Worked great but only lasted 6 months

Bought it April 2nd 2026 and it died Oct 2nd 2026. It won't charge anymore. Yes, it was a great metronome. Many features and options. Very versatile. I used it daily. Unfortunately, a 6 month lifespan is a big downside for me.

Perfect Digital Metronome

This metronome is great for anyone practicing their instrument or needing to record on tempo. It has a range of 40–208 bpm, 10 rhythm patterns, a timer function with settings of 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, and two sound options: vocal and electronic. It's great when you want to monitor your tempo outside of your recording software our without having to use headphones. Super portable, has a long battery life, and can also be used with headphones.

Well made, great value!

This digital metronome is a fantastic practice tool. It’s sturdy and well-constructed, offering a clear human voice option that makes keeping time much more intuitive than a standard beep.

Why it’s a 5-star find:

Versatile: Great range (40-208 BPM) and 9 different rhythms.

Thoughtful Features: The headphone jack is perfect for quiet practice, and the timer helps keep sessions on track.

Simple to Use: Very user-friendly and reliable for multiple instruments.

An excellent, high-quality tool for the price. Highly recommended!

Excellent metronome for songwriting

I've been using this now for about a month and I'm loving it. I'm actually using more as a songwriting tool than for practicing, although once I've written an intricate guitar part this is great for learning to play it at a precise tempo before I do a recording. I'm using it with just an acoustic and it's more than loud enough to be heard above the guitar and my voice. Prior to this I just used my cell phone but this is much handier and doesn't tie up the phone or run down the battery. Speaking of which, I charged it with the included cable when I first got it and a month later it's still showing a full battery! Impressive. The screen shows up nicely though it's brighter to look at from below than above. When I'm writing I simply set it on a shelf next to me just above eye level and it's perfect. If there's one addition that would be nice it would be a tap tempo button. When I'm writing and inspiration hits, I don't always know the exact BPM and having to stop and keep scrolling til I get it right can take me out of the moment. Not a big deal though and certainly not something I'd deduct a star for. It has a nice quality feel to it with the fit and finish being very clean. This is a great little metronome for practicing and for me a handy songwriting tool as well. At this price I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Clear Display and Strong Click for Practice

I’ve been using this for daily guitar practice and a bit of piano work. The display is bright and easy to read from a few feet away, which helps when the metronome is sitting on a desk or amp. The tempo dial feels smooth, and adjusting BPM is quick without digging through complicated menus.

The sound is clear and strong enough to cut through acoustic guitar playing. I also tested it with headphones using the 3.5mm jack, which is useful for late night practice. The voice count feature is helpful when working on tricky rhythms, especially if you are locking in subdivisions.

Battery life has been solid so far. After a full charge, it ran through several practice sessions without needing to be plugged back in. The unit feels lightweight but not cheap, and the buttons have a decent tactile response.

One thing to note is that this is strictly a metronome. There is no tuner built in, so you will need a separate device for that.

This works well for musicians who want a straightforward digital metronome with rhythm options and a headphone jack. If you want an all in one tuner and metronome combo, this is not that. For focused timing practice, it does the job very well.

Nice shape, easy to carry and stands up on it's own

Simple and easy to both use and operate. Using this to help learn to play a guitar. Easy to switch between speeds. My spouse who plays the piano was looking at this while I was using it and liked the variety of speeds available.

Looks exactly as depicted. The color is a shiny black on the front. Sides and back are more of a matter black color. It comes with a charging cable which plugs into a USB outlet or plug.

Shape and overall look are as anticipated.

Happy with this thus far would recommend and continuing to use!

Coolest metronome ever

I actually got this as a gift for my musician boyfriend, and he absolutely loves it. He's been using it constantly to help him with songwriting and making music. It's got so many bells and whistles on it that I wouldn't even know where to start or how to use it unless he showed me.

He thinks it's the coolest thing ever, and seeing how much it helps his workflow makes it an easy five stars. The human voice feature and all the different rhythm options really set it apart from the basic ones he's used before. It's definitely a great choice if you're looking for a high-quality gift for the musician in your life.

Very compact, digital metronome, MANY options for tone/volume/tempo

We are a fairly musical family and my kiddo asked for a metronome for Christmas. We got a manual one and it works GREAT. However, seeing this digital option I had to jump at the opportunity. It's VERY simple to set up, the tempo changes with a simple spin of the large circular dial on the front; and the volume can also be modified. It can be QUITE LOUD if you want it to be!! It comes with the USC-C standard charging cord with a USB plug (you will need to provide the plug for the USB for charging). We used it for hours and the charge held up very well. I have yet to charge it and we have used it frequently. I will report back if there are any issues with it holding its charge. The video attached you can also see what the tone sounds like. I would definitely recommend this; it's not only easy to start/set up, but VERY compact and would easily fit in a musical instrument pack/bag or your purse. Very portable, easy to read digital screen, and comes with a charger. 10/10!

Rechargeable Metronome with all the Basic Metronome Features

This is a cool metronome. I love that it is rechargeable. It has all your basic metronome functions: it can click measures up to 9 counts, do standard subdivisions, as well as "speaking" the counts of the measure. It has volume control, tempo control, a timer, and can take headphones. It goes louder than most electronic metronomes I've had. The only thing I wish they had done different, given the shape of it, is to have a digital pendulum that clicked back and forth at the top to mimic the old traditional metronomes of the same shape.

Pretty cool

I don't currently play an instrument, but it is definitely on my bucket list. I had an antique metronome, but it was unreliable. This provides a uniform beat.

This arrived fully charged. It is rechargeable via USB.

It offers a huge range of rhythm and tempo options, most of which this novice does not comprehend. I do get and appreciate the distinctive ping on the final beat and the option to have a spoken call out.

This is much smaller than an old school metronome and will easily fit into a tiny music area in a busy and congested house. It will also perform reliably on a less than level service. Added bonus - you can plug in headphones. (It does not offer a blue tooth option.)

Useful device at a reasonable price.

Great way to keep time!

My father-in-law is in a band. They play all around almost every weekend. They practice during the week and had been asking around to see if anyone had a metronome so I got this for them to use.

The set comes with the digital metronome and a usb-c charging cable. Setup takes seconds. This metronome is jam packed full of features. It is digital and cordless making it extremely portable and can be moved around during practice. It had

9 rhythm patterns, 10 beats (0-9), 40–208 BPM, and timer options for 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. The screen saves power by turning off after 30 seconds and can wake instantly when you press any button. It has a standard headphone jack to plug into if you prefer. It charges very quickly and holds charge for several days.

This is a quality digital metronome that can be used with several instruments. It is versatile and jam packed with features. I highly recommend this.

A helpful metronome for violin practice.

I explain a lot of the function in my video. Note, I do not play an instrument. My daughter is learning violin. By no means are we professional and can't comment on how well this works for a professional musician. But, it is helpful for our practices.

It is simple to use and arrives fully charged. Turn it on, adjust to your tempo and rhythm and whether you want the voice on or off. I personally find the voice somewhat annoying, but I know from my daughter's lessons that they must get used to counting beats in their head, so she does find it helpful to have someone count out each beat.

As I discuss in the video, it is easy to get to where you need it go, but I do wish you had more buttons that allow you to go up and down rather than pushing the button to increase the beat or rhythm in order to cycle back to the start.

I like that it is small and does not take up much space. It is smaller than our mechanical metronome and has more options. My daughter is satisfied with using it and she is able to figure out how to adjust it herself, so my conclusion is that it will be pretty easy to operate to for most users.

The price seems reasonable ($25.99 at time of order). Not too much more than a mechanical metronome we purchased. I hope this helps you with your practice as well.

5.5" tall, rechargeable, basic features plus voice mode

Any music teacher will tell you that one of the easiest ways to improve your music playing skill is to practice with a metronome. Musicians with poor timing sound awful to even a casual audience. Modern metronomes are cheap and accurate. There are even phone apps and websites with metronome features. You have lots of choices. Here are some plusses and minuses of this product compared to the competition:

plusses:

+ rechargeable and the battery lasts for more than 10 hours

+ the display shows the battery level, so you can recharge it at the end of your practice session so it will be ready for next time

+ size is larger than many other electronic metronomes (5.5 inches tall), so the controls are easier to use and the display is easier to understand

+ volume is louder than most smaller metronomes and there is a wired headphone jack if the speaker is not loud enough

+ voice mode may be easier for beginners to understand than click-click

minuses:

- price is higher than average compared to similar metronomes

- larger size is more bulky to travel with

- features and controls are pretty basic

- metronome sound is not configurable, other than volume and voice mode

- included recharging cable is fake USB-A to USB-C; a modern USB-C to USB-C cable will not work

- even though the metronome is rechargeable, there is still a battery door that can slip off and get lost

Much more control

Years ago, when I needed a desktop metronome, I got one of those old school spring wound ones that music teachers all seem to have on the desks. It more or less wound up becoming a desk top decoration. It isn't super accurate, and there's no volume control. It was loud, which is great at times, but too loud for when I just wanted to do some quiet, unplugged guitar practice.

This new one is, unsurprisingly, a vast improvement. It looks nice, is easy to use (it even comes with an instruction manual, which I didn't need because it's very self explanatory), and it has volume control. It does use a beep rather than a clicking sound, which is a matter of preference for some. Not to me, a beat is a beat.

I realize I'm comparing it to what is essentially an anachronism, but the five stars I'm giving it aren't based on that comparison. My bar for a metronome isn't even very high; I just want it to make a steady beat and last through a practice session. This does all that, so I'm happy recommending it. I just wish I could go back in time and recommend it to a younger me.

Very Good Metronome

This arrived very well packaged and partially charged. The metronome is easy to read and rather easy to use. It has sufficient different beats and a wide range of speeds. Also, it has four different timer lengths. It can also count off beats with a human voice. It has a headphone output for silent practice. And the best part is that it's USB rechargeable. This is overall a very good metronome. And for around twenty-six dollars it is a good value for money.

Easy to use

This is easy to use and has a lot of features, but my son is working on Beethoven’s Sonata in c-minor and there does not appear to be a half note feature for his counting speed. Are we missing something?

Makes no sound

The pic shows the operating unit, but with the volume tried at every dial position it made no sound. Bought a different brand.
