Pros:
- fantastic sound quality. It sounds crystal clear to me, which is one of the most important things to me with a speaker or headphones.
- it’s pretty compact, about the size of a stapler. This may not be a pro for some, but I think it is. Easy to carry and such.
-it seems well built, it doesn’t feel cheap to me at all.
Cons:
- bass is lacking a little, but it’s good enough for me. I feel like it’d be hard for a speaker of this size to produce a lot of bass, so this might not be a fair con, but I wanted to mention it anyway.
Great little speaker for the money. I tried a couple other speakers and wasn’t happy with them. They had way too much bass, and they just didn’t sound very clear.
This speaker is the opposite of those. This speaker doesn’t have much bass, but it is very clear which I love. I tried recording a few videos to show the sound quality, but my phones microphone didn’t do the speaker justice, it sounds much better in person.
Give it a try, I think you’ll like it.
Edit: After writing that review, I just started listening to my jbl flip 5 which I use in my garage. Man… the jbl may have more bass, but the tribit sounds more clear than the jbl. I may have to sell my jbl and get the bigger tribit for my garage now
Fun fact, if you didn’t read the instructions or anything either… if you download the tribit app you can adjust the speaker equalizer. You can also turn off “auto shutdown” in the app, which is what I think some other reviewers have complained about.

Better than I anticipated, super tiny and has really good sound, decent highs decent bass... USB-C charging, I highly recommend this to anyone needing a speaker

Excelente speaker por el precio. Lo uso con Dolby Atmos desactivado y ecualizador plano para un sonido limpio y natural. Aunque usa SBC, Spotify en máxima calidad suena muy bien, con buena claridad y bajos equilibrados. Los botones son suaves, los materiales se sienten sólidos y satisfactorios, excelente presentación y contenido de caja. Enciende con solo un toque.

Good sound, however far from 24hr playback. First day of use and died after merely 8 hrs of playback. Disappointing..

Update:
Bought another new model to take advantage of the stereo mode feature. Love it so much, mounted them on stands. The stereo separation is awesome, just wish they made a subwoofer.

I've had so many brands of these BT devices (still have most of them) but this one is by far my favorite! It's small, but has some weight to it, beautiful, highs and smooth, stunning natural sounding bass. If you sit it close, it has the uncanny ability to accentuate stunning L/R channel accents bordering surround quality. This thing sounds so good - it's only second to my NC headphones when I watch a movie since I don't use my denon 7.2 beast anymore. It's super portable (so I can sit it really close), waterproof, built like a mini tank (dropped it twice on to concrete from 8 feet). The battery life is decent, as is the connectivity range and sound clarity, it's also very easy to use. The one I use the most is the original issue. I bought the newer 'go' model which pairs with an app (has some nice features) but to me, the overall sound is not as rich as the older one. I did have a chat with one of their techs and was told, the new ones actually have better specs. Anyway, price / perfomance wise, I highly recommend this lil firecracker.

So much better than the Anker! We used the Anker speaker to play music while we sleep for the past couple years. It recently quit working properly. I decided to try this speaker instead and am very pleasantly surprised! It sounds much cleaner and richer than the Anker! For basically the same price it was a good purchase. It’s also very similar in size and will fit in the travel case I already had for the Anker. This is just day one but so far I’m very happy with this purchase.

Wow, really impressed with this tiny little speaker. Its been two years since I bought it and its been on countless adventures since then. There is barely a scratch or sign of wear, and the sound is excellent.

I bought this speaker in 2021 and forgot to write a review until I was camping in 2025 and everyone around the campfire asked me what speaker this was. I couldn't remember but people wanted me to see if it was still available. The bass is fantastic and the volume levels are super loud if you want them to be. The treble to to bass ratio is really great and the water resistance has been great as well. I have never has a single problem with this speaker and am loving it 4 years later just as much as I did when I bought it. Fantastic speaker that I highly recommend.
Customer
For such a small speaker it puts out some sound and bass! I like that i can move it with me to whatever area im in so if i start off in the bedroom listening, i can take it to the bathroom while cleaning or kitchen or living room. It even work while cleaning the garage(better than running the car battery). Connects right away to any blutooth easily. This was a good purchase……update died 3months later won’t even play when plugged in
Customer
For such a tiny device the sound is incredible. I love listening to music and while I have a great stereo system with turntable I also wanted to be able to access my library if Apple Music. The sound is amazing and love how portable and affordable this was. Sounds just as good as the more expensive Bluetooth speakers I’ve heard. Very happy with this purchase.
David
I'm picky and worried the sound quality would be poor, because the startup chime sounded compressed. But once the music kicked on it sounded full. Maybe not super large high end but excellent and would recommend.

This speaker was everything for me, great sound, battery life (in the beginning) and play connection from a distance. It wasn’t until my third year with the speaker that I noticed it needed to be recharged more frequently. Now it will not charge at all. It is now unusable and unable to charge. I’m surprised it still has the juice it tell me it needs to be charged. Needless to say I’m back in the market for a new speaker 🙃

Wow. To start with, my review will actually include a video of the speaker sound...Not me just holding the speaker. This has been about my 8th attempt at a compact Bluetooth product. By far, this is the best. It's got clarity, significant bass, and great battery life. I used Massive Attack "Teardrop" as my test song. I'll be checking out other products from this brand! (And this is nativity and baby Jesus approved! Merry Christmas 😉)

Listen I walk daily whether permitting of course and wanted to hear some music outside of the AirPods. This little music box was at an affordable price and the sound is amazing! I don’t even have it up real loud and it be banging. I carry it everywhere while walking, taking grandkids to the park, taking baths, cleaning up etc… it’s worth every dime..

This was a major steal! I’m so happy I found this. I was looking for a blue tooth speaker that didn’t sound like a tin can, to block out construction noise for my nervous puppy. THIS!!!! It sounds even better in person. Set up is literally just turning it on. It came charged. It’s lightweight, portable & the sound on here is outstanding! I may purchase another one or two of them. I’m so happy with this speaker
MJ
The big sound from this little speaker is quite amazing. However, it stopped taking a charge after about one year. When plugged in, it just emitted "battery low" over and over again.
But, the customer service was awesome! I told them about the issue and they shipped a new one out in under a week.

Update: this speaker glitched on me for a while. I was ready to get rid of it then tried again. It seemed to come back to life the next time I attempted charging it and has been holding its charge since. Lesson learned: don’t assume it’s a dead speaker until you try again with a charge. Weird how it didn’t respond for a while, but very glad it’s working again.
Old review: Looks good and worked great until it didn’t. I plugged it in for well over an hour with no change. No charge at all. Disconnects if it connects at all to Bluetooth while “battery low.” I would avoid this brand.

I used to have a Brookstone Big Blue and it was amazing sound but also was really expensive. This is SO GOOD! I was genuinely shocked at the sound quality and bass. I can’t wait to take this to the beach for spring break! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a super loud speaker that is small and packable.

I recently returned to working in an office environment. Only this time I am in my own office so I decided after a couple of weeks I wanted a better sounding speaker for music.
I started looking at the available Bluetooth speakers as I wanted something for the office and also to take along with me should I want to use it out of the office.
I looked at a number of different models from a number of manufacturers. This one seemed to hit all my check boxes. 1) Portability 2) Sound quality 3) Battery life 4) Ease of use
I ordered my unit and it arrived a couple of days later.
I brought it into the office, powered it on, and in less than a minute I had music streaming through it. And let me tell ya, it sounded great! Not gonna try and tell you it's like a McIntosh hifi but for $41, I more than got my money's worth.
I have had it over a month now, and I use it pretty much every day now. I did buy a USB A to USB C cable to charge it as the one that is included was pretty short. I didn't feel strongly about this as I could have made the included cable work, I chose to get a longer one.
I recommend this unit, great value all around and I would definitely buy another.
(The cable I purchased and is shown in my pictures is from DeWalt.

I usually shy away from brands I don’t know, and look at offerings from well known Bose, Klipsch, JBL etc. Those companies obviously make good products, but you also pay the premium price for the sound you get out of their products. I didn’t even know how to say Tribit, so I asked them(yes they are super responsive online), it sounds like Tree-bit. I like that this guy is built for the element, pretty much weatherproof, and it’s small enough to carry it in your backpack. Take it to the beach, or a picnic, camping? Sure!! The sound this little speaker makes is enough to fill the room. Sure, I wouldn’t play anything with a lot of bass at 100% as it would start to distort the mids and highs. That’s how I blew my last speakers. Bluetooth technology has come a long way with a lot less lag(you usually sense it when you watch YouTube videos with speakers like these), and this are times better than the speaker on my iPhone obviously. I am super happy with the purchase, and for the money, I am even thinking about getting a 2nd unit. WHY? Because you can pair them and get Left AND Right channels. Yes, get a pair of these and go stereo(or party mode if you want).
And another revolutionary one is the Tribit StormBox Micro. This, or rather these are high on my list. They are perfect as gifts, although I do wish they come in more exciting colors like Red, Green, Yellow, Purple, Teal maybe? And the micros do pretty much the same thing the XSound Go does, but in smaller package, and less volume. Pair these up and strap them on your bike handles and you got stereo sound while you’re riding. Genius! Good job Tribit! This is the type of innovation that we all need!
StingRayNet
It was EXACTLY what I needed for my application. I own a classic car and didn't want to compromise the original radio and speakers. I wanted a speaker that was loud enough to be heard over the rumble of my Big Block Motor and still provide nice clear sound. I was able to easily hook up to my Galaxy Note phone and listen to music on apps like Spotify and SiriusXM. The speaker is small enough and heavy enough to be placed on my center dash without any obstruction. I could put behind the seat but preferred an unobstructed sound from the 15 watt stereo speakers. Not sure if I can, but curious if I can purchase a second unit and have them both run off my Bluetooth together for richer sound. Not sure yet if the battery life is as advertised but don't anticipate needed more than 10 hours of run time and anytime and since it's charged via USB, I could always connect a small portable charger or even my cigarette lighter.
The only negative I have at this point is that the bass is too strong and no adjustment. I realize today's kids like that BASS, but I'm not a kid and don't like a strong bass.
I rated it 5 Stars even with the Sound due to Bass rated at 4 Stars. Great item for price plus, Tribit offers 30 day Money Back Warranty, 18 Month Replacement Warranty and Lifetime Support.

I just opened it today. The audio is incredible! I was surprised at how loud it even at the medium level of volume. With some songs I noticed a small sound of static but for most songs it is very clear and loud 😌. The only thing I have trouble with lifting the Bluetooth and Aux jacks. It won’t lift when I try to pry it off with my nails. I am not sure how to get it open and the user manual doesn’t tell you how.

I'll make this fairly short. It's a phenomenal speaker. And was great While It Lasted 🙏🏾. Period. Today [10.8.20] marks 1 year and 2 months since I had it and I probably likely literally used it every-single-day for something or the other.
I'm a audiophile and I have no complaint about the audio quality. Its amazing for what you pay for. Durability is great, I didn't abuse the thing, but i didnt baby it either and never once had a concern of it breaking from being handled or transported ANYWHERE.
So what do I mean by "while it lasted". Well, it now seems like somehow the bass speakers blew and I almost cant listen to it like this 😑.
Which is further weird because for the previous ENTIRE YEAR I was really into hard hitting bass filled hip hop music like Bone Thugs and now I stopped listening to all of that and I literally play nothing but BTS now [yes I am full 500% ARMY] and now this happens. Lol.
That's just life.
It was a great companion while it lasted. 🙏🏾
I'd even consider shelling out a few extra coins for a upgrade if I can get a decent offer 😉

So I am someone who likes to buy from brands I see in stores. I have great Blackweb speakers, amazing Lancing Altec speakers, and "Meh" iHome brand speakers. I bought this speaker to replace my HDMX SplashZone speaker that I use to listen to my podcasts or music while I shower everyday; it ended up losing its ability to hold a charge, so it was time to move on. It’s like a compact powerful stereo sound. I’ve never had a speaker before perform so well while watching movies on my laptop. I attached a video that hopefully shows the depth the audio can reach.
I have not used it, or had it long enough to have an opinion of battery power and life, but everything else I adore!

UPDATE 06/23/20: Tribit customer support reached out to me immediately regarding the defective unit I received and quickly shipped a replacement unit to me. The new unit I received functions as intended, without any of the background static and noise that the first unit exhibited. Defective units happen, but I really appreciate the good customer service. I'm a happy customer. Thanks!
INITIAL REVIEW: Bought this based on all the glowing reviews. The sound is fine for a small unit. I haven't owned a lot of Bluetooth speakers so I can't really compare but coming from an audio production background it's about what I'd expect from a consumer-grade bluetooth box. Decent clarity, decent bass, decent volume. Doesn't wow me. For $30, it's fine.
What DOES bother me is the high-pitched whine and intermittent static this thing constantly produces when it's connected to *both* a 3.5mm input cable and the USB charging cable (see video w/sound on). With just one or the other, it's silent, but if you try to use both (I'm using it at my workstation receiving audio from my computer so this is how it will be used 99.9% of the time for me) it makes an awful racket that's very annoying and distracts from whatever I'm listening to. Forget about enjoying music or games with quiet or silent sections. Turning the volume up to hear the music/sound better just makes it worse as the noise also gets louder with volume.
I've used this same setup/cables with other powered speaker devices that have not had this issue, so I have to believe it's the device.
Maybe I got a bad one but at this point I couldn't recommend this.

Hello all. I bought this to use with my computer. But I use it mostly to listen to a radio shack radio lol. Yes a 10+ yr old boom box. Believe it or not, it sounds nice. I have tried it with my computer, but the blue tooth cuts out sometimes. But that could be my be my computer. Other than that, it great. No problems with the speaker.

Surprisingly wide range of flat response with very little distortion for its size and cost. This low budget Speaker will compete with much higher class of speakers. It is almost like mini-studio-monitor!
My cell-phone microphone will not reproduce rich and full base sound of this Speaker, but I will include a short video sample.
I wished the control buttons may be more tactile and identifiable by touch or feel.

As someone who has been doing live (and other) audio since 1963 I have a well-trained
and experienced ear, and am VERY picky about audio and other electronic equipment. After using the
product for 2-3 days now I can say it is absolutely worth the money. I listen to mostly Jazz and Classical, so
accurate, non-distorted reproduction is a priority for me. It is actually amazing the reproduction modern
electronics has given us in a package this small. Classical solo guitar makes up a good portion of my listening, and
the unit handles this without a hitch. BASS: however, don't expect to get "plaster-busting" bass out of a unit
this small/inexpensive. It handles the bass range adequately, but the lower frequencies roll off pretty rapidly.
My solution for this is to put the unit up against a wall/bookshelf back/windshield of car to give the inherently
omni-directional bass frequencies something to bounce up against and be reflected forward. The windshield of the car does the same thing if I put the unit right in front of me. One trick for a less-distorted sound overall is to make sure your SOURCE sound (computer, cell phone, whatever) is pretty much turned all the way up. That gives a strong signal to the speaker and then one does not have to turn up the speaker volume too far. Right now I"m listening to my Opera channel on Pandora while washing dishes, and have the unit on the counter to my right, pushed up against the refrigerator for bass reflection. I'm amazed at how well it reproduces overall, bass notwithstanding. Just don't think you are going to get 110db of glass-breaking bass out of the unit...then you should be rather happy with it. Time will tell if the unit is reliable in the long run. NOTE: there is a fix noted in the Q and A section above about dealing with the time delay/synchronization issue in watching videos/TV.
Liveitupjay
So far this speaker is really good for $35. With the long battery life, ipx7 proof (not tested), sound with firmware updates, speaker phone and bass. The speaker has volume sync with my phone and when playing music at any level the sound is never muffled. One thing I wouldn’t count as a con but would have liked to see is a battery indicator of the speaker’s battery life on the users phone since the speaker is capable of volume sync. Also, I would have liked to see an aux cable included but that is not a deal breaker because with the quality & everything else you already get it is worth your dollar.
Cons: I’ve only noticed 2 things that I haven’t seen anyone mention (maybe I need to do a firmware update, but from what I heard this speaker is supposed to come with the latest firmware) which is 1. When playing back videos such as watching Youtube the sound goes out of sync with the video; which is pretty annoying. 2. When using the speaker to answer calls it is really low compared to listening to music. The person on the other end could barely hear me and I could barely hear them. Wouldn’t be able to hear them if I was in an outside environment with people around.
