Its ok.

Its neat, but you have to be at just the right angle to get the effect. It appears very cheaply made, the base is not attached. It gives me a headache to look at it.

I saw this in a video meme. It looked amazing and I was ready to be disappointed for falling for advertising. NOT SO. It is amazing.

The item to be shown in the hologram must be pretty short, maybe 3/4 inch max. Other than that it will blow you mind.

I don't know what I would have done if I saw this in my experimental college days.

Perfect to decorate your desk!

I knew this was very gimmicky but I've always wanted one and I have no regrets.

Things to note, it doesn't project things that are "tall" very well, such as the frog that is included with the product. Generally the flatter the better, such at the coin I have shown.

When it gets smudged you can't really clean it off. I have circled a smudge spot that gets projected alongside the coin the I cant get off the bottom.

As long as you're very careful with what you put in and they are flat it works fantastically! But I did end up rating it 3 stars deducting one star for each above-mentioned. What's the point in sending along a little frog for it when it doesn't really work well with the the product, maybe a frog laying down, or closer to the ground would be a better fit. Also the inability to clean it is a serious problem over time.

Scratches WAY too easy.

Does what it's supposed to but right off the bat my daughter grabbed the frog from the bottom with greasy fingers. I tried to clean off the grease with a microfiber cloth and now it's scratched up and the hologram effect shows it. Lame.

Water Damage

If you put water in it then the water will appear to float, but it will also turn the bottom black. That is not to important because the bottom mirror is not part of the illusion. I like to pretend to dip electronics into water.

Not too expensive, iPhone 7 included in picture for scale

Very cool, worth the $$

This product is very cool and fun to show people. The illusion worked especially well with a piece of dry cat food, the illusion fooled my cat until she walked closer to it, to fool the eye it must be looked at in a certain angle. The mirrors are very delicate and can be scratched easily. This thing is very cool and def worth the $$

The kids, ages 10 and 17 were facinated with this little toy.

For $12.00, it is a hit. They put various toys and M&M's in it. It looks so real yet it is an optical illusion. They all thought it was very cool.

Silver surface is too fragile. Permanent streaks with no effort.

I got some water on the silver surface, and when I went to wipe it off, permanent streaks in the silvering were made with no effort on my part. Any attempts to polish out the streak created more. This is an extremely fragile item. Buyer beware.

Also the main image of this product is misleading. The frog's head can't extend past the bowl like that. The image is only convincing when the entire image of the frog is over the silver surface.

Have to see it to believe it!

Works great for small objects! My favorite thing to put inside is some water. It's incredible and nobody can believe what they're seeing! Be very cautious, the mirrors will scratch from just about anything. I used a damp cloth to wipe the mirrors off as the instructions say, and still scratched the entire mirror. I ordered an extra one because of other reviewers saying the same thing. My sister and grandparents and friends have all loved it! For $7 it's worth five stars. If they charged $20 it would be a different story. If ur looking for a fun toy for adults or children, I recommend this completely!

Great BUT

I really wish I could give this product 5 stars. I got this and the first thing I noticed was scratches and discoloration I guess you could call it. It still works perfectly fine but just the fact that I got it like that was a bit annoying. Also buyer beware this scratches INCREDIBLY easily. Awesome product still

Exactly as expected

Cheap, all plastic, and won't work for anything much bigger than a centimeter or 2, but for a small item, it works.

Seems the plastic mirror scratches easily, so need to be careful setting it up, also not very stable.

For what I paid I got exactly what I expected and wanted: something to sit on my desk at work as an occasional conversation piece.

I work in the finance industry, so a few coins stuck (little bit of glue) around the top with a AU$2 coin inside the device, appears to be sitting amongst the other coins, but cannot be picked up :)
