Just beautiful
My daughter has been wanting a dry erase calendar to help her to stay organized while she tackles school from home. We looked at lots of options and when she saw this one, she was intrigued. We are happy to say that this calendar arrived well packaged and fully intact. Yes, it's pricey, but it is even more beautiful in person. It is classy and sleek and we love the smooth look of the glass, the use of grays instead of black for the lines and the texture of the gray felt pad at the bottom of the calendar. This is going to sound a little nutty, but the subtlety of the design and soothing color palette (at least for us) helps to provide a nice calming undercurrent to the purpose of a very prominent calendar - to organize, and therefore destress, the mind. It took a little bit of time to hang (maybe 20 minutes) and did require a drill and quite a bit of measuring, but in our opinion it was totally worth it. She opted not to attach the tray for the marker that was included with the calendar because it is located over her desk and she didn't want anything protruding into that space. She is thrilled to have this calendar be a focal point in her room.

Heavy, Clean Aesthetic
This board is a very nice size, it’s heavy duty(from first glance and overlook) the glass looks really nice and smooth, easy to clean. It’s comes with almost everything needed to mount securely. And I just love it!!

Wipes clean
The glass finish is so much nicer. It wipes clean use after use. The marker is clearly defined. Maybe now I can't get my life on track

Heavy duty!
This glass dry erase board arrived well packaged. I was afraid it would arrive broken but I am so thankful it did not! It is much heavier than the typical dry erase board. I have plenty of dry erase boards in my classroom; however, my students enjoy updating this calendar much better. I was able to hang this board with the help of a middle school student but it could have been hung by one person. It came with a brace for hanging, two screws, two drywall anchors, a black glass dry erase marker, and a holding tray to place markers on. The area in which it now hangs has sheetrock; however, the brace was not long enough to reach both studs. I did not feel comfortable hanging this board in the sheetrock alone because it will be used frequently and I didn’t want my rough-handed students to bring it crashing to the floor. I anchored a piece of cut wood in the studs of the wall and then anchored the board to the wood using the two screws the company supplied. It holds very well, nice and sturdy! I had to use a ¼” drill bit to drill holes in the metal brace and I also predrilled holes in the wood using a small drill bit to keep from splitting the wood. Because I used a piece of wood to anchor this board, it created a nice sized gap at the bottom of the board, which made it swing a little. A thinner piece of wood would have worked better. Since the board was able to swing, I predrilled a hole in the sheetrock at the bottom of the board, inserted a different drywall anchor that would accommodate a hook, and inserted a hook that secures the bottom of the board toward the wall. Now, there is no swinging or shifting of any kind. I am sure there was an easier way to do this, but I did what I thought was best with the tools I had on hand. I tested the board with several different dry erase markers and I must say that the U Brands glass dry erase marker worked the best. I also had a U Brands chalk marker but it didn’t erase very well so I had to use a microfiber cloth to get the smudge off. All other markers erased fairly well using a regular dry erase eraser. Because there is a thick glass between what is written on the board and the actual backdrop, a shadow is visible from certain angles that makes the context a little blurry. The blur is not major but is noticeable if you already have vision problems. This board has been a nice addition to our classroom. I will be purchasing the glass dry erase markers because they work so much better with this board and has the best visibility.

Needs sample magnets
Good:
-Looks clean and professional.
-A marker, mounting instructions and hardware is included.
-Erases well, without leaving ghost marks.
-The daily boxes are roomy enough for the date and a small note.
Bad:
-Metal frame has sharp edges.
-No magnets were included.
I ordered the U Brands Magnetic Glass Dry Erase 3-in-1 Calendar Board 17 x 23 Inches. I like that this board keeps you organized with three sections for different tasks. I didn’t like that my strongest magnets would not work. Overall, the design is impressive, but this dry erase board requires specialized magnets intended for glass boards.
