The video quality on this camera is excellent. The 4K image is sharp and clear, and the AI auto tracking works surprisingly well for presentations, meetings, and live streaming. The PTZ controls are smooth and the optical zoom is a nice addition.
Setup was straightforward and it worked with the conferencing software I tested without any issues. The only downside is that the controller software is a little weird and takes some time to get used to.
Overall, the camera itself is high quality and performs very well. If you can get past the software learning curve, it's a great value for the features it offers.

This high definition camera features a powerful three times optical zoom and a wide ninety two degree view to capture clear and detailed video in any setting. It is equipped with advanced AI auto tracking technology that follows a subject as they move across the room ensuring they stay in focus during meetings or live streams. The camera can be controlled remotely and is compatible with various conferencing platforms making it an ideal tool for professional or educational use.
I decided to donate this camera to the school to help them with their digital meetings and conferences. I wanted to give them something nice to use during important sessions like IEP meetings so that everyone involved can have a clear and professional connection. It feels good to give back to the educators who do so much for our children and I know this high quality tech will be a great asset for their communications.
The main pro is the incredible video quality and the smooth auto tracking which makes it feel like there is a professional camera operator in the room. The optical zoom is very sharp and the setup is straightforward enough for most staff members to use without a lot of technical training. One minor con is that the remote control has a lot of buttons so it might take a few tries to master all the different movement settings. Overall this is a top tier piece of equipment that provides a significant upgrade for any meeting space.p
Customer Review
For use with video calls, the camera was easy to set up via USB or HDMI. It was immediately recognized without requiring me to install any drivers. With a very wide FOV, I can see everything in my entire workspace at once. The AI tracking feature keeps me centered in the frame while I'm presenting, so I don't have to do anything manually to keep in the frame. And the optical zoom works pretty reliably. Not as smooth as the high-end cameras, but excellent at this price point.
That is the one "drawback" to the camera, and that is that the remote panning and tilting feels a bit slow and sluggish to respond.
The 4K output over HDMI produces very sharp images on larger screens; however, I typically will use USB to connect to the webcam when I am making Zoom calls because it works just fine. The tracking feature works better if the lighting is good and the subject is clearly visible within the camera's view; therefore. If not, the AI tracking can be slow to lock on in dim lighting. Overall, as long as the camera has been set up properly, it does everything it is supposed to do!

This review is for the "4K Conference Room Camera System, AI Auto-Tracking 4K PTZ Camera 3x Optical Zoom 92° Wide-Angle and Bluetooth Speakerphone 16.4FT Voice Pickup for Conferencing Worship Church Education Medical."
The Tongveo TV-EZ3H-4K PTZ camera is an entry-level budget solution when you aren't prepared to spend twice as much for a higher end Tongveo PTZ. It's pretty small compared to the other cameras from this manufacturer and uses much less power overall.
It has an HDMI and USB port for video out. Its strongest points, imo, are the wide room coverage, 3x optical zoom, AI tracking/framing, quiet PTZ movement (and I mean quiet), remote presets, and simple HDMI/USB integration for meetings, church streaming, teaching, and OBS-style capture. All that is on the listing. The USB output is useful and stable for 1080p resolution, but HDMI is the correct path for true 4K quality. The 4K (3840x2160 @ 30 fps) HDMI output is great for switchers, capture cards, and higher-quality production workflows.
The 1080p USB plug-and-play UVC output is usable for Zoom, Teams, Skype, Wire, OBS, YouTube/Facebook workflows. Direct testing confirmed 1080p30 MJPEG maximum over USB.
The 3x optical zoom is useful for moving from a wide room view to a tighter speaker or podium view without relying on digital zoom. Mechanical zoom beats digital zoom in my opinion for most cameras due to clarity. The lens has a 93-degree wide view. The OEM specs list wide-angle coverage in the low-90-degree class, so that seems to match what I experienced.
The AI auto-tracking and auto-framing/presenter tracking style operation is best for one main presenter, imo and not
intended for fast motion at all. It's slow but works well for those of us who like to pace a bit back and forth.
PTZ movement has a nearly 350-degree horizontal pan and 180-degree vertical travel. As I mentioned- smooth operation and has a pretty alert response from the remote. It's useful for room coverage and preset shots.
Although it doesn't have PoE ethernet communication, I can set up the camera to be controlled by a switcher/ptz controller via RS232/RS485 serial. Just two wires for the RS485, and I'm good to go.
I ran some tests on the USB output using ffmjpeg and ffprobe. Here is what I learned:
USB MPEG out set at 1920x1080@30 fps was confirmed. MJPEG Baseline, yuvj420p (4.2.0), about 64 Mb/s.
USB YUY2 out set at 1280x720@ 30 fps confirmed; raw YUY2/yuyv422 (4.2.2), about 443 Mb/s.
Color retention at 1080p MJPEG is 8-bit 4:2:0 full-range; 720p YUY2 is 8-bit 4:2:2 but lower resolution.
4K over USB was not reported to ffmjpeg by the camera as expected. The current listing properly separates USB 1080p from HDMI 4K. It's buried in the listing, but it's there.
In short, this is a useful small-room PTZ camera with HDMI for 4K, and USB for simple 1080p computer capture. The optical zoom, wide room coverage, AI tracking, presets, and HDMI/USB flexibility make it practical for meetings, worship streaming, online teaching, and basic production.
It's important to note that I would use HDMI when image quality matters most, and USB when convenience matters most, as in capture for general conferencing or streaming from a laptop online. The best image you'll get from this camera is if you connect a capture card to the 4k HDMI out.
On the Bluetooth conferencing audio device, Model TV-M2B. The included TV-M2B speakerphone has some useful connection options, including USB, Bluetooth, AUX, and wireless support. The listing claims a 360-degree pickup and a 5-meter microphone range. In my testing, the practical voice quality distance was about 3 to 5 feet in all directions- basically in the middle of a moderate conference table. When I tested it more than 5 feet away, the listeners reported it sounded distant as expected- as if the speaker was across the room a bit. For close-table use, it's quite acceptable, but I would not rely on it as a true large-room conference microphone despite the advertised pickup range. Those specialized speakerphones cost three times more than the entire camera/speakerphone combo. In my opinion, it works fine as a medium to small conference room speakerphone. In defense of this speakerphone, the sound quality of the speaker itself is actually impressive and the mics at nominal range reported back as excellent.
It's quite worthy of recommendation, imho, based on price, quality, and performance for the asking price. It's a great budget solution.

The camera arrived with all necessary components: the 4K PTZ unit itself, a DC 12 volt 2 amp power adapter, a 9.8 foot USB 3.0 cable, an IR remote control, a wall mount bracket with screws, and a printed manual. I found nothing essential was missing.
I mounted the camera using the included wall bracket. Setup was quick. Plug in power, connect HDMI to our streaming switcher for local 4K display, and run USB 3.0 to my laptop. The camera powers on instantly with no boot delay, and I immediately see a solid blue indicator light confirming operation. On the base’s bottom I see FCC and CE certification stickers.
I get 4K at 30 frames per second video via HDMI, and 1080p via USB for conferencing platforms. The wide angle lens captures without noticeable distortion, and the 3X optical zoom brings anything into sharp focus .
The AI auto-tracking works reliably for single presenter scenarios. I enable tracking mode via the remote, and the camera locks onto a speaker within seconds, following movement across the stage without jerky pans. It occasionally loses lock during rapid direction changes, but reacquires within two to three seconds.
I discovered USB output maxes at 1080p whereas the HDMI delivers full 4K. In a dimly lit room, I adjusted brightness and sharpness via the OSD menu for better detail retention. The ability to save 9 presets via remote, or up to 255 via RS232 and RS485. It works flawlessly with OBS Studio on Debian 13.
The build quality feels sturdy. The housing is rigid plastic with smooth PTZ mechanics that don't wobble after stopping. The included remote has an intuitive button layout.

I've used PTZ systems in the past and this one is I'd say mid-tier. Which is great for most smbs or even a home office. The camera is compatible with most PTZ apps out there at least the ones I've tried. Drivers just automatically are recognized on Windows machines. The conference speaker is pretty nice for a smaller size conference room. Anything bigger than that you start getting Echo with it. Using it in a home office is great, it's a lot better than the built-in mic on most General Logitech webcams. Using this plus your webcam plus the conference room speaker that comes with it in a home office where applicable will really step up your game. I like to use this pointed at a whiteboard at home so that I can jump over to that camera and we can whiteboard out a solution with my team on an actual whiteboard, like we used to before the pandemic. Either way it's good value for dollars here, as long as your expectations are in line with the bundle you purchased.

I tested this PTZ camera as a video production tool rather than just a plug-and-play webcam, and it has several features that make it useful for streaming, presentations, conference rooms, and controlled studio setups.
At startup, the camera performs an automatic gimbal calibration sequence. It pans, tilts, and checks its motion range before locking into a ready position. On PTZ hardware, clean initialization matters because accurate presets, smooth tracking, and repeatable camera moves depend on proper calibration.
One of the stronger features is the built-in AI auto tracking. The camera detects the subject and places a green tracking frame on screen, then continuously adjusts pan and tilt to keep the subject centered. In real use, tracking was smooth while walking side to side. For solo creators, trainers, teachers, presenters, or worship streaming, this reduces the need for a second operator. Instead of staying locked to one spot, you can move naturally while remaining in frame.
For zoom testing, I disabled tracking and used the included remote for manual PTZ control. This unit uses optical zoom, meaning magnification is handled by physical lens movement rather than simple digital crop enlargement. That is a major difference. Optical zoom preserves more detail and clarity, while digital zoom usually reduces sharpness as the image is enlarged. You can visibly see the lens element moving during zoom commands, confirming it is using a true motorized optical lens system.
Connectivity is one of the more technical strengths of this camera. Available ports include:
* 4K HDMI output for direct connection to monitors, switchers, or capture cards
* USB output for computer connection and streaming workflows
* RS232 input/output for serial camera control integration
* RS485 control for longer-distance or professional control environments
These interfaces matter in real installations. RS232 and RS485 are common in AV control systems, PTZ joystick controllers, automation racks, conference rooms, lecture halls, and multi-camera production spaces where centralized control is required.
One important limitation: there is no built-in microphone. Many dedicated PTZ cameras prioritize video transport and control rather than onboard audio. In practice, this is easy to solve by adding a USB microphone, wireless mic receiver, mixer, or audio interface through the host computer or streaming setup.
Build quality feels solid. Pan and tilt motion is smooth, tracking responds quickly, and image quality looks sharp. If you need a camera with real PTZ mechanics, optical zoom, AI tracking, and professional control ports instead of basic webcam features, this is a capable option.
