I bought a new one and I got a dirty used one. All the stainless pot (first photo), container (second photo), and vent (third photo) show the sign of heavy use.
I even found the cap of power plug inside the plastic bag that covers the stainless pot (last photo).

So easy to clean and quiet
This has been such an upgrade! I love the stainless steel water tank. And only have to clean the water tank and the stainless top makes it so easy. I also love how quiet it is and that you can shut the light on or off

If you have hard water - get this humidifier!
I’ve had this humidifier for several months now and I’m using it really heavily now in the winter. It is by far the best humidifier I’ve ever had. I used to have the Vicks one and it was a losing battle to clean the mineral deposits that would form barnacles on the heating element from our hard water. This design is so much better. I can clean it within a few minutes even with lots of mineral buildup. I’ve included a picture of the before and after from heavy buildup (it’s been running round the clock) to totally clean. It took me maybe 10 minutes and that included letting it soak for a while with descaler. Typically it takes me maybe five minutes to clean it if I stay on top of it. Compare that to the Vicks ones that I used to soak overnight in descaler and still couldn’t get it clean. This Turbro is so much better. The interface is nice too. It’s easy to deal with and it’s pretty obvious how you use it and the safety shutoff has worked well for me when it runs dry. It just turns itself off. I do try not to let it run dry.

1000 ways to no
This thing is dangerous! I usually just use a boiling pot of water on my stove when I'm running our pellet stove to heat the house. This seemed like a good idea. Well, it works. All it is, is a water boiler. But it DOES NOT shut off when it's empty. I was just waiting for it to ignite or something when I heard the leftover minerals sizzling. This is not safe at all. I do not recommend and it should be removed from the market.

This Humidifier Saved My Life (Not Even Joking)
I’ve been using this humidifier for a while, and it has made a noticeable difference for me. I have cold air allergies / vasomotor rhinitis, and dry air usually makes my symptoms worse. With this humidifier, my nasal passages feel much less dry and irritated, and my skin is less dry as well. I’ve even been able to cut back on some skincare and nasal products.
The design is simple and clean. The 4L stainless steel tank lasts about 9–12 hours and is very easy to clean, no staining, no buildup, and no extra maintenance.
Heating does take some time (around 30-40 minutes with room temperature water), but I found an easy workaround: adding boiled water lets it start producing steam almost immediately. This also helps reduce noise, since the bubbling sound is loudest during the initial heating phase. Once it’s producing steam, it’s quiet, quiet enough for bedroom use and even acts as gentle white noise.
I also like that the top orange light can be turned on or off. I keep it on during the day as a reminder and turn it off at night so it doesn’t disturb my sleep.
The only improvement I’d wish for is smart control, so it could be turned on remotely.
Overall, it’s been a very worthwhile purchase and has made dry environments much more comfortable for me.

“Steam Dreams in Stainless Steel”
The TURBRO steam humidifier is sleek, powerful, and so easy to clean—no more gross mineral build-up. I love the warm mist feature; it’s perfect for my dry skin and nighttime breathing. The stainless-steel tank feels high-end, and the quiet sleep mode is bliss. My art studio’s air feels fresh and cozy, even during those long winter nights.

Natural steam humidifer with large capacity
This is a god natural steam humidifier for a small room. This works similar to an "airpot" with a removable stainless pot heated by an electric element. So it is indirect heat vs an immersion heater. It takes a good amount of power at 600 watts vs an ultrasonic humidifier which are in the 22 watt range. It will also add heat to the room both in steam and the unit as well. Since there is real steam coming out you do have to be cautious around it. I like that this does not produce the dust that an ultrasonic produces. The steam rises the same as off a boiling pot, so there is no jet of air and no additional fan so you cannot direct the humidified air. You can fill it by opening the top or though a port you can open on the top. It is a simple design and the front panel lights go out after a while and it has a plain white appearance. There are three settings so you cannot set a humidity except for the preset. You can hear the water boiling inside. The lid locks but it is an easy lock to open and then the lid pops open with a button. I wish they provided a place to add aroma therapy or medical aromatics since it is real steam.
