Bass problem for both set of speakers

Well, It appears that this model has a defective bass. I contacted the supplier and they shipped a replacement but it also has the same weird sound like interference noise when people talk or specific scenes with deep background sound or noises. I did all troubleshooting solutions but the problem persisted. I decided to disable the bass 😓 it is not the point. The speakers sound is amazing but the bass is not working as it should, I also installed the last firmware, it did nothing. This model is an upgraded version with a bigger bass but probably the bass is not compatible. THE SAME PROBLEM FOR BOTH SET OF SPEAKERS

You need to order this right now! It’s awesome!!!

This thing is absolutely phenomenal… I have no idea why anybody would ever leave a bad review about this thing… Honestly, the ease of setup was amazing, the sound quality is absolutely phenomenal… On top of this I’m a professional DJ. I figured I would give this a shot for what we spent on it. I am insanely impressed!!! any of these bad reviews are ridiculous…. Do yourself a favor and order this thing right now.!!!!

The complete... Home Theatre Experience.

Excellent quality and very stylish. The subwoofer makes a real difference. It has many ways to connect including Bluetooth 5.3 and Digital Optical. The Apollo S50 sounds great and is worth the money.

Quality unacceptable and Hardware issues

I bought this item on 24th February 2025, but the soundbar, which has the power button, already has a weird sound coming out, today is just the 27th. I can't believe I spent $116 for this and it already has issues. The quality of the sound is good; connectivity is smooth, yet quite not impressed. I might have to return or replace it with another one. I have called the company but not available, I have scanned the barcode but doesn't get through. I have attached a video of the weird sound.

Good deal

Scooped this on a good deal and must say that this probably is the best bang for buck sound speaker with sub. Definitely packs a punch!

Small but very Powerful

This is an awesome 4.1ch home theater system with a powerful sound bar and a subwoofer. The sound bar has 4 speakers which can also be converted into 2 towers by splitting them half. The tower stands are very elegantly designed and gives a good leaning angle which improves the sound. Apart from these 2 settings, you can also mount the sound bar on the wall, either underneath the TV or as 2 of them on either sides of the TV.

It has your regular connectors such as AUX, optical and USB but the preferred method would be to do it with ARC if your TV supports that, as you can adjust the volume of the sound bar with the TVs remote itself. The cables that run between the sound bars or from the subwoofer to the sound bar is long enough to keep it in your desired position.

The sound was surprisingly very good. Honestly, I did not expect it to perform to this level. The clarity and crispness made it sounded like a branded one. There are a bunch of settings that you can adjust with the remote that comes with it, along with 5 adjustable bass levels on the subwoofer, which by the way takes bass to a whole new level.

It also has Bluetooth 5.3 so that you can connect your phone and play music directly from the phone. This system is not just compatible with your TV, it can be setup with your PC for an awesome gaming experience as well. Overall, this was a great product which gives an immense sound experience. Highly recommended.

Perfect for Drum Kit! 🥁

I am so elated with this soundbar. I really needed something to use with my drum kit while practicing. I would watch the videos with my online lessons or a company songs with my laptop but the laptop speaker was, shall we say, pretty pathetic and it was difficult to hear while practicing.

This soundbar perfectly goes with my laptop either via Bluetooth or with an auxiliary wire that I got, which is actually easier.

The sound is quite good and perfect for what I need. It is compact and doesn't take up a whole lot of space. I also like that it comes with a subwoofer. For the price, I think it's a really good value.

Lots to LIke

Sound bars to replace the tiny, tinny speakers that come in flat screen TV's have become essential for most viewer-listeners. They improve the sound for TVs that are not part of a "home theater" set-up, and for which it's convenient to place a speaker system in the shape of a "bar" under the TV. This item is a good sounding bar, with clear and crisp sound regardless of the volume level and complexity of the material. Plus, it has several features that give you more flexibility in how you use it.

Likes:

~~comes in two sections that can be locked together to make one continuous horizontal bar (the usual configuration), or separated into two vertical speakers if that better fits your room (see pics)

~~is Bluetooth-enabled so you can stream content to it from your phone, laptop, etc. (haven't tried this yet)

~~has a separate (wired) subwoofer instead of trying to squeeze bass from the sound bar, which doesn't have enough physical space for larger speakers; when it comes to bass speakers, size does matter

~~the amount of bass from the subwoofer is adjustable from default "0" amount to "bass +1" and three levels of less bass (-1, -2, -3); this turns out to be an important feature because relatively inexpensive subwoofers frequently produce a booming or muddied bass, so you can moderate the effect to suit your listening environment. The amount of bass will also depend on the space around the speaker.

~~impressive design and quality of construction; assembly tolerances are tight and secure

~~the remote is well designed and easy to use; confirmation of changes show up with LEDs in one of the speakers, and the lights go off between commands

~~all cables potentially needed for your set-up are provided, including HDMI ARC, fiber-optic, and RCA

~~the user manual has the right amount of detail and the English is written by someone with English as their primary language; a QR code is provided to access an online video tutorial

Dislikes:

~~you must choose between one of three sound equalization profiles labelled, Music, Game, or Movie. Most likely the Movie profile enhances mid-range frequencies to help make dialogue comprehensible against background music and sound effects; Game provides bass boost to enhance sound effects; and Music is either "flat" or has slightly elevated bass and treble. Usually I don't like to be limited so much regarding adjusting the sound equalization, but that applies more to listening to music than watching TV or movies. So far I've found that one of the three settings, regardless of its title, used in combination with adjusting the bass response at the same time, works well enough for me. I realize having the option to adjust the sound to fit the source probably isn't that important to most people, but just in case...

~~little or no audio technical specifications

I haven't done comparison shopping so can't speak to retail value.

We will never go back to listening to our TV speakers

It’s one of those items that you don’t know that you need till you have it set up. It was extremely easy to plug in from the eArc on the TV directly into the eArc on the back of the speaker. The provided sub just rounded out the sound profile and sound amazing for movies. I wanted to play some music and or a movie, but There are copyright issues.

All of our TVs are within 4 to 5 years old so they all have an option to use the HDMI cable directly into the eArc But it’s nice to know if we didn’t we could still connect it and it would sound great through the optical. This was a great purchase.

Split Unit with Poor Signal Transfer

So the first thing you have to realize is that this is not exactly a single soundbar. It's actually TWO soundbars, which can be connected together to LOOK like a single soundbar, or can be mounted separately (and vertically) on a stand, to be more like "tower" speakers. I suppose this is an advantage, in the sense that you have more flexibility than with a soundbar that's just a soundbar.

In terms of the sound input, one half of the soundbar connects to the TV or other sounds source. The 2nd half connects to the first half. And this is where the problem arises. The half that connects to the TV can connect via HDMI (cable included), optical (cable included) or, if your TV supports it, Bluetooth (no cable required). (I also tried connecting this to my phone via Bluetooth.) The SECOND half of the soundbar connects to the first half, but ONLY via old-fashioned RCA plugs -- red and white. (Typically, when using RCA plugs, the Red connector is for the Right audio channel and the White connector is for the Left audio channel, but technically, which one you use for which channel doesn't really matter.) The fact that there's BOTH a red and white connector between the 2 halves of the soundbar suggests to me that EACH half has BOTH left and right channels! But, if true, that would lead to poor sound separation. Isn't that the whole point of having 2 separate speakers -- one to the left of you and one to the right of you? You wouldn't want both channels coming out of both speakers. You'd want the LEFT channel coming out of the LEFT speaker and the RIGHT channel coming out of the RIGHT speaker.

They provide 2 different RCA "patch" cables to connect the 2 halves -- a short one (if the 2 halves are connected to each other) and a longer one, if the 2 halves are separated. So far, so good.

The problem is that RCA plugs, which have been around forever, and are analog, are considered to be the last/poorest choice for carrying audio signals. HDMI and Optical are both digital, and are felt to result in much higher sound quality. So let's assume that you connect your TV (or other source) to the 1st half of the soundbar via HDMI or optical cable. That 1st half of the soundbar will hopefully have great sound -- or, at least, the POTENTIAL for great sounds, because it will have gotten a high quality audio signal from the source. But if the 1st half of the sound bar is only able to transmit data to the 2nd half of the soundbar via klunky, old, analog RCA plugs, the potential for great sound in that half of the soundbar is probably not there!

If this sound bar was super cheap (say, well under $100), I'd say "OK, you get what you pay for" and I'd accept the lesser sound quality. But at close to $200, I don't consider this acceptable! There definitely needs to be clear physical separation between the left and right audio channels, and there also needs to be a way to get high-quality signal data from one half of the soundbar to the other.

For these reasons, I would not recommend this item.
