Comfortable fit with handy touch controls

These earbuds have been a great addition to my everyday carry. The compact charging case is sturdy and pocket-friendly, and the earbuds snap securely into place with a satisfying magnetic click, so I never worry about them falling out during transport.

The touch controls are one of my favorite features — a simple tap lets me play/pause, skip tracks, adjust volume, or take calls without having to pull out my phone. It took a little getting used to at first, but now it feels intuitive and quick.

As for comfort, these are genuinely some of the most comfortable earbuds I’ve worn — they fit snugly without that “stuffed” feeling, and I can wear them for extended periods without any ear fatigue or soreness.

Battery life has also held up well for daily use, giving me a solid amount of listening time on a full charge, and the case keeps them topped off and ready to go so I’m not caught with dead earbuds when I need them.

4.5 out of 5, I love them.

4.5/5 honestly. These are my favorite earbuds. They fit comfortable in my ear (I have small ears) though I do occasionally have to change the size of the silicone cover thingy. The sound quality is good. The material feels smooth and comfortable. I adore the touch feature. The set up was literally so smooth, I got it done in like 3 minutes. The noise cancellation is good too, so I'd say it's definitely worth the money and good quality for the price. Now, I'm EXTREMELY hard on my earbuds, I wear them all day every day, so my 2 year old earbuds have taken a beating. I recently got some more to replace the old ones, as when they wear down the magnetic pull towards the charging case isn't as strong, they still work, just take a little longer to charge and sometimes have to stay in one position. Kinda like when you had wired earbuds and needed to bend the wire one way to work, just charging wise. I'll insert a picture of brand new versus the 2 year old one that's been very well loved, (The new is the top and the old is the bottom.)

Amazing sound quality and affordable

This is actually my second time purchasing these earbuds, which says a lot on its own. I first bought them about four years ago in blue, and I recently decided to repurchase them in the “white” color. I will say, though, the white isn’t a true white it’s more of a soft champagne off-white, which I still really like.

Out of the box, everything was neatly packaged. The earbuds came fully charged in the case (which I appreciated), along with the usual info cards, extra silicone tips, and a USB cable. Just a heads up, there’s no charging block included, but it does support wireless charging, which is a nice bonus.

What keeps me coming back is the performance. The sound quality is amazing, the noise cancellation works really well and the tap features are super convenient. They connect seamlessly to both my Samsung and iPhone, as well as my Android tablet, which makes them really versatile. They’re also incredibly comfortable I can wear them for long periods without any issues.

Honestly, these earbuds are durable too. I accidentally dropped my first pair in a bucket of water and they still work like nothing happened. The only reason I even replaced them is because my nephew broke the charging port on the case. I could’ve just switched to wireless charging, but I figured it was a good excuse to get a new pair and keep one set for home and one for work.

I also love the size of it, it’s not too small big or bulky and fits perfectly in the palm of my hands. I’ll always recommend these they’ve been reliable, high quality and worth it for me.

Earbud quality changed from old version, no longer suitable for small ears.

I purchased these earbuds in white initially back in 2023. I used them without issue until I lost one of the earbuds and had to reorder. The company has updated the product and made a few changes which are generally fine, however one of the changes caused me to return the product.

I have small ears and wore the smallest earbud size with my old pair. You can see the 6 size options that you receive in my video. I noticed after 2 weeks of using the new ones that the earbuds kept falling out, even though I was once again using the smallest size. When comparing them closely (green is the new version, white is the old one), you can see that the new earbuds have less silicone and are more flimsy, so they do not hold their structure and are more prone to falling out. This is a seemingly minor change but for me it has rendered the product completely unusable.

The earbud itself also has a new “ergonomic” design but for me, it puts more pressure on the tragus of my ear. That might be specific to my anatomy but something to consider.

Black headphones are a better buy than the Seafoam

Pros: It's small, charges quickly, sounds good and has decent sound dampening.

Cons: Grabbing these out of the case is infuriating, they spiral into place, it's not ergonomic to grab for some reason.

Tapping the headphone typically pauses and starts your audio program, but it only works half of the time, it seems like there's connectivity issues, but i'm right beside the device i'm connected to.

Half of the time, only one earbud will turn on and connect, and simply setting them back in the case doesn't rec-sync like my other pair. It's been very frustrating trying to figure out any way to reconnect the other headphone, and when it does my device will indicate my headphone batteries are full, so what the heck.

Google hasn't been very helpful in troubleshooting these, I feel there are more troubles to shoot than are worth it.

I have two versions of this same headphone in different black and seafoam, I wish i could tell you why my other set feels and functions better than these. I'm not sure if these problems are maybe specific to the seafoam and not the black ones. So I'm not dunking he brand overall, but I wouldn't recommend this color.

Genuinely impressed for the price!!!

Positives overview:

With the TOZO T6 earbuds you are getting absolutely unbeatable sound quality and battery life for the price. Plus, you are getting tons of features that work well, including a wireless charging case, Bluetooth 5.3 (although only one device at a time), a decent mic for phone calls, and intuitive touch controls, making these buds an incredible value. The case is also unexpectedly well-built, because I have dropped it a few times and the buds are always unharmed.

Cons:

First, there is a lack of bass. It is still there, just a little quiet. However, I mostly listen to rock and metal and I must say the clarity impresses, even at high volume. That makes these buds great for pop music too, just not ideal for hip hop or rap. Second, the case is made of the same kind of plastic as a PS3 controller, so it can get scratches or a little greasy. I attached a photo so you can see what it looks like after 2 months of being in my pocket.

Additional notes based on my experience:

I actually spent about $50 for a similar pair of buds by Anker, but these have nearly the same sound for much cheaper, with the addition of convenient controls without having to reach for my phone. Unlike most buds, I love how I can just tap and the music pauses. You can skip forward and backward by double tapping and even change volume by holding down. Left is back/down and right is forward/up. You can answer phone calls with touch as well, and people tell me the sound quality is clear, despite there being some wind or noise outside. As for the battery life, I don't worry about it at all because with the case, the buds have never died on me and I only charge them about once a week. Charging is fast, which I like. The most underrated feature is that the case fits my Samsung wireless charging stand because of its vertical design. In fact, that was the main reason I got them.

Conclusion:

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommended the TOZO T6 ear buds for everyone, unless you need thumping bass. If you are practical, on a budget, and on the go, then these buds will be perfect for you.

Love them til I can't

I loved these until they forced me to stop. They sound great for the price. Not a lot of bass unless you jam them in your ear. They also don't stay in place during strenuous workouts. The sweat dispels them. This is actually my third pair of Tozos. Second of this model. Both pairs eventually had the same issue. They eventually start doing what they want. When I put them away in the case, they're supposed to shut off. But over time, they shut off then keep turning back on and reconnecting even though they're in the case and it's charged. It's very annoying. I recorded it this time. The sound is low, so it's hard to hear. It says, "disconnected....connected" then plays the audio from the phone again.

I really like them

I really love these earbuds, they have lost longer than some quality earbud even my AirPods and I love that they came with different sizes for the ear piece’s!

I really love the green but if want something more subtle I would definitely go for one of the more simple colors.

Very good product for the price

I'm like my Tozo T6 True Wireless Stereo Earbuds. They come in a convenient case which connects to a USB-C cable for fast charging. Plus the charge lasts a long time. The sound is excellent - especially for the price.

I only use these if I'm stationery as the Earbuds are not secure while I walk around.

My favorite headphones!

TLDR: These are my favorite headphones for a number of reasons, the fit, the quality of the sound, the noise blocking when I am listening in a loud place, plus the great service and price. I have owned a few other pairs of Tozo headphones, AirPods, and a few other brands, but I always recommend Tozo headphones to friends and family because I have seen the quality of the product,Tozo range of products, the comfort and the excellent service first hand.

Fit: I find this incredibly comfortable, the size is subtle and they are secure, comfortable for long wear and don’t get bumped out of my ears the way my old AirPods did. When I first tried these I had to learn how they fit but after initially getting used to the shape and size they have been great.

Sound: I love how crisp and clear sound is whether I am listening to music, podcasts or calls. The excellent fit does mean I can’t heat other sounds around me as much, so depending on the use case one does need to be careful and aware of the noise blocking these provide.

Touch controls: I tend to prefer to control headphones with my phone, but do use the pause and play on these some, it is a sensitive control so awareness of contact with the control pad is important.

Battery life and charging: the Tozo T6 has impressive battery life, the case charges either by plugging into the included charger or on touch chargers, and holds charge for a significant amount of use.

Pairing: There is pleasant and not overly loud chime that signals the headphones have paired, the different models make different sounds and this pair is quite pleasant.

Connectivity: The headphones pair very easily with both my iPhone and iPad, although I do have to manually select to connect or disconnect if I’m switching back-and-forth between the two, but that’s a design flaw of Apple, not of the headphones. The range is really good as well, I can leave my phone sitting in one part of the house and walk around while still reliably listening to music or podcasts.

Appearance: I personally like the appearance and size of the case, and I love how subtle the headphones are when I am wearing them and while I have opted for black ones here, there is a fun array of color options in the Tozo product set!

Mic and call quality: the mic picks up sound really well in a quiet setting, however, when I am in a loud or windy place the Mic does seem to pick up the background noise. That said, these are still my favorite headphones and I’m usually making calls in quiet locations so it hasn’t been an issue for me. When I need to make calls in a louder location I prefer my Tozo T9 headphones that I have had for a year now and also highly recommend.

Customer service: Tozo is thoughtful, responsive, clear and friendly. I have had limited need to contact them and these Tozo T6 have worked perfectly since I got them a month ago, but I had first fallen in love Tozo headphones a year ago when I got a pair after reading a number mentions about these as people’s favorite headphone recommendation. After a few months that one pair of T9s (also great!) had a service need that was quickly and effectively resolved which established my confidence in this company, the products and my brand loyalty, and I haven’t had any issues with any other products needing service so while it is unlikely you will have an issue, be assured the company is deeply caring about the customer expired.

I have received a promotional credit for these headphones, but that has not influenced my opinion or review and my discovery and enthusiasm for Tozo products existed prior to promotional credit.

Small case, small buds, small price, great bang for your buck

Along the years, I bought three pairs of TOZO earphones: the NC9, the NC7, and most recently the T6. The NC9 kept me company for several years; the NC7 lasted less than a year (but TOZO readily honored its warranty); and I’ve had the T6 for about a week. I keep going back to TOZO’s products (I also have a wireless charger and a smartwatch) because they’re great bang for your buck.

All three earphones sound good: you can feel the bass, but it isn’t muddy and doesn’t smother the mids; the mids are clear; the highs are slightly subdued, with no perceptible sibilance. All this makes for easy listening for long stretches of time, while also providing enough “oomph” for the gym.

Something else I really like in all three earphones is the touch-control system. It’s intuitive and responsive, so that, contrary to what I originally feared would happen, I get each command right most of the time, despite my being rather clumsy.

Another big plus for me is that you’ve got commands for both volume (press and hold) and forward/backward (double tap). Many true-wireless earphones have only one or the other. The volume command matters when there’s a big volume difference between two successive songs, or when you pass from one environment to a more/less noisy one. The backward command matters a lot to me because I listen to podcasts and audiobooks, and being able to rewind 10 seconds (as I set up the backward command to do in Jared Braken’s Listen Audiobook Player, the aubiobook app I’m using) allows me to listen again to a passage I didn’t hear correctly or missed because I was distracted.

I tested the microphone, and was heard clearly. I wasn’t in a noisy environment, though.

I tested wireless charging, and it worked just fine.

The T6 comes with six different pairs of eartips, which should be enough for most people. I have especially big ear canals, and I do have issues getting a good seal in my right ear. Fortunately, unlike the NC9 and the NC7, the T6 uses regular (instead of shortened) eartips. This means that if you have eartips you like better than those in the box, you can use (most of) them and they’ll fit in the charging case.

Contrary to the NC9 and the NC7, the T6 doesn’t have ANC (active noise cancellation). Does it matter? Your mileage will vary, but for me the answer is “Yes, more than I thought it would.” The NC9’s and NC7’s ANC really does reduce the rumble I hear in a crowd or in a bus.

Finally, I had no problem connecting the T6 to my phone and my PC (separately; there’s no multipoint). I had no problem connecting the T6 to the TOZO app either. The main advantage of the TOZO app is that it allows you to customize the frequency response of your earphones—allowing you to increase the bass if you’re a basshead, for instance. I wish it didn’t require you to enter private information such as your date of birth, though.

There you have it. I hope it was helpful!

Good wireless earbuds

I use wireless bluetooth earbuds daily while I work out, also while I garden in the yard and sometimes just around the house. These kept falling our of my ears especially the left one, and when they fall out you try to catch it and when you catch it what I was watching gets

fast forwarded and I loose my spot in what I was watching. However, I changed the ear bud cover to a smaller one for my ears and they haven't fallen out since. So if you have an issue with them falling out I would suggest you change the cover to one that better fits your ear. Would be cute if the replaceable ear bud covers were multiple colored. would be kinda fun idea.

An issue I have w other wireless ear buds when I am working in the yard is when I walk around the corner of the house to grab the water hose I loose contact. these haven't done that I appreciate that whatever signal they have that its not lost by me walking away around the corner of my brick house

Also when I get situated to begin exercising and go to put in these ear buds often they are not on, one his lit and the other isn't. Even after putting them back in the case and closing it still not working so then I have to get off my exercise machine go and plug them in to get both to light up, that's a little frustrating

but when I get them going they are great .

Incredible Sound and Great Price

As I noted in my video, I have had these a few weeks now and have found for the price point just incredible sound quality. It really steps it up a notch when you also pair this to the app and manipulate the sound quality settings to the genre of music you are listening to. The quick guide and manuals print is a bit small but still legible enough to assist through the process of getting these set up.

I stammered a bit in the review about it being waterproof - and just wanted to make sure I was clear that these cannot be submerged for lap swimming. Just sweat - quick showering and brief exposure to moisture.

I am obviously a big fan of TOZO products, the price point and the quality is great. They offer a great 18-month warranty and have support available. This is just another solid purchase!

Worked great for about a year and a half - UPDATE 2 comparison of new vs old

I bought this in April 2022. I've had no problems at all with them until the last month or so when the internal battery in the case seems to have lost its capacity. I charge it overnight and its down to 2 lights (~30% battery) almost immediately. The earbuds themselves still have a great battery life and easily get me through the work day without needing to charge.

I thought about trying to replace the internal battery, but it appears as part of the waterproofing, the case is glued shut.

I will be buying a new set. Might go for a newer model. We'll see. :)

Overall well worth the money spent and I'm very happy with the product.

Update:

I was able to non-destructively get into it with a couple of small flathead screwdrivers (gently pry between the insert and outer shell around the top until it pops up.)

Internal construction is very nice. Battery has some adhesive backed foam stuck to it to fill air gap and reduce risk of shock / vibration damage. Removing the foam shows the battery is a 901640PN2 600mAh 3.6V Li-Ion cell with a THREE-WIRE interface (3rd wire is for a temperature sensing thermistor). Unfortunately, while the 901640 battery is readily available on ali express and others, all I can find is a 2-wire version that likely will not work as a replacement. (at least not safely). I cant find the exact matching battery anywhere online.

Regardless, if you do find a replacement, swapping it out is a breeze. PCB is held in with two small phillips screws. Remove the screws then push up gently on the USB port to pop out the board. Once out, the battery can be disconnected (surprisingly, there is a board mounted connector rather than a solder connection. Nice.) and replaced if necessary.

Again, very pleased with this product even though my battery failed after ~2yrs. I just ordered a new one yesterday during a lightning sale for 20 bucks which is what prompted this teardown. Will let y'all know if the quality is still up to snuff when it gets here. :)

UPDATE 2:

Got the new one. Comparison pics added to review. In all pics, new version is on LEFT. Old version is on RIGHT.

Looks to be same quality. New one comes in a much smaller box. This is because you no longer get a storage case for the rubber earpiece bits (not a big loss) and the earbuds now ship inside the case with electrical isolation tape over the contact. Case is now matt black instead of gloss.

It's more compact now for shipping, but seems to be about the same value for your money... and still comes with a charging cable -- unlike my $900 phone 🤦‍♂️

You can pair with both sets individually, but cannot mix and match a left and a right from different sets. In the screenshot, my phone shows that it is connected to both sets, but only one receives audio at a time.

Almost too comfortable??

This is my 5th purchase of these. I have bought them for my family, friends & I've even recommended them to people across the web & youtube. I make/edit youtube videos & these sound and work perfectly for that. I loved these earbuds after first purchasing them a few years ago. I am able to run my dog on his leash & jog around without worrying they'll fall out. I prefer these over the airpods, higher priced ones & just other headphones in general. I've tried a different model of Tozos ( the T9 model) & they were perfectly fine, but I prefer these T6 ones. I'll tell you why. 😆 I am guilty of watching Youtube in bed & yes, I do fall asleep with these in my ears/ear. I don't necessarily recommend this "technique" but these are comfortable enough to sleep in, or sleep ON in my case. 😆 I lay down with one earbud in my right ear & I leave the other side out of my ear in the charging case. That way if someone in my family needs me throughout the night I can still hear out of the ear that doesn't have the earbud in cause they do cancel outer noise very well. Yes, I do lay with my head & ear down on the pillow with the earbud in that ear & can still watch youtube or a movie comfortably. I frequently fall asleep with the earbud in and sleep through the night fine, or if I wake up a little later I just take it out & go back to sleep. That's how comfortable these T6 Tozos are. The only reason I didn't care as much for the other model was that I couldn't lay comfortably with one in my ear like I do with these. But I just wanted to try the others as they were on sale at the time. Other than the laying down with them in/one in, the others were perfect too. The battery life is long. I can use them sometimes up to 8 hours before a charge is needed. The charging case also holds a charge long & charges the earbuds quickly. Charging the case itself with a micro USB from zero takes about 45 minutes, but after the case is charged I've had it power my earbuds up continuously from 4 to 5 days. The earbuds themselves take a small amount of time to charge in the case. Sometimes if one of my buds is almost out of battery, like when I fall asleep using one through the night & the other has more charge left, I will charge one at a time in the case & just use the full one for the time being. The only thing I would change is the type of charger the case takes to charge up. I prefer the C chargers, but it's not really a big deal. Micro USB is what it uses, but they also can be charged with a wireless charger. The earbuds are easy to operate & setup. The case is small & easy to take anywhere. The buds arr magnetic & easy to put in the case. There's even cute silicone & hard protective charging case covers for these like airpods have too. Touch controls make it easy to pause videos with a tap to the outer earbud. To resume & play the video just tap again. There's some other cool touch features too, but you can read about those & try them out when you buy these! 😉 Yeah, just buy them already. 😆

Don’t make me Return it

Sucks. And I LOVED tozo

These were my third set. I’ve used tozo since 2018. Awesome company. The only reason why I had to buy buy 3 pairs is cuz I kept losing an ear piece, anyway. But I’m on my third pair and, trash. The other sets I could leave the phone in the house and go out to my car and I’d still be connected, but, with this set the frequency is easily disrupted and I’ll have my phone in my pocket. not done with the company. I’m sure it was just a defective set but a month out and I’m out 20 bucks. I coulda got Uber eats or a better set of ear buds. If Tozo sees this and wants to toss me a new pair of ear buds I will gladly change my review cuz I did like the product of the previous models. Thanks. Hope to hear from you. Oh and now it’s not coming up on the Bluetooth list anymore so I can’t even connect them to anything.

They've Lasted 13 Months and Counting...

Actually 4.5 stars. I've had these earbuds since February of 2022, so they've just made it to 13 months. Here's what I've learned from them:

Pros:

1. Sound fantastic. Good bass.

2. Charge quickly.

3. Keep a charge for awhile. I’ve used them for hours without any issue.

4. Connect quickly with my iPhone or Apple Watch.

5. Longevity. 13 months and counting.

6. Stay in my ear pretty well while running. I’ve never had an earbud that is perfect though. I will have to push them in from time to time while on a run (4 miles) but it’s usually only one side (and I think that has a lot more to do with my one ear than the buds).

7. Good reception even if your phone happens to be far away.

Cons:

1. Volume (on one earbud) will mysteriously go down to zero (by itself) while I’m jogging. This has probably happened 6-8 times since I’ve owned them. I think it has to do with too much sweat combined with fiddling with my earbuds too much while running. Just bring the volume back up on your phone or watch.

2. The controls on the earbuds are pretty much worthless except STOP and PLAY. Use your phone or Apple Watch (or android equivalent) controls instead.

3. At one point the volume was very low in one of the earbuds. Turns out you might need to clean some wax (I know, gross) out of there from time to time. All fine after that.

4. The buds are pretty slick and not the easiest to grab out of the case.

5. Sometimes one of the earbuds doesn't charge but rare. Just put in back in the case and charge it standing upright.

6. My one cat is obsessed with these and will try to grab them out of my ear. I may have to get her a pair.

Update: Have now lasted 18 months…and shortly after I lost them at work. I’ll try again - I’ve ordered 2 new pair - one for home. One for work. The new case isn’t as slick.

I would highly recommend these airbuds to anyone

First off I want to thank the TOZO Airbuds company for creating such an amazing Airbud.

I was impressed with the way it is packaged, it came in a very durable box that’s is well labeled with all the information that one would need in order to easily identify the content of the package.

I was amazed how easy it was able to connect to my iPhone Bluetooth. The way it fits in my ears felt really comfortable and when I went on YouTube to watch some of my favorite music videos, it sound so amazing. The bass and treble it give is awesome, it is almost impossible to hear 👂 what’s going on in your surrounding because the airbuds literally illuminates all sounds around you. If your in a noisy environment you won’t hear a thing except for what your listening while using these airbuds.

I am also happy for the fact that if the airbuds should ever get wet in the rain 🌧 while being used the they won’t be damage due to their water resistance capability.

I highly recommend these TOZO airbuds.

I didn't know my old headphones were so lacking until I heard these!

(Update below)

I LOVE these headphones. The sound is crisp, bass is amazing. Further than that I love how convenient these are.

Pairing was so easy and I never had to do it again. When I'm ready to listen to music they automatically connect with my phone when they come out of the case! That still blows my mind. The hassle of reconnecting Bluetooth every time I turn on headphones is actually why I eventually stopped using my other pairs. It sounds lazy, but why would I go through the hassle when I could just plug in my wired ones?

I love how they automatically charge when I put them in the case. I've had no issues with low batteries. When they arrived the case was fully charged but the headphones weren't. The case seems to hold a charge for a long time... 3 times longer than I would ever be away from a charger. The headphones themselves haven't reached low batteries, and I listened to them at most almost 2 hours at a time. I'm very impressed with the battery life.

The case feels quality and has weight to it. The outside is smooth, and flipping the lid open and closed is very snappy and satisfying.

The earbuds stay in the ear and don't need to be adjusted after long periods of time, even with movement. Be sure try on the other silicone nubs. Find the right fitting ones and you'll have better sound quality! I found that out. Some of them are difficult to put on but that's a positive because they won't be falling off and you won't lose one.

A few small cons when it comes to preferences.

The biggest one to me is charging. You can only use a micro USB to charge it. I really really wish it was type-C! Not that big of a deal but it is a con for me.

I'm not a big fan of the touch interface. For one, it's a big more laggy when changing the song. It's not too bad, unless you need to skip a lot of songs.

Another thing is you have to be careful when removing them or putting them in. Holding your finger down on the flat surface will raise or lower the volume depending on which earbud it is. Which means you can accidentally raise the volume to max and blast your ears. I've done that once. Been much more careful when handling them since then. I really don't use the touch function other than touching to pause and play occasionally. I wish there was a way to turn the touching function off through the settings in my phone that would be nice.

Last con, I wish there was clear color coding or something distinguishable to tell which one is left and right. There is a tiny, gray little L & R on each bud, but they are on the inner side and very hard to see unless it's bright out. The logo "TOZO" is in bright bold letters right above the L & R. That's very visible. I try to keep the left one on the left when I put them into the case, but it's usually dark when I listen to music so I don't always get it right. Each earbud fits on either side of the case so they can be very easily mixed up.

I'm prolly going to put a dot of nail polish on one of the buds so I can tell which is which.

All in all pretty small cons when you consider all the positives. The sound quality exceeded my expectations. I put these to the test with my favorite dubstep playlist and wow 😳 I didn't know my old headphones were so lacking. Whole new experience. I didn't expect so much for the price.

Very happy I chose these! 😊

You should try them! If they aren't what you wanted you can always send them back.

**UPDATE**

So I would like to talk about the touch interface a little more... I've been noticing things with time that have become a bit annoying. Annoying enough to remove a star from my review :(

First, the lag is pretty bad at times. Most of the time it's not that bad. But sometimes it's taken over a second to respond. Long enough that you try to press it again, which ends up doing something different than intended. It's possible that it's more of my phone's problem than the buds though so keep that in mind.

Also I've been using the touch interface more often to skip songs. (tap twice) About half of the time it doesn't pick up the first or second tap. Instead, it pauses (tap once) and I end up waiting like an idiot, thinking the next song will start playing... It gets old. So I've stopped using touch to skip songs unless my phone is out of reach.

Last thing, if you ever share one of your buds with someone else they will either skip, pause, and blast or mute the volume... It has happened with mine 100% of the time. It's difficult to put the bud in your ear without pressing something! My friend wanted to listen to my song so I gave him one bud and he skipped tracks a few times. Tried again and it muted the volume. I tried explaining what was happening but he didn't understand which part was the "button" so to speak. It created a mildly awkward situation lol

Hope this was helpful

Comparable to AirPods for 1/10th of the cost

I paid $25.99 for these after losing my AirPod pros and not being able to stomach buying another pair for $200+. I’m so happy I did. I mostly use these for going to the gym and running errands. I had these delivered on 9/6/21 - it is now 9/30/21 and I am recharging them for the first time. I’ve used them 3x/week for 3 weeks an average 2 hours per use + casually using them for errands now and again (24+hours) and they only just now died. Very impressed with battery quality. Sound quality is good - I’m no expert but I can’t discern any difference between these and the AirPods. The place where these fall short is noise cancelling. They don’t offer much - it’s more than nothing, but nowhere near the AirPods, but that’s ok by me! I did a lot of research and these are the best quality for the price. I also think they look very sleek. 5/5 do recommend.

As good as the Name Brands but with your wallet in mind.

Fantastic sound quality. Great treble and bass. The IPX8 waterproof is no joke. You can comfortably keep these bad boys in your ear when you take a shower with no fear whatever. The mic when wearing just one is good as long as its not noisy. Im guessing that with both in the mic would preform good anywhere under any circumstances.

30 hours of extra battery life from the carrying case charger. You can Recharge the case via type C or if you have a wireless charger just set it right on it, good to go. Each headphone lasts 5 to 6 hours while being on the entire time. I keep 1 in and when that starts to die just switch it with the one in the case.

Overall, for the price its incredible. I would pay 60 for these knowing how good they are. If you can't afford Galaxy live buds or Apple airs because of the price, this is definitely right behind them.

Same as iPods but volume not working properly. Works with iPhone

It cancels sound a lot. I run in the woods so wasnt prepared for that but yes it cancels outside sound well which would be good to save ears because competing sound means you'd turn up volume and damage ears. I had to play around with the sound a lot before I found what I liked but I am a musician. Honestly these are the same as iPods (which are ok). They don't go super loud much like iPods but are perhaps more safe for your ears (as are Ipods). The case comes in black which I do like. I also like the wireless charging. They sound very good for being wireless. Minus the fact the one is not working correctly. I am waiting to find out how to return them. I like the feel in my ears. I did have to play around with different ear pads to find good fit and they give your several. I think the packaging is good. These guys know what they are doing marketwise. They connected to by iPhone easily and my iWatch as well. The only issue I have is that when I am listening to music and get a call, my earbuds do not connect the call to buds consistently I am not sure why this happens but I have to quit music and call person back. Or I have to quit music and have them call again in order to hear them in my earbuds but am unable to increase volume- it just isnt working as it is DEFECTIVE. The right ear does not go work when long press for 3 seconds for for phone calls. This is a big problem because I can’t hear caller clear. I will need a replacement.

I also ran with them yesterday and one fell out. I think because they were new I didn’t place them into my ear deep enough.

A great value! Great sound and performance!

The short review.

The best value for the dollar out there in earbuds! Incredible sound quality!

The long review.

I bought these to replace a set that I had lost. However, they had great sound. I didn't want to spend a fortune either. The first set I ordered had really lousy

I looked a bit more and saw these Tozos. These cost a little more. Plus they look like the set I lost, so I figured I'd give them a try.

PACKAGING:

I took them out of the nice packaging they arrived in; placed them in thier charging case. The charging lights came on. They went from 5 to 3 to 1 light. Which was nice as I didnt have to wait to charge them. They come with a quick setup guide along with a booklet that has detailed instructions. The box also included 6 sets of ear buds. 5 in a small case, the other on the ear buds themselves. Under the earbud case was a nicely packed USB flat charging cable.

PAIRING:

As I waited 15 minutes. I read the easy to follow instructions. I went into my S10+ bluetooth setting and set it to scan. I took the ear buds out and they paired to my S10+ in literally a matter of seconds. I can say in all honesty, I've never had any bluetooth device pair/connect as fast as these Tozo's. Not even my $300 full size noise cancelling headsets that I travel with paired as fast. Also the case has a magnet that "grabs" the earbuds as soon as you set them inside. As you open the case there is no fear of the earbuds flying out and getting lost.

SOUND QUALITY:

(As a qualifier. I am 10+ year classically trained trumpet player.)

I used three songs for the sound quality test.

"Time" from the movie Inception - Hans Zimmer.

It begins with the piano and a solo bass string marking "Time" (Yes. The tempo is 60 beats a min. I checked) With most headsets the bass is lost or sounds muddled. With the Tozod the bass was not muddled and clearly defined. It had a bit of punch which I liked. At the top of the song the French Horns came through clear and strong without any distortion. Plus the solo guitar part could clearly be heard also. The highs where crisp, clear, didnt sound scratchy either. This is a tough song for any speakers to reproduce acurately, let a lone small ear buds. I had to actually turn down the volume at that point. So far so good. Next...

"I wish it would rain down" - Phil Collins.

Insert a Mr. Spock raised I brow! The vocals where clear, defined, no distortion, Eric Clapton's amazing guitar clearly sailed over the top. Bright and clear as ever. Chester Thompson's drum work was sharp, and each snare hit sounded clean and resonated.

Here's where I expected the Tozo's to dissapoint me. Leland Sklar's bass guitar. Most headsets you "hear" the bass line. Heck I dont think I've come across a subwoofer (except one) that could really "play it". The bass guitar part in this song is as good as Eric's guitar work. Sadly its lost most of the time. The Tozo's blew me away. I could hear the bass guitars "tonality"!!! There was no thump, thump, bump, bump as what happens most of the time with this song. It was incredible to be able to hear each note of the bass guitar line so clearly, rich and with depth.

Finally:

"Silent Lucidity" - Queensryche

Figure I'd go full bore now. Progressive rock band, backed up by a full string orchestra (Scored by the late great Michael Kamden) This is a song I have personally have heard live, in person, twice. I know what a full string orchestra sounds like in person. I know very well what a 12 string guitar sounds like in person. My late grandfather used play the guitar. The 12 string was his favorite and would play it all the time. All I can say is this. The Tozo's sound 98% as good as my $300 Noise cancelling headset and give a good run to my home surround system.

Final impressions:

5 hours of battery life is plenty long for me. With the carry case its 70 hours. Which is awesome. I have a charging "plate" so I set the case on it and it began to charge. Thats a nice touch when I'm home, No cables to fiddle with. As I'm more interested in sound quality than anything else. After listening to these three songs I have no doubt a call also would sound as good.

In the end I'm very happy with the Tozo's. Now I need to keep a better eye on them and not lose them!

So far, so good! Excited to walk in the rain

I got them today, so my experience with these earbuds is pretty limited. I've also never had wireless earbuds before - until now, I was using the cheap, wired headphones that came with my iphone. I got really frustrated with the cord always catching on my hands when I was walking, and now that I'm sewing frequently (covid fabric face masks) I had a really hard time tolerating cheap headphones for hours at a time, and I couldn't play movies or videos loud enough to hear over the sewing machine, especially at night. It also meant I had to take the headphones out if I needed to move to grab things, because the cord isn't long enough to go around my sewing machine from my laptop and have pretty much any range of motion.

The box these come in is surprisingly nice! It's a sliding box, so it's easy to open. I think I'm going to keep storing them in that box when I'm not using them for a while, so they're easier to find and protected. And the case itself is really nice, it's sturdy and doesn't feel cheap. I like that it's magnetized, so the earbuds easily click into place. It's a little hard to remove the first earbud, but the second comes out easier due to having a little extra space to get your fingers in the case.

The earbuds themselves are nice. I've had some trouble with the touch controls (especially when I was trying to pick the right size for them, I had one in my ear and I was messing with the other one, and it kept pausing and playing lol) but I think that'll improve with a little practice. It's so nice to not have to worry about a cord!

The sound seems good, but I think most would after using the ones that came with my phone since 2018.. I am hearing things I never heard in some songs before, which is really cool! Also, my volume is set as low as possible and it's still decently loud. I'm probably on the other side of the spectrum where I might prefer to be able to have it a little quieter (when I'm just sitting at my desk, without a sewing machine going)

The noise cancellation seems decent (but it's not even a factor in why I purchased these), I'm wearing them now (still at lowest volume) and I can't really hear my keys clicking on my laptop as I type this. It definitely depends on the music you're listening to though. I tried classical music and I can hear the click of the keys, though it's still quieter than normal.

Pausing the music, I can hear the clicks more, but it's still quieter than it would be without them in. I can hear a tiny bit of static with the music paused, but I can also hear electricity in outlets so that might just be me.

It takes a little bit of twisting/wiggling to get the earbuds to settle correctly, but they feel pretty secure once they're in. I like that it comes with multiple sizes, 5 in the box and one already on the earbuds. I tried several, and I'm pretty sure I'm back with the size that was already on them (possibly the size smaller). I haven't gone running with them yet, so I'm not yet sure just how secure they are, but they don't feel like they'll fall out easily compared to my cheap headphones, and they're a little annoying because obviously I can feel them in my ears, but they definitely don't hurt to wear.

I'm using a wireless charger right now. It didn't say what the light indicators on the case mean (in the manual), but it seems like the four white dots will all be solid when it's fully charged? Right now I have two solid, and one blinking. I'm a little concerned as the case is getting a bit hot from the wireless charger, but I've never used a wireless charger so maybe that's not abnormal.

I'm very excited to be able to take walks in the rain! I absolutely love the rain, but with my old headphones, I was cautious with water because I don't think they're waterproof... It's really nice that the case is also waterproof, so I don't have to worry about damaging it if I bring it with me in the rain.

I registered for the warranty, which says it's 18 months on the sticker that came in the box. I think I saw somewhere else that it was a 12 month warranty, so I'm hoping it's actually the 18 months it says in the box.

I will say, the little robot voice that plays with these is so strange. I don't know if that's with all bluetooth headphones or just these, so I won't say it's a flaw in this product, but it does say things like 'headset is connected' and 'forward' when you skip a track.

Something just happened - my cat came up to me and nuzzled my ear and paused my music with her nose! So these are definitely not cat-proof.

I can't yet comment on battery life or how secure they really are during exercise yet, but I'll try to come back after I've had them for a few days/weeks.

I'll update if anythng happens or changes, but right now everything seems good!!

7.22.20 update

You can use each individually, absolutely no problems! You don't have to worry about pairing each one. I took one out of the case and it immediately paired with my phone. Then, I took the other one and it also paired, and I put the first one back in the case to charge. Totally seamless and so easy to do! Helps me a ton for when I want to just use one, when I need to hear things around me but still want to listen to music/audiobooks. The only weird thing is when you grab the second one (like if you wanted to use both) it says primary or secondary in each one, which is annoying. I still don't appreciate that these talk to me (except saying on/off, but even that isn't necessary to me). But it's quick, so I guess it's not a big deal. If I'm listening to an audiobook or something, it's probably best to pause it for a few seconds though so you don't miss something.

11.27.22

They’re still going strong! I still use them every time I go for a long walk, and they’re holding up well. The frustrating thing is if I happen to take a few weeks without using them, I do have to charge them again, even if they were completely charged. When the case runs out of charge, they automatically pair with my phone/laptop, because they can’t tell they’re in the case, and that can be annoying. I still love them, though!!

UPDATE-June 2026 (originally ordered 2020)

they still work! I use them almost daily. They run out of battery faster than they used to, but they still work and I’m still happy with them. The past 6 months or so, I’ve been using them for an hour most days (sometimes longer) on a Bellicon trampoline and while they sometimes feel a little loose, they don’t fall out. I did unfortunately misplace the other earbud options so that’s not really a fault of the product. I did move twice since originally ordering them, so they’re ~somewhere~ probably.

Great customer service

I purchased them and for the first week, they were great. Then one day I put them in and the right ear bud was dead. Would not pair or charge. Would not reset, nothing. When I put it into the case to charge, the charging light would just flicker (see my video). I emailed the company as the manual has no guidance for what to do if things go wrong.

The company, however, immediately replied with guidance on how to fix. Unfortunately, the pair could not be fixed. TOZO offered to provide a new pair to replace the broken ones. I received the new set and they seem to be working great. Very good customer service and support.

***These Sound Awesome ***

I like these cordless Bluetooth earbuds! Their made with good quality and the case has a little bit of weight to it which makes me think that the charging case is going to be durable.

I charge them up and listened to them and the sound quality is awesome! I got these for my job to help pass the time while listening to music. They lasted a whole eight hour shift with nonstop play!!!.... I bet they would have lasted longer if I didn’t shut them off. This Sunday I work a 12 hour shift and I’m curious to see if they will last the 12 hours. I’ll send an update and let you guys know.

They synced and paired flawlessly to my iPhone without any hesitation. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is cause the cover that goes over the charging port is a little bit in the way of my charger and I have to jam it in there slightly because the rubber piece is wedged in the way. I’m able to get my charger in there for it to charge but other than that there’s nothing wrong with ‘em. I would definitely recommend these to anybody.

Absolutely Hit a Home Run with This Purchase

Ok, so this is my first pair of Bluetooth ear buds. I must say from the start that I am more than satisfied with my new Tozo T6 ear buds. They arrived sufficiently charged for me to try out right away. For someone who has not connected anything via Bluetooth before, I had no problems with making a connection with my tablet. The fact that I can hear the buds tell me when I am connected is reassuring. I also had no problem with the volume control tapping the right bud twice and holding to increase the volume, and then tapping the left but to decrease the volume all worked as described. I have over the past few days changed out the soft tip sizes to get a fit that fits my ears correctly. I don't worry at all that they would fall out, and they fill my ear canal to block out the noise from outside my ear. I find that most of the music I listen to doesn't need a high volume to sound great!

One of the comments I read before purchasing these Tozo T6 ear buds was that they are hard to remove from the case. After just a few minutes trying different techniques, I found that by using my right forefinger positioned between the two buds, applying slight forward and upward pressure, I am able to remove the right earbud with little difficulty. Then removing the left one is real easy. I have put a short video here to show just how I do it. It also shows how to open the charging port, which is easily done with even a short fingernail.

I have worn them for over four hours straight while snowblowing without any ear fatigue or running low on power. I did wear hearing protectors over the top of the ear buds to dampen the sound of my tractor, without any interference with the hearing protectors, or with losing connection with my tablet. What surprised me the most was when I got out of the tractor cab, and walked inside the house which was at least fourty feet away, and didn't loose my connection with my tablet. I never expected that kind of range from this tiny little bud.

I don't know if I will ever need the waterproofing feature of the Tozo T6 ear buds as I don't run or plan on using them in the shower, but knowing I can clean them without worrying about a little water on them is reassuring.

Ok, so time for a final review,

Great wireless earbuds for the gym! Full Review

Update 07/15/2020:

After 9 months, one of my earbuds stopped functioning, however I emailed Tozo support and inquired about the 1 year warranty. After trying a few troubleshooting tips they suggested, my earbud was still not functioning. After replying back to Tozo support, they said they would ship a replacement. Great support from Tozo!

Update 07/12/2020:

After 9 months, my right earbud has stopped working completely. I don’t use these daily, maybe a a few times per month, and only for 1-2 hours at a time max if I go on a long walk. Although I initially said these were great (they do sound great), since they only lasted 9 months with minimal use, I am not sure how durable/reliable they are, unless I just happened to get a bad pair.

Original Review:

I just got these earbuds and I am really happy with them so far. My main use for these is to wear while working out at the gym. Since these earbuds are not name brand and less than $100, they are considered "cheap". However, to me they are a great alternative to more expensive earbuds like AirPods, Echo Buds and Pixel Buds etc. Here is a review:

What You Get In the Box:

- Earbuds

- Case

- USB Cable

- Instructions

- Several different sizes of ear tips

Pairing:

Pairing these earbuds is really simple. All you have to do it take them out of the case and then you will see them available in your bluetooth settings.

Touch Controls:

The touch controls work great, but they are a little sensitive. Since the size of these earbuds is so small, it is easy to accidentally touch the controls even if you don't mean too. However, it's not a huge deal most of the time.

Fit:

These earbuds come with several ear tips, so most people should be able to find a size that works for them. Also, when you insert these earbuds, you give them a little twist to make them fit even more secure in your ear. I also like how they are compact and don't have the long "Stick" piece that AirPods have that protrude outside of your ears. I wear these to the gym and they have yet to fall out.

Sound Quality:

I can't compare these to AirPods or any other more expensive brand name earbuds, but these sound really good to me. Admittedly I am not an expert, but these have a nice rich sound to them. If you pick the ear tip that is the right size for you, they do a good job of sealing the audio in your ear, as well as keeping unwanted sound out.

Charging:

These can charge via USB cable, or if you have a wireless charger that works too. I have a wireless charger iPhone stand and as a test, I placed the earbud case on it. As expected, the case started to charge, so I can verify that it works fine.

Battery Life:

I haven't used these more than an hour or two at a time, so for me battery life is not an issue, however I believe these are supposed to last at least 4-5 hours per charge.

Case:

The case is about 1 inch thick and 2 inches tall. One of the reasons I picked these earbuds over some of the other options is that I wanted a fairly compact carrying case to keep in my pocket while I am at the gym. This case to me is the perfect size. It seems pretty sturdy and makes a satisfying "click" when you close the lid. The earbuds are also held in the case magnetically. It can however be a little difficult to remove the earbuds from the case since they sit very snug in the case and the earbuds themselves are very smooth, so there isn't much to grab onto. There are also 4 tiny lights on the case that give you a visual indicator of how much charge is left in the case. Finally, at the button of the case is a small rubber cap that you can remove to access the mini USB charging port.

Overall Build Quality:

The earbuds and case are both made out of plastic, but they both feel sturdy enough. These earbuds are also supposed to be water proof, which I have yet try. I'll try to provide an update once I've had these a little longer.

Price:

I purchased these for $69, and that is considered a "Cheap" earbud. You can actually find some cheaper options, but these happen to have all the features I wanted in a good price range. They don't have all the features that other earbuds like AirPods, Echo Buds and PixelBuds may have, but I also really didn't care for any of those extra features and these cost much less.

Warranty:

If you register your earbuds on the Tozo site, they offer a 1 year warranty.

Final Review:

If you want a solid set of wireless earbuds that sound good and are relatively inexpensive, give these consideration.

Pros:

Nice small case

Good price

Good sound quality

They stay in your ears

Cons:

Touch controls are easy to accidentally "touch" since they earbuds are so small

Can be difficult to remove from the case since the case is compact and the earbuds are very smooth (nothing to grip on)
