSU, I still may swap the connectors out. Had to order a new one since this the one I ordered in December of 2022 stopped working, the one I got to replace sure doesn't look the same even the part numbers are different. The new one lacks the one of the ATX connectors harnesses which used to be 3 on each for a total of 6 and now there is just one with only 4 connectors which is not good for my 5 drives because they are poorly spaced. And the harnesses are different as well. I already requested a refund and got the label on the return box. this one is no good for me.

For the price is excellent, was all that i expected, good materials and good working of the pcu and for the price i think that is the best in the category.

Excelente fuente de poder, la verdad me ha gustado, sus 600 watss +80 garantizan eficiencia a largo plazo.

Nothing much more to say, keeps my system running. Has more then enough plugs for my system. Runs at a fine temperature and holds up to 79% gaming benchmark score.

It’s day one, and I have apparently avoided the dreaded DOA crowd. So far it works as advertised, came quickly and is not dead. No smoke so far and hopefully it won’t fry my ryzen rig.
