Great Setup for Our Meeting Room

We got this for our meeting room, and it has made video calls much easier. The picture is sharp, and the wide-angle view fits everyone around the table without having to move the camera around. I especially like the auto-tracking because it follows whoever is speaking pretty smoothly. The speakerphone also picks up voices clearly from different spots in the room. Setup wasn’t complicated, and overall it feels like a nice upgrade from our old webcam and speaker setup.

Excellent Conference Camera System and Very Easy to Use

This is a very capable conference room camera system. Setup was surprisingly easy. I connected everything, and it worked without having to spend a lot of time configuring software or troubleshooting connections.

The camera produces a very clear picture, and the PTZ functionality makes it much more useful in a conference room than a conventional webcam. The wide field of view works well for capturing multiple people, while the zoom gives you flexibility when you need a closer view. The AI tracking is also a useful feature and adds a more professional feel to meetings.

The separate speakerphone works well and makes the system much more complete. Audio is clear, and having multiple connection options makes it easy to use with different setups.

Overall, it works great, is easy to set up, and is equally easy to operate. It provides a substantial upgrade over a standard webcam and speaker setup for a conference room.

Excellent Zoom, AI Tracking, and Surprisingly Good Audio

I’ve been very impressed with this conference camera system so far. The standout feature for me is the zoom capability. Even at maximum zoom, the image remains remarkably clear and usable, which is something many conference cameras struggle with.

The AI tracking feature also works very well. It does a good job following the active speaker and makes meetings feel much more professional without requiring someone to manually adjust the camera. I can see this being useful both in a conference room environment and for home office setups where you move around during presentations.

Setup was straightforward and quick. I had everything connected and working pretty quickly, and there are many configuration options.

The microphone performance was another pleasant surprise. It picks up voices clearly even in a fairly large room, making it suitable for larger meetings without requiring participants to crowd around the device. The bluetooth via USB dongle is very convenient.

I also appreciate the ability to save camera presets. Being able to quickly switch between different views or seating arrangements is a huge convenience and saves time during meetings.

4K PTZ conference camera with Bluetooth speakerphone, networking and AI tracking

It works flawlessly for conference calls. I don’t use Zoom or teams but Jitsi, a free cross-platform open-source conferencing software. The conference camera just works and I have no issues using it with Linux. On the bottom of the camera I see it supports four compression formats: H.264, H.265, MJPG and YuY2. And I see it works with Windows, MacOS, Android and Linux as long as it supports UVC. The package includes the PTZ camera itself, a Bluetooth speakerphone, a remote control, USB 3.0 and HDMI cables, a wall mount bracket, and a wireless dongle.

The camera delivers 4K video. I also checked the resolution via my PC’s settings and it’s indeed capable of 4K recording. According to the specs, it uses a Sony CMOS sensor with 20x optical zoom. I can frame a single person or pull back to include four people with high clarity. The pan and tilt movement is smooth and quiet. I can control it either through the included IR remote or directly from my computer interface during a call.

I can also stream over LAN. The camera has an Ethernet port. The default IP is listed on the bottom. I could quickly link it to my joystick controller.

The AI powered tracking works. In Presenter Mode, it follows me as I move around the room, and in Group Framing Mode, it automatically adjusts to keep everyone centered, with no manual repositioning. The wide angle lens captures nearly the entire room, and the image stays sharp even at the edges.

The companion Bluetooth speakerphone has 360 degree pickup with noise reduction. The mic is clear enough several speakers can use it without individual mics. The speaker output is loud and clean, and it connects via Bluetooth or USB-C. And it has physical buttons for volume and mute.

The camera is plug and play. I connected the camera via USB to my laptop, paired the speaker over Bluetooth, and both were recognized instantly. I haven’t hooked it up via HDMI as I don’t need this kind of setup.

According to the specs, it supports RS232 and RS485 for integration into larger AV systems, though I don’t need that either. The build feels solid, the controls are responsive, and the whole system fits on a bookshelf or mounts to a wall.

The conference camera and its speaker and mic combo are much better than the built-in webcam and mic of my laptop.

Perfect 4K quality, smooth controls, and incredible 20x zoom for company meetings!

We purchased this TONGVEO PTZ camera system for our company's group Zoom meetings, and it has completely upgraded our conference room. The 4K video quality is absolutely perfect, crisp, professional, and the colors are incredibly sharp and clear.Setup is very simple m.

What impressed me the most is the lens performance and motorized movement. The zoom goes up to 20x and works flawlessly, maintaining great clarity even when zoomed all the way in. Furthermore, tilting the camera up and down is incredibly smooth without any jerky or distracting motions. The included remote control works great and makes it very easy to adjust the view on the fly.

To top it off, the included Bluetooth speaker and microphone system is fantastic. The mic picks up everyone's voice clearly around our conference table, and the speaker output is loud and crisp, so we never struggle to hear the other end of our calls. It is a complete, top-tier system that is highly recommended for any business! Great product!

I've been using this 4K webcam for video calls, and it captures a wide view that includes more than just my face when I need to show other items in the room. The picture remains sharp and stable even when I move around. The webcam has proven reliable for daily use.

Great All-in-One Concept with a Couple of Caveats

I wanted to simplify my home office setup, and this all-in-one camera seemed like the perfect solution. The 4K video quality is excellent—very sharp and clear. The convenience of having the camera, dual microphones, and a speaker in one single USB device is fantastic. It was truly plug-and-play.

The AI auto-framing feature also works quite well, keeping me centered in the shot. However, there are two main drawbacks for my setup. First, the speaker is on the quiet side. I wish it had a higher maximum volume. Second, the 116° field of view is extremely wide and auto framing didn't adjust automatically each time. For a single person in a home office, it captures way too much of the background. This camera would be absolutely perfect in a large conference room with several people at a table, but for a single user, the angle is a bit too wide.

Overall, it's a quality device, but best suited for a larger space than a typical home office.

Decent with some room for improvement.

Overall, I guess this is pretty good if your primary use is to capture wide video in an office setting, but for any other use besides that, you might find it a bit lacking.

The Good:

• Webcam has a large resolution and can captures a very large area to display at once.

• Microphone picks up sound pretty well at different angles.

• AI Auto Framing works well. There's an AI button on the back, but it would trigger automatically so I couldn't even figure out what this button actually does when pressed.

• Good cable length and flexible connection options with included adapter.

• Can be mounted to a tripod, or clipped to a monitor for added flexibility.

The Bad:

• Took a few tries before it got recognized on my Windows 11 Pro machine. I had to unplug and replug it in several times before it recognized and installed the right drivers for use.

• Image quality is satisfactory, but it's definitely not super clear or sharp. Was definitely hoping for a lot better quality given the overall size of it.

• Speaker leaves a lot to be desired. Despite the large size and what I'd imagine is plenty of room to fit a second speaker within the housing; they only outfit this with a single mono speaker positioned at the left side of the unit. While it sounds okay for basic meeting use; the mono speaker is terrible for anything else such as listening to music, watching a presentation, or watching a movie; so use it only if you're desperate.

• No privacy or lens cover for when it's not in use.

Really good Webcam

I haven't heard of this brand before, so I was pleasantly surprised when I experienced the quality of the webcam and the speakers on it. This will be a great replacement for my Logitech. The footprint on this camera is much bigger which can be a turn off for some people especially if you have monitors mounted on top of each other, but in my case in the super ultra wide display it's perfect for what I need.

High-Definition Webcam

This high-definition webcam is large and delivers okay video quality provided you’re not using it with a virtual background in which case it has trouble keeping you in focus and you go in and out of the video. The audio is decent, but its ultimate performance will depend on the program you're using it with and your internet speed. It does not have a privacy cover.

The extra-long cable provides plenty of reach, connecting from a USB-C port on the webcam to a USB-A port on your computer. An included USB-A to USB-C adapter gives you more flexibility, though its wide design might block nearby ports. For easy setup, you can either mount it or clip it to your display.

Good product. Has lagging issues.

I love the fact that this webcam is wireless. I can move it anywhere in the room and the wireless transmitter can also move from our stationary desktop or a guest presenter’s laptop. The wireless speaker is also excellent. It can pick up speaker’s audio anywhere in our 1600 sqft training facility.

One down side I have started experiencing since last week is the lag time for transmitting video. This was not a problem when we first setup and started using it. We did not change any settings. Will contact manufacturer for support and see if the lagging issues can be resolved. The lagging issue is very noticeable. It’s 2-3 seconds behind the actual scene.

Great Camera for Live Streaming

We bought this to live stream our cornhole events. The setup, operation, zoom and focus of this camera are all amazing. We used the provided USB dongle and at a distance of 20ft worked perfect. You can also hardwire the camera. I had a few questions for the Tongveo customer service team prior to purchase and they were prompt, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this camera

We use this to stream our church services and it works wonderfully! It videos from 40 feet away and up to 60 feet away. We love the clarity and flexibility it offers us. We highly recommend this camera especially because it is wireless. it has greatly enhanced our churches ability to broadcast our online services.

This system though slightly difficult to get connected. Once it’s together works seemlessly. The video quality is pretty good and the focus is comprehensive. I’ve only gotten to utilize it once but I look forward to unlocking all it’s features.

Excellent combo - High quality

This set can capture a table of people and the microphone picks up clear. The video clarity with florescent light was not distorted. It also picks up well with lower light so the camera is great! The size is also impressive and professional looking so I was asked about it many times. It felt good.

There was not any difficulty connecting it to the laptop and I ran projection like normal. It just looked great and I can't wait to use it for other video projects.

Not very intuitive at all but nice camera

I was excited to try this TONGVEO wireless conference room camera system because we just renovated our offices and have (for the first time) an actual conference / meeting room. I have some remote employees so thought it would be great to be able to have a Zoom/Hangout meeting with everyone together virtually.

The hardware - the actual camera and bluetooth microphone - seem very well made. They came with cables, dongles, and a remote control. The only "manual" included was a sort of "quick start" sheet which was hard to read and utterly useless. As a pretty tech-savvy guy and our defacto IT person, I was able to figure it out but still don't know all of the features or how to use them.

I connected the camera to a mini PC and that to our conference room TV. I paired the speaker via bluetooth. I was impressed with the speaker's audio quality - it's very loud and clear and I was told the mic sounded good on the other end as well.

The camera's picture seems pretty good to me but we have 3 tall windows in our conference room so there is plenty of natural light.

Overall, this is a decent conference room camera setup, but I do wish it had much better documentation. If you need a "plug and play" system you might want to pass on this one.

Great camera for video conferencing

We bought this PTZ camera for the upcoming return to the office. I have used it for a week at home so far and am really happy about the purchase.

It’s super easy to set up, all I need to do is just plugging the USB cable, and it’s already compatible with Zoom so no hassle during the setup process at all. Also with the 20x optical zoom and 1080p resolution, it provides a really high video quality in rich colors even when you zoom in. I especially like how it can still perform very well in low light situations. It has the auto focus feature, but also allows you to do manual focus, change the focus to far/near etc. using its remote, a must-have feature when I move around during a meeting to demo something on my whiteboard. Another big plus for me is how smooth and quiet the camera tilts.

Overall I’m really satisfied with the camera, definitely worth the money!

Doesn't work with Mac yet

Love this camera but it turns everything red. They do not have a Mac interface as of December 2021
