Turtlebox Ranger Portable Bluetooth Speaker

Price.

Too expensive. Works great. I put an air tag on it so I'm not out $500

Pretty pricey but a dang good speaker

My friends have turtle boxes and they all love them so much! My fiance said something about loving them and wanting one. So I got it for his birthday! I’ll be honest the prices on these things are a little crazy. But I love the size of this one it’s easy to take places! Everything I’ve seen about them they’re near invincible, have great volume, I’m not sure about battery life just yet as I have to wait to open it. I also love the color of this one it was definitely my favorite

Sounds terrible

Bought this turtle box ranger back in January and it is now September and it sounds terrible like the speakers are blown

Totally water proof lol

I didn’t buy this, but I was cleaning trash out of the river and I found it at the bottom and it had been there for a while and I turned it on and it worked lol so I think you should buy this

Built Tough, Gets Loud, and Perfect for Outdoor Use

The Turtlebox Ranger has quickly become one of my favorite portable speakers. The sound is impressively loud and clear for its compact size, with strong bass that carries well outdoors without becoming overly distorted. It works especially well in the garage, at the beach, around the pool, while camping, or on a jobsite where smaller Bluetooth speakers can be difficult to hear.

The construction feels extremely durable. The rugged outer housing and built-in handle make it easy to carry, and it feels like it can handle normal bumps, dirt, moisture, and outdoor use without being babied. Pairing it with a phone is straightforward, and the Bluetooth connection has remained stable during use. The controls are simple and easy to operate, even when you are outside or wearing work gloves.

Battery life has also been dependable and lasts long enough for extended use without constantly needing to recharge. I also appreciate the upright design because it takes up very little space while still producing room-filling sound.

This speaker is more expensive than many basic Bluetooth options, but the volume, durability, portability, and overall build quality help justify the price. It is a great choice for anyone who needs a rugged speaker that can actually be heard in outdoor or noisy environments.

Ranger is portable and durable all in one!!!

Love my new Turtlebox! The sound is just as promised. Loud and clear even on a boat riding those waves!!! Have been recommending it to all of my friends. I love the color I chose too!

Great customer service

Great little speaker. Loud!! Works well in the SxS, deck of the boat, or the dash of a 🚒. Even better customer service. My speaker got damaged in the line of duty and was quickly replaced. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Speaker is loud and clear

This speaker is absolutely the best! The sound is clear and you can pair it with another turtle box! Definitely would recommend and purchase again! 10/10

TurtleBox Ranger- Everything... and More!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Sound Quality in a Rugged, Portable Package

The Turtlebox Ranger has completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I turned it on, I was impressed by the rich, crystal-clear sound and surprisingly powerful bass for such a compact speaker. It gets incredibly loud without any distortion, making it perfect for everything from relaxing on the patio to outdoor adventures.

The build quality is exceptional. It feels extremely durable and well-made, and the rugged, waterproof design gives me confidence to take it anywhere without worrying about the weather or accidental drops. The battery life is also outstanding—it lasts for hours on a single charge, so I never have to worry about it dying in the middle of the day.

Bluetooth pairing was fast and effortless, and the connection has remained stable with no dropouts. The controls are simple and intuitive, making it easy to adjust the volume or skip tracks.

If you're looking for a premium portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers incredible sound, rugged durability, and reliable performance, the Turtlebox Ranger is absolutely worth the investment. It's one of the best portable speakers I've owned, and I highly recommend it.

The Best Speaker

The Best Bluetooth Speaker!! Folks I would highly recommend this Turtle box speaker it’s out of this world

High quality product and sound

Exceptional sound, really high quality. Built in magnets allow it to clamp onto metal and enjoy it worry free! Highly recommend it if you like exceptional sound you can feel!!!

Muy bien

Muy bueno

Almost perfect. Almost.

Really love it. Great battery life and rugged. Magnets to place it on metal surfaces are strong. Only reservation the sound could be better. Loud but sound range is not what I’d want for 5 stars.

Durable

This speaker has been an excellent purchase! The sound quality is impressive for its size, with clear highs, deep bass, and plenty of volume for outdoor use. Whether we’re in the backyard, at the pool, or on a camping trip, it easily fills the space with great sound.

I also appreciate how rugged and well-built it feels. The waterproof design and durable construction give me confidence taking it anywhere without worrying about bumps, drops, or weather. Battery life has been great, and Bluetooth pairing was quick and easy.

If you’re looking for a portable speaker that’s loud, durable, and delivers excellent sound quality, this one is absolutely worth considering.

Super disappointed Bad sound quality over 50% volume.

Speakers distort over 50% volume for almost any music I play. The magnets are great and the battery lasts for a while but I also can’t go louder then 50% without the sound quality dropping. Definitely regret purchasing this. Wanted to buy the bigger one but I was worried about the sound quality. Now I’m even more worried the bigger ones sounds quality won’t be great. Super disappointed, was hoping for a much much higher quality sound for the price and for as high quality as the speaker feels.

Spend your hard earned money on a better product at a BETTER PRICE

The Ranger looks great and is a great idea. At this price point performance should be above all others. First Ranger had a blown speaker and anything above ½ volume had HORRIBLE SOUND. The EXCHANGE process was great. They sent label I returned and got a replacement in about a week. The NEW Ranger is just as BAD. NOT SATISFIED!!! Ill be buying others at less than half the price. Left a review on their site and it was not posted. UPDATE. manufacturer sent a 2nd replacement. It is just like the others. The exchange process puts you outside the window.

Fits the bill!

I’m very pleased with this purchase! Opened it up (loved the stickers and signed thank you note from the entrepreneurs), cued up my “Post Mortem Cosmic Dance 🪩 Party” curated Playlist and immediately began dancing. Wanted to be ready for that next “Cause For Celebration” event. 😉🥂🍾🌈☀️🌅

You’ll need the correct adapter cube to charge it (luckily my husband’s IPad cube works )

I enjoy using music to create spontaneous connections and bring a little something “extra” to the party, so this will suit my needs perfectly!

The best we’ve ever used for sports

Perfect for sports!! Love the quality and the sound is just as good, if not better, than my $350 soundcore rolling speaker. The magnets make this speaker a game changer, pun intended. Goes right on the dugout fence.

Ranger

Loud/clear love it so far easy connection would recommend

Impressive bass sound

I actually tested this outdoors, and the sound is a little distorted. I compared it to UE speakers, and the UE speaker sounds better than this one. It gets pretty loud, but it’s not worth $250.

Battery life

Love the speaker so far less than 5hours of use @ time of review). Getting a 4star because at max volume (i understand because of higher power draw) it only played for 4-5 hours of play time. If you buy this, buy it with a battery pack that WILL last all day. Disappointed as I was using this for work in a factory just for it to die half way through. Sound is good, not as loud as it tries to advertise but is good.

Great purchase!

Love the Turtlebox Ranger 5.4 speaker. It took all of 5 minutes to sync the bluetooth with our phones and laptop. The only glitch was that the charging cable had 2 USB-C ends. I had to buy the adapter to plug it into the wall outlet. Music quality was excellent. The unit is extremely portable due to its light weight. We haven't had it long enough to test the battery life, but so far it is holding out on the first charge with about 10 hours of use and down from 5 lights to 3. It is a rugged unit and doesn't need to be babied. We used it outdoors at 20 degrees.

Improper handling

Box came opened, the speaker was loose and rolling around, speaker had scuff marks all over it, speaker sound is distorted at medium volume or higher

Speaker blew in less than 6 months.

The speaker blew in less than a year. Having to file a claim for it. This is the sound after it blew. It worked one day and not the next.

Love this speaker

I have finally added the Turtlebox Ranger to the collection! I received my gray Ranger 3 days ago so now I can give it a thorough review. It looks sleek, and rugged. Seems contradictory but that’s the truth. The carry handle is super convenient. The magnets are a game changer. The weight is surprisingly light compared to my full size Turtleboxes.

The Bluetooth connectivity couldn’t be easier. Battery life is great. And most importantly, the sound is crisp and clear.

Turtlebox brand is more expensive than most , I get it but this speaker is worth it.

Will be buying another to pair them up.

I love it but it won’t pair with my generation one Turtle Box

Jam Up Beach Lifestyle Approved!!!!

Awesome speaker exceeded my expectations! Boat, beach, golf cart and pool life! GET it!!!!! Light weight compact and good looking vibes! Jam Up Beach Life approved!

Awesome purchase

Waterproof! Sound good gets plenty loud enough! Worth every dollar. Love the color. Also magnetic
