I like this speaker, my wife did a bunch of online research to find the Best portable, waterproof, Bluetooth speaker since our Sony connectables are quite old and they quit making them before 2020. I like that i can wear this on my belt, or strap it to my overalls , as I’m usually working in thr garage /shop/yard/garden and can have its playing wherever I am. The sound is good. It is light and portable. i am surprised the “buttons” have already fallen off and the name is also falling off. I got this speaker less than a month ago.

Audiophile Comparison — Why the Micro 3 is the Ultimate Pocket Champion
I purchased the Tribit StormBox Micro 3 on June 23, 2026, when it had fewer than 40 reviews. Having spent a solid hour conducting side-by-side, indoor/outdoor audio tests against my extensive pocket-speaker collection—including two Micro 2s, two Klipsch Austins, and a JBL Flip 6—here is the definitive verdict on why the Micro 3 wins for real-world use:
MARKETPLACE PRICE WATCH:
Pay attention to the pricing games on these listings. The Klipsch Austin claims a retail price of $109 but has sat at a "50% off" sale price of around $55 for an eternity. Meanwhile, the JBL Flip 6 has crept up from an $80 bundle price to $130. At its current price point, the Micro 3 offers far more raw value per dollar.
MICRO 3 VS. MICRO 2 (A MASSIVE EVOLUTIONARY LEAP):
SONICS: The Micro 3 completely outclasses the Micro 2. It plays noticeably louder, and the high notes suffer far less distortion at maximum volumes. The XBass button delivers a much more direct, punchy kick. In fact, listening to the Micro 3 makes the older Micro 2 sound muddy by comparison. It is a mandatory upgrade.
PHYSICS & UTILITY: Tribit engineered this extra power while adding only 21 grams of weight. The mounting strap is tighter on the 3, and the companion app offers far better, more versatile EQ options to tune the sound exactly how you want it.
THE MAGNET: The built-in magnetic back is a fantastic utility feature that holds incredibly well on smooth surfaces like a stainless steel refrigerator (though on rough, heavily textured painted steel doors, the heavy bass punch can cause it to slowly slide down over time).
TRIBIT MICRO 3 VS. KLIPSCH AUSTIN (THE REAL-WORLD WINNER):
THE OUTDOOR SHOWDOWN: This is where the Tribit completely crushes the competition. When testing with energetic tracks like "Sport Motivation" by OdinMann outside, the Klipsch Austin fails to project because it is highly directional. The Micro 3, however, pumps out a massive, almost 360-degree soundstage. Thanks to its superior wattage, the Tribit completely dominates outdoor spaces, keeping electronic and instrument-heavy music clean, loud, and full of energy.
THE INDOOR DETAIL: Inside a quiet room listening to Josh Turner's "Your Man" at moderate volumes, the Klipsch Austin does show great acoustic presence and deeper bass extension. But the moment you push the volume past 75%, audible distortion creeps into the Klipsch. The Micro 3 stays rock-solid and drives a heavier, direct punch-line at high volumes, proving it has the superior, more durable driver.
THE JBL FLIP 6 REALITY:
While the JBL Flip 6 is a powerful speaker, it is three times the wattage and sits in an entirely different, bulkier weight class. For a true ultra-portable pocket speaker, it isn't even in the same game.
THE FINAL VERDICT:
While the Klipsch Austin is a nice choice for quiet, low-volume acoustic listening inside the house, the Tribit Micro 3 is the undisputed king of real-world utility. It is indestructible, louder, vastly superior outdoors, clamps to your bike, sticks to your fridge, and drives a hard-hitting bass punch without breaking a sweat. It is an absolute engineering masterpiece.

Impressive sound quality for the size, with good battery life to boot
I'm writing this review as somebody who enjoys a more neutral and open sound signature from their speakers and headphones.
Out of the box, sound is pretty well-defined and clear. Bass is slightly emphasized, but most people will probably like this. Mostly, I'm impressed that highs and mids aren't sacrificed too much. Sound is overall very impressive for the size, especially how deep the bass goes.
The built-in microphone is slightly quiet but very usable, and voices come through the speaker very clearly. I wouldn't buy it specifically as a speakerphone, but it works in a pinch.
While I generally do not like installing apps for devices which should not require them, I find Tribit's useful. It allows you to tweak EQ settings on the speaker itself and change some other options. It allows you to assign a default preset, and another of your choosing to the XBASS button. This is all saved on the speaker, persisting even when paired to another phone. You can create an account (no idea why), but the app is also usable without one.
Physically, the speaker is built quite well and feels solid. The built-in mounting strap works well, with a secure clip, but the max diameter of 3cm (about 1 1/16") is fairly limiting. The magnets are nice and strong, though.
Battery life has been impressive. We use it pretty frequently (around an hour a day) and it usually takes a couple weeks before needing to be recharged. I tested the battery's capacity at around 5000mAh. From empty, it took just shy of three hours to fill. That's an hour longer than quoted, but this was also after running it as empty as possible. Charging is only basic 5V, no fast charging, but it has the proper 5.1k pulldown resistors to request power from a USB-C charger, even with an e-marked (100W or 240W) cable. There's no reverse-charging functionality.
Bluetooth has worked flawlessly during use. I can't recall a single time we've had audio breakups or disconnections.
I haven't had any durability issues in the six months I've had my unit. It generally feels very solidly built. It has been rained on and used in the shower a number of times without any problems. We haven't used it on a moving vehicle like a bicycle, though.
My partner and I have been very happy with this little speaker. It lasts forever on a charge, easily hangs on objects with the strap or magnets, and has impressive sound for its diminutive size. The price seems pretty fair for all of that.

This little speaker gets the job done
The Tribit stormbox micro 3 is a great speaker it has really good bass & clarity for a vast of genres and I enjoy it. It has a rear strap to strap to secure it to handlebars or something like that, it's also magnetic it can stick to something metal like a refrigerator that's great. what more can you ask for? It also has a tri-bit app for mobile phone and it has a great EQ for adjustments just an all-round grade speaker. Charging last approximately 20 hours I haven't seen it go that far but it seems to go pretty long long between charges. I also like that it uses USB-C fast charge. The value for the money is great and the connectivity on Bluetooth is simple!

TRIBIT Portable Bluetooth 🔊
This 🔊 is outstanding for riding my ebikes and escooters. Plenty loud enough to be heard clearly even when traveling at higher speeds the magnet is pretty strong and the rubber strap to hold it to handlebars is thick rubber that definitely feels like it will hold up for the life of this speaker... It works great, for attaching the unit when there isn't a spot to utilize its magnet.I also use this doing projects indoors and outdoors it's becoming my little companion and has replaced my bulkier B/T speaker when i am doing projects and stuff like that. I can choose to answer my phone calls on it or just let it keep playing by answering on my watch or phone instead. It fits right in the thigh pocket of shorts and pants. It packs a nice punchy sound for its size i am satisfied with the sound quantity. I really like the big front facing controls for volume and pause/skip forward and backwards. Their size makes it a breeze to use while still in motion. Battery life is also outstanding. Im glad I researched before buying. Because the name brand portables of this design cost twice if not 3 times as much and are less watts and offer smaller batteries/playing time, than this unit offers. I definitely recommend this speaker 100% and will be purchasing this TRIBIT portable Bluetooth speaker again in the future.

Micro 3 sound is better but Micro 2 is the more durable design
Having owned 10-12 Tribit Micro 2 (crashing does break them), I was extremely excited for the Tribit Micro 3.
While the sound quality, bass + volume improved, there are 1 major flaw in these units.
The deep waterproof usb-c port requires a longer cable (cannot use a L-shape cable due), and that in turn increased the leverage on the port itself. I have now snapped off two usb-c ports
A minor nuance is the strap to clip the device onto a strap is inverted versus the Micro 2. That means if you want to secure the device, you will have to detail with the Tribit sign + controls to be inverted / upside down. It takes a bit of getting used to.
I would love these speakers if the usb-c sport wasn't so non-durable.
My use-case is strapping two Micros to the front backpacks straps while connected to a power bank using L-shape cable to reduce stress on the ports.

A great ruggedized and waterproof speaker with many outdoor uses!
The tribit stormbox is constructed for outdoor use - bicyling, hiking, golfing, etc. and is designed to protect against water and for durability with the added bonus that you are able to attach the speaker via the strap and/or magnet. With that being said, sound quality seems to take 2nd place to the build. However, this is entirely forgivable as the speaker seems more oriented towards ruggedness to begin with. That's not to say that the sound is terrible as the bass is still above average for its size; but I did feel the upper mids and treble sounded a bit harsh. However, as a overall ruggedized outdoor speaker, it really seems to hit above its weight class!

Way more versatile than I expected
This portable speaker is amazing, super feature-packed, and has quickly become my go-to for outdoor gear. It's advertised for bike usage, but I've found plenty of other practical uses for it.
The main reason it's so versatile is the mount design. I love that it has magnets in the back, which makes it incredibly easy to just slap it onto metal surfaces when I'm working in the garage or hanging out at a campsite. When I do use it on the move, the built-in rubber strap securely locks it down to a backpack loop or handlebar without shifting around at all.
The sound out of this little thing is surprisingly loud and punchy, especially the low-end bass. It also connects via Bluetooth 6.0 and has a crazy long wireless range, so I can keep my phone stashed safely in my pocket without the audio cutting out. Battery life has been excellent too; it just keeps going for hours, and it takes a splash or a drop like a champ since the housing is totally dust and waterproof. They really nailed the design on this one.

Compact Speaker with Great Sound and Excellent Bike-Friendly Design
This compact Bluetooth speaker packs impressive sound for its size and is incredibly versatile for everyday use. The sound quality is surprisingly good, especially considering how small and portable it is. It was easy to connect right away, and the large front buttons make it simple to control even while outdoors or on the go.
One of my favorite features is the versatility of the design. The built-in magnet is great for attaching it to the fridge or other metal surfaces, and the strap makes it easy to secure to a bike, backpack, or stroller. We often bring speakers along on family bike rides, and this has been a perfect addition for that.
I also like that it includes a built-in microphone for calls or rides, although I haven’t had the chance to use that feature yet. The waterproof design and long battery life make it ideal for outdoor activities as well.
Overall, I’m very impressed with this portable speaker. It’s compact, easy to use, sounds great, and works well in so many different settings. I look forward to using it more regularly.

Great sound for such a small speaker.
This is a pretty nice, small bluetooth speaker. The build quality is great.
It has a really rugged feel to it. It also paired up easily with my iPhone 15 pro max and my Samsung S23 Ultra with no problems. One of the things that I like about this little bluetooth speaker is the little rubber strap that's on the back that I used to attach it to my ebike. The strap seems to be strong enough to where I haven't had any issues with the speaker falling off my bike at all, even on some of the rough trails that i've ridden on since i've had this speaker.
When it comes to the sound quality of this little bluetooth speaker, it surprisingly sounds better than I expected. It has a decent amount of bass for such a tiny speaker, but I will say at higher volumes, like max volumes sometimes the bass kinda fades into the background. With that being said, I will say that it does have a clean and clear sound to it with no distortion even at max volume. Also, it has a decent amount of battery life for a speaker. Its size as well.
Overall, I think this is a great portable bluetooth speaker, and it is a perfect speaker for travel as well.

Powerful little speaker
I am impressed with the sound quality of this little speaker, this is now my go to device that comes with me on bike rides, backyard, garage, or home for background music while doing chores.
Its size makes it extremely portable and easy to carry anywhere. It is also lightweight, which is great if you want to attach to a backpack strap for walks or hikes.
Quality of the product shows from packing. The box is very well designed. The speaker and accessories come neatly packed. This product feels premium. I also own a set of wireless karaoke microphones from this brand. They are also great. This brand has started to grow in me.
Very easy to pair, connection is stable, long range and without lag. Battery lasts a long time. I've had this on for a full afternoon playing relatively loud music while doing yard work and it never complained about needing to recharge.
I like the fact that it is IP68 since I used this outdoors quite a bit. It is great to know you don't have to worry about rain or pool water splashes.
I really love the magnetic design, it holds firmly to metal surfaces, I usually snap it to my fridges at the garage or backyard to have the sound closer to ear level.
The XBass button works really well for such a small speaker.
I also connect this to my backyard TV to bring the sound closer to where people are gathered.

Small Speaker, Big Sound – Tribit StormBox Micro 3 Delivers
I’ve gone through a handful of small Bluetooth speakers over the years, and I can honestly say the Tribit StormBox Micro 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is one of those rare ones that immediately stands out.
Tribit absolutely nailed it with this speaker.
The first thing you notice is the sound. For something this compact, it’s kind of wild how good it actually is. The highs are clean and sharp without being harsh, and the bass… that’s what really surprised me. It’s tight, crisp, and way more powerful than you’d expect from a speaker this size. It doesn’t sound cheap or hollow at all—it actually feels full.
Battery life has been solid too. I’ve been able to use it for long stretches without worrying about charging, and when you do plug it in, it tops off pretty quick. That alone makes it super convenient if you’re taking it on the go.
The size and design are perfect for real-world use. It’s easy to toss in a bag, strap onto something, or just keep around the garage, shop, or backyard. It’s one of those speakers you end up using more than you thought you would just because it’s so easy to grab.
Bottom line—this thing punches way above its weight. For the price, I genuinely don’t think you can go wrong here. I can’t say it enough… I really, really like this little speaker.

Great easy to carry along speaker with superb sound.
This portable bluetooth speaker is fantastic! The sound quality is superb. I am really impressed on how powerful the speaker is based on its small size. It straps perfectly onto bike handlebars. It does not wiggle around or slide which is helpful. The buttons are simple and easy to see when you're riding or moving around. I like how you can double tap the center button to forward to the next song. While I was cleaning, I realized I could strap it to the bucket. I am so excited now I get to have some really good music follow me around. I really like this brand. I have another speaker made by this brand and super happy with it as well. It also holds a really good charge. You can definitely get 3 hours + of music easily with one charge.

Good Sound, Poor Mounting Options
I normally use a pair of earbuds when riding my bicycle, but I wanted a way to listen to my music and still be able to hear the traffic and dangers around me. This little speaker reached beyond my expectations as far as sound; really good volume with super quality base. It attaches to my handlebars fine with the rubber strap on the back, but I gave it 4 stars because it moves around when I hit larger bumps and I am constantly having to straighten it back into position. It would be nice if they had incorporated folding mounting fingers like you see on action camera's; this would greatly increase mounting options for various uses and provide a much more secure way of mounting; however, it serves its purpose, and I feel much more aware of my surroundings now that I do not have to use earbuds.
Update: This speaker has now fallen off my handlebars 2 times while riding. The first time I was doing 20mph when it popped off. It rolled like a wheel for about 30 feet, but never stopped playing music and suffered no damage. The last time I was doing about 23 mph when it fell off, and my rear wheel rolled directly over it; again, it never stopped playing music and suffered no damage. So this gets 5 stars for durability, but it's terrible for having no secure mounting option.
I uploaded a video to try to demonstrate the sound quality and volume, but my GoPro's built in mics do not do it justice. This little speaker easily drowns out the wind noise, produces good base, and allows you to enjoy your music while bike riding.

Great clear sound, great bass
Full disclosure, I'm kind of a fan of Tribit. I have their StormBox blast and StormBox mini. I'm still into unbiased reviews, just saying this is a brand I trust.
I own a similar JBL clip and I have to say, I'll take the StormBox mini over the JBL. The sound is more full and the bass is deeper. I have an eBike so the handle bars are a little thicker than regular bikes, but this for no problem. Rocking down the trail or road, the sound is clear. Most important for when you're riding, the buttons are big, ready to see, and easy to get to while moving.
If you're looking for speaking for your rides, or even to start on your belt, this is a great choice!

Overall best sounding speaker for it's size, very warm and not overly boosted at max
The Tribit StormBox Micro 3 is an overall great sounding speaker for it's size. It's louder and warmer than the Micro 2.
Compared to other great speakers in this size and price range it just sounds better without all of the boosted treble that most of these small speakers have to compensate for volume.
I will say that the Soundcore Boom 3i comes close along with the Klipsch Austin, but they both have overly boosted treble at upper volumes.
It is by far the warmest speaker I have (in this size) giving you lots of mid bass to fill out vocals and acoustics.
With other speakers like the Boom 3i I would recommend using the app EQ to tone down some of that harshness, but with the Micro 3 I find that Tribit has tuned it just right unlike their other speakers. Default EQ is really nice.
If you want more customization such as led lights and such, the Boom 3i is a better pick. You can fully customize the light controls via the app.
If you just want a great sounding speaker and not have to tweek anything or use apps, the Micro 3 is my current small speaker champ.

Excellent sound quality in a small handheld package.
This is a very small Bluetooth speak that has surprisingly good sound quality. It is extremely easy to connect to either your smart phone or tablet (anything that has Bluetooth capability). While volume is adjustable on the speaker itself, I find it easier to do this directly on my phone. This includes TWS capability so you can connect two or more of these kinds of speakers together to give you a stereo effect (not really stereo but dual mono where the same sound comes from both speakers at the same time). There is also a strap on the bottom to connect to basically any type of bar (marketed as connecting to your bike, although I'm not so sure that is a smart idea - I'll leave that to the user). The charging port is normally covered (it is only waterproof while closed and not charging). Charging is (of course) via the ubiquitous USB-C which is basically everywhere now (comes with a cable although I'm sure by now everyone has tons of them). This is a very good value for money, and I recommend it if you want music on the go. I will use it when travelling - to be able to play music while in a hotel room (not too loudly of course, but more than my phone or tablet can muster by themselves).

JUST BUY IT. These speakers sound great! Excellent value.
OMG! This speaker sounds sooo good! I've had MUCH larger Bluetooth speakers which didn't sound half as good.
Bass OUTSIDE? Git outta here!? Well, this speaker has it.
I was going to pass on this speaker, but then I read another review where someone stated there has been significant improvement between the StormBox Micro 2 and the Micro 3. I was intrigued, so I ordered it. Let's just say I was not disappointed.
I will continue by saying this speaker will not replace your home theater system with a 15 inch subwoofer or anything like that.
But, let's be realistic. Who expects bass from a tiny speaker? I've been disappointed by bluetooth speakers approaching the size of an old school 'boom box.'
Yet, here we are. This speaker hits all the elements. Clean sound, powerful bass and a very portable, modest size.
These speakers are very easy to use. Pairing to Android was quick and flawless. The controls are very intuitive, yet a user manual is included. The only button for which I had to check the user manual was the infinity symbol button, which I found out is used for linking more than one Bluetooth speaker to a single device, effectively creating a 'stereo' mode.
What? I've been wanting this feature but the Bluetooth speakers I've purchased in the past didn't have it. I'm ordering a second one.
I live full time in an RV and the speakers in it leave much to be desired. These Tribit StormBox Micro 3 speakers sound much better.
So, now I not only have much better sound, I can also take my music outside. Yes! I'll also take them when I'm out hiking or biking. My cell phone's speakers sound good but the sound just doesn't carry outdoors. These sound much better than cell phone speakers, anyway.
I would recommend not using the Xtra bass feature at higher volume. The speakers produce enough bass without it and the speakers can clip a little if pushed hard with that feature turned on.
That's it for now. Awesome value and a great product. Many thanks to Tribit.
Edit: after posting this review, I discovered the back of these speakers is magnetic. You can stick them on your refrigerator, stove, metal outdoor furniture or wherever you want music and have metal nearby. Yet another welcome feature!

Rugged & boomy
This is my 4th Tribit speaker, so I'm obviously a fan of this brand. I'm not a biker, so I can't speak to the specific use for which the StormBox Micro 3 is designed: it's waterproof, dust proof, and shock resistant within reason (the instructions say *not* to attach it to high-vibration equipment such as moving vehicles). What struck me when I took it out of its box was how heavy it was compared to my Tribit PocketGo speaker, like picking up a chunk of lead. Some of that heft must be due to its quick-charging, impressively long-lasting battery; I'm assuming its rugged housing and boomy 13-watt sound production account for the rest.
The StormBox Micro 3 paired more slowly than both my PocketGo and my XSoundGo (perhaps because the devices I was pairing it with use older versions of Bluetooth?). This speaker is by far the most powerful, generating much more vibration than the XSoundGo even with its bass booster turned on. In terms of sound quality, I tested the StormBox against the stereo XSoundGo--my primary speaker around the house--on South Asian tabla (hand drum) music, a male voice with acoustic-guitar backing, rock music with vocals, Bach's Brandenburg Concertos played on original instruments, a few different podcasts, and a female narrator reading an audiobook. My conclusion was that the StormBox in bass mode was fabulous for the tabla music and darn good for a small mono speaker for other kinds of music as well as for spoken word, although not quite as clearly articulated as the XSoundGo.
I'm using the StormBox every morning as my dedicated tabla-raga player while I do my light therapies. Its magnetic back is great for getting the sound up at ear level and out of the way, and the booming bass has added a welcome new dimension to my sessions. The strap on the back isn't useful for me because it's too small to fit over anything except for a couple pens or a slim bike frame. The other element that doesn't work for me is the microscopic manual whose type I have to use a magnifying glass to read; to make matters worse, the section headings are printed in yellow on pale gray paper and are all but unreadable in any light--whose brilliant idea of good graphic design was THAT?!

Powerful little speaker. Great battery life
This bluetooth speaker is what I have been wanting for a long time. It gets very loud, has bass boost, is compact, and setup was super easy. My wife complained that it interferes with her listening to birds, but sometimes, it's nice to have tunes when working outside. The attachment loop is hecka strong. I tested it thoroughly as it felt questionable, but yeah, its strong and can withstand purposeful attempts at detaching it. I think this little speaker is priced quite well for what it is. High quality, easy to use and good battery life. Not much else you need with a bluetooth speaker.
