Needs improvement

Finish was damaged due to poor packaging by the manufacturer, finish was chipping/pealing due to poor manufacturing, holes arent spaced to be able to properly put into studs, The screw driver holder piece has to be pre mounted and cant be moved without taking the racks off the wall so i didnt even bother putting it on & on top of that it was missing mounting hardware. Had to source my own hardware. Its so close to being a really good product but falls short

Instructions are not great, here is how i tackled this job.

As described. The only things I can say is the instructions are essentially garbage. I will list how I did it and hopefully it helps you. I am also not the most handy type of person, so It is easy enough.

1. determine the bottom height & position of your pegboard set up by using the rail. (Do your best to align the holes to your studs if you are not screwing into concrete or cinderblock.)

a. If you are making use of the paper towel holder/shelf, make sure it is not too low if you are over a table like me. I personally decided on 18" from top of table to top of rail bar.

b. Mark your 2 ends, I used my 6' level as a straight edge to lightly run the line.

c. Screw in your two 24" rails. Use 4 screws. If you have drywall & if your set up does not align with your studs, you will need to buy additional anchors as the ones provided are not the best for sheetrock.

2. Now the bottom rail is up, you can now take one of the peg boards, sit it on top of the rail, align it with the outside edge of the rail & mark your screw points. I installed these 1 at a time.

a. With 1 hand holding the pegboard in place, I used a drill bit to mark the 4 screw points. Remove the pegboard and add your anchors if necessary or just screw directly into the stud. (make sure you are aligned, the bottom of the pegboard sits on top of the rail which should already be level.

b. Repeat same steps to all pegboards.

3. Now with the remaining rails (2 of them), install them by sliding them on top of the pegboard and screw them into the wall.

I was a little wordy, but I hope it helps. Essentially, work your way up, if the bottom rail is correct height, aligned to studs (if possible or have correct drywall anchors) and is level, the rest should just fall into place with ease.

Quality is good for the price, colors are exactly as described, and it seems mostly well made. Plenty of hooks, shelves etc. The only things I do not like are the metal hooks, they do not lock in and can easily move.

Best thing next to my tool box

Strong and a great addition to a small garage and handyman and light weight mechanic

Worth the price!

Extremely happy and the price not to bad easy to put up I wish it came with more hardware to hang stuff I ordered some different ones to hang my t-handle wrenches.

Worked great for my shed tool organizing.

Wife was complaining that I had multiples of the same tools…because it was easier to buy another than to look for it. Nice heavy duty metal peg board.

Some of the holes require proprietary hangers but if you have what I would call the standard peg hangers you can work around those slotted holes. They do include some of those proprietary hangers but for a garden shed I haven’t found a use for them.

I did appreciate the tracks that are above and below the peg board for the shelves. Overall it was easy to install by myself by clamping a long level to the wall framing to make sure it was installed level.

Poor quality, look elsewhere.

Quality of the product is poor and measurements are off. Wish I had bought something else. Instead of a flat shelf at top the casting the poor enough that even though everything is level, the shelves are significantly different heights, also the metal came scratched up and are not appropriate widths for 16" on center install. Also didn't notice until I got it that most the accessories are junk plastic.

Way overpriced and poor quality, sad that time and resources are wasted to make this and that I installed it :(

Disappointed, but will still use

I bought this to organize my craft implements. Overall, it's what I wanted. I will not be using several included accessories.

That being said, installation was a bit challenging. The pegboard screw holes are on the very edge of each panel. My husband had to drill holes about a half an inch in so that the anchors would not be on top of each other. I had a lot of trouble putting together the cleaning station shelf and had one of the anchor nuts break.

One of the panels of pegboard was also scratched and one of the hanging apparatus was bent.

It will serve its purpose and because we had already put holes in the wall. We just continued with installation.

I don't think I'd recommend this item to a friend.

Easy to Install, Looks Great, But…..

Overall and happy with this, great look, good design, perfect size for what I needed however, any tool-head is going to realize immediately that this isn’t worth over $100. Right off the bat, I opened up the box and was missing a couple attachments and one of the orange trays arrived broken and was unusable. The design and shelves, are nice. The metal pegboard is rigid and a good design for mounting on 16”-on-center wall studs however, the components and attachments are cheap plastic except for the hooks, and one of the screwdriver hangars. The description might mention that but I plan to replace a few of them in the long run with something better hence why I don’t have them installed in the pic. Be mindful that the pegboard is oriented correctly before mounting. Could easily install one upside down if not paying attention. I think I received a fluke order as the second one was just fine. Instructions are simple however they don’t say to drill pilot holes for the mounting hardware so if you want to know I used a 5/64 drill bit for those and worked great. There’s plenty of included hardware. Overall look is nice and clean. Would buy again but I’d be hesitant since it’s well over 100 bucks. Good system but because of the price point gets you all the plastic not metal attachments, 4 stars. Cheers.

Nice and strong

Since my wall is solid concrete, I decided to put a piece of plywood up, screwed it on the wall first, and then screwed the pegboards onto the plywood. That way it would be less drilling into a cement wall which could take a long time . Works great !

AWESOME, especially for the price

Easy to set up, & the pieces just snap right on! I haven’t actually added the tools or anything yet, just put it up & snapped this photo.

Took about an hour or a little less! Easy! Lots of extra storage space with the top shelves! Love the paper towel holder! Huge plus!

This set up came set it all up in just under an hour with basic tools find your studs and your in business…really needed this in my garage to help organize things

light might

The screw holes are not spaced with 16” studs so I could only mount them on a single stud reliably. It’s great for tools then, but I can only use lightweight tools since it would be dangerous otherwise.

That said I really like the look of these device and it’s a great organizational improvement. recommended for anyone who uses tools occasionally.

Updating to say I like the look of these so much, I actually use them on video conferencing in the background.

Quality materials that look and function great

Added much needed organization to the garage. I had many things strewn about the work bench that I was able to neatly organize. Amazing product

Awesome product, awful instructions.

The actual product is 5 stars, but man, the instructions and hardware awful. I HIGHLY recommend d some 1/2 inch wall anchors and longer screws, probably 2 inch construction screws because the factory ones are not long enough at all.

Everything holds great and looks fantastic. Love the product, but holy heck, make better instructions. They're basically useless.

Not designed for US Code 16”

Simple response:

The width of these panels are 15.75 inches wide. The mount holes are 14 ⅝ inches wide. Coincidentally, that is about ¼ of an inch narrower that the distance between two standard 16” studs. The screws cannot mount on standard studs! To fix this, you either need to use mollies to mount the panels to sheetrock (imagine everything pulling out of the wall), or you must mount 1” or 2” something wood your studs and then screw these panels to that.

I am really disappointed at this major oversight. I suspect these are designed for a metric market or the product of a poorly converted measure from metric to standard.

If you are ripe with extra 2x4s and don’t mind that aesthetic, these are a great deal. If you were hoping to direct mount, look elsewhere.

Wrong Measurement, Missing Parts

I recently purchased another TORACK product and was pleased with it, however, this product was less impressive. It is not 48x40... the length of the black racks are 48", but the peg boards are not which make it not line up properly (short by at least 1"). The height is DEFINITELY not 40" as it measures to 31.5". Overall the product seems sturdy and install was easy, but the measurement issues ruined my previous plans. I was also missing some screws and some of the hanging accessories.

Underwhelming but sufficient

No instructions, hardware supplied is useless.

Youll need #6 1.0” wood screws to mount the upper and lower black cleat plates that upper shelves attached too & the lower cleaning unit and small shelf.

Measures as they say after its assembled.

Needed 47 1/8” ferring strips to mount to wall studs first . With 3” #10 wood screws.

Then mount the 3 peg boards that only measure 15 1/4” W ea.

Plastic bins come with it small gray that didnt fit and went into the garbage. Big orange bins are fine.

All in all couldve been better but it will siffice.

Poor execution on the hardware and no instructions..

But for me i didnt need instructions.. but still a big negative..

Not 48" wide!

I'm extremely disappointed. I searched a long time for a metal pegboard to cover an old window. This seems of great quality but I needed something to cover 48 in wide. Each panel (3) is barely over 15.5 inches. If i were to install more than an inch of old window I'm trying to cover is exposed. This was too expense to just use somewhere else. I'll be returning, I have no use for something smaller than 48", which is the length stated in the description.

UPDATE (2/2/22) : I returned on 1/6/22, had UPS confirmation of returned item delivery back to company on 1/10/22. No refund yet - I have contacted company providing my UPS proof of delivery requesting status update and they responded with.."OK, we will check" - no further updates. I contacted again to see if they have checked, no response. This is $160 I have yet to be refunded - going on 3 weeks. Extremely unhappy - will be reporting if I don't hear back soon.
