Made a huge difference in my tv viewing experience!! I’ve never had a soundbar before so I have no other soundbars to compare this to, but all I know is compared to my regular tv sound, this made a HUGE difference in sound for me. I placed the soundbar behind my tv, and the subwoofer on my tv stand off of the carpet to not create any muffling and I love the setup. Set up was simple, took maybe 5 minutes. The soundbar immediately paired with my tv and bluetooth set up through the app was simple as well. I’ve also read some reviews that think the remote is over complicated but I actually appreciate all of the additional options and look forward to playing around with them. Oh and best of all, I got this on sale for $50 refurbished directly from the Ultimea website!!! Literally could not have asked for a better deal. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I’ve only had it for a few days so I want to have it for longer before giving it a full 5 star rating. If you’re thinking about getting it, DO IT!

Exceeded almost all of my expections.
Surprisingly great s oundbar. Especially for a budgeted price. I'm using it in a 15x15 bedroom. Plenty of power/volume! Good voice presentation in loud scenes or quiet speaking. The sound is very cinematic. If your looking for real good 3D sound, the side firing drivers don't give much effect. But the sound quality is so good that doesn't bother me. I'd challenge anyone to find a better soundbar for the money. I highly recommend it!

Crystal-clear dialogue and booming bass
I am so happy with my purchase! Ultimea Poseidon D60 is an incredible buget friendly surround system .
It delivers true, immersive 5.1 surround sound that completely transforms your audio experience. The dialogue is crystal clear, and no distortion on the the bass.
Vizio owners take note ....The initial setup with my Vizio TV was a little tricky using the eARC connection . The TV wouldn't let the soundbar to take over the internal speakers. I had to hard reset the tv, and make some changes in the Audio meniu of the TV to get them connected.

Read it before you buy it!!!
I’m gonna start with pros:
It’s comes in compact box, set up and connection was easy and it has pretty good and clear sound for the price. I was happy with my purchase until subwoofer stopped working and it happened in a 3 weeks. I rarely listen to it over 25% of volume coz even that was more than enough for my apartment. I tried to reset and reconnect it, even unplugged it over night but nothing helped. I was trying to reach out Ultimea support team for a two days but no one was answering there and no call backs of corse. Currently I’m in touch with them and let’s see how they gonna handle it. Gonna keep it updated.

Best sound system for your tv
If you want to upgrade the sound on your tv and not spend an arm and a leg this is the system for you. The sound is amazing and I love that the subwoofer is small but still packs a punch. I listen to a lot of music on my tv through YouTube and I love the sound it provides. I also love the fact that you can control the speaker through your phone via Bluetooth. Best purchase ever!

Works Seamlessly With Roku TV and Roku Remote
This Ultimea 5.1 Poseidon M60 sound bar, with its small wired subwoofer, is surprisingly effective.
For our spare bedroom, the 55" Roku TV works great. But its rear-firing speaker is somewhat muffled, particularly with dialog. And, of course, no deep bass.
I want an integrated front-firing audio system that turns on seamlessly with the TV, and is controlled by the Roku TV's standard remote.
Setup:
The sound bar comes in two pieces. You twist-lock the two halves together to create a unitary 31" long by 2-3/4" high front-firing bar with multiple tweeters in it. (Small brackets and screws are included if you want to hang the bar on the wall. Mine is sitting under the TV on top of a bureau.) Includes an HDMI cable. Attach the HDMI cable to the HDMI socket on the sound bar, then to the E-ARC HDMI input (ARC= Audio Return Channel) on the Roku TV. Attach the subwoofer to the sound bar via its RCA plug and ~2-meter cable -- no separate subwoofer power is needed. Plug the wall wart for the sound bar into the wall outlet for AC power. Done.
The sound bar now turns on when you turn on the TV. The Roku remote now controls volume and mute. You might want to go into the Roku TV's Settings under Audio, but honestly, the Roku recognized the sound bar and the sound bar recognized the TV and its remote immediately. Amazing.
The M60 comes with its own remote that needs two AAA batteries (not included) but you can also download the ULTIMEA app for your phone, that wirelessly controls various EQ settings. I didn't even put batteries into the Sound Bar's remote. And once it's set the way you want, there's no need to fiddle with it. I stored the Poseidon's remote away. No more multiple remotes!
I experimented with positioning the down-firing, ported subwoofer, which usually is most effective firing toward a corner of the room. At first I put it up high behind the TV, but then placed it on a carpeted floor and thought it would not work that well, but it adds a ton of bass.
To be honest, this little sound bar and its subwoofer are not nearly has precise as a dedicated Sony 7.1 amp, 7 separate high quality speakers and a powered dedicated subwoofer. But come on -- the sound bar is $170 versus thousands for a home theater setup.
For that money, in a spare bedroom, the Poseidon M60 is more than sufficient. It actually does a pretty decent job of throwing surround sound, considering the surround speakers are in the front and bounce the rear channels off the walls.
You want to spend more, go ahead, but this sound bar added the dialog clarity and the thumping subwoofer that really upgraded a bedroom TV. It set up and integrated easily and is controlled by the Roku remote. It turns itself on and off with the TV. It's simple and intuitive to operate, so guests can watch TV if they want.
I tested it watching streaming HDR multi-channel movies like Jumanji (great subwoofer test with the drums) and Fifth Element, which has an interesting, complex sound track, and also streaming TV shows. Best part is the dialog is much clearer. The sub adds depth.
Is the Poseidon M60 a sophisticated, precise surround sound experience? No. But it does fill the bedroom with clear vocals and a sorta full frequency sound track.
It sets up easily and fast, has all kinds of EQ adjustment if you're into that, various presets that actually sound different, and enough power to fill the room.
After its first day, I am initially very pleased.

I never give 5 stars for anything. For theater sound i have always gone with Bose or Denon back when they were known for having quality sound processors. I am ver glad i gave this setup a chance! It is easily as good if not better than any $300-$500 setup i have heard or seen. I figured i would still want to upgrade this system once i had more monsy saved up, but i dont think so now. It is true 5.1 audio. Movies sound absolutely amazing. I love that you can use the equilizer to customize the bass/lows/mids, trebble/highs, balance fade, sourround, etc. My cabinent i have the sub in is basically a ported enclosure around the sub which does help it quite a bit, but it still sounds impressive out on its own.

Sound bar great. Could be louder for those who like it LOUD LOUD. Bass is OK, can feel it a small bit on a couch 10 feet away. Great home audio system. My personal preference is it could be better, but fantastic for the price. Good job
For the pic, the sub is stored in the tv stand behind the glass. Solid red oak, made it ALOT more bassey.

Solid, but with issues
Overall a good soundbar. If you’re looking to simply enhance your tv listening experience this a solid cheap start. Dialogue is clear.
If you are expecting to play music with nice bass off YouTube or Spotify, this is not the one. The bass is incredibly weak. I had an Apollo s60 before this that blew the bass out of the room compared to this. Additionally, the sub was missing a rubber foot so it wouldn’t stay balanced and getting that replaced would take too long.
Only other gripe is the auto turn off function. It shuts off after 10-15 minutes. I’m all about conserving energy, but come on.
Due to this, I returned the product.

Well worth it. Would buy again.
Sound is GREAT. Remote comes with options to tweak the sound profile to your personal preference. The sound is very full, clear, and has luscious bass. I was delightfully surprised for the price point! It connected easily and worked straight out of the box with our Roku TV. We have had the system for about 9 months now and still love it. Im not sure why this is marketed as surround sound, it’s not. It’s a sound bar with subwoofer, but the sound is great.
One complaint is that it shuts off if the TV idles for a while, and requires fully turning the tv off and on again to get it to sync again. This is only a problem if you paused in the middle of a show, but is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Would definitely purchase again.

Simply fantastic
This soundbar is head and shoulders above my last soundbar from TCL, which I already thought sounded pretty good. It gets significantly louder even at comparable volume settings on my TV.
The preset EQs are almost perfect and allow me to quickly switch between modes when watching music videos or podcasts on YouTube. The Voice preset is a game changer for me since I have some hearing loss in the midrange where speech lives.
The remote has dedicated buttons for nearly everything so it is super quick to change on the fly without fiddling around with bass, mid and treble sliders, but those are included as well, no menu diving. Bass, Mid and Treble level controls right at your fingertips. There's even a dedicated EQ reset button. Very cool. There's an upmix function as well that automatically turns a 2.0 signal into 5.1. And to top it all off, you can also adjust the surround level to your liking. The upmix feature works to great effect considering that all the speakers are in front of you. I'm quite impressed and this is coming from a 25 year veteran in audio engineering.
Then there's the app. The app lets you do everything the remote does and then some, including firmware updates over Bluetooth and manage multiple devices.
I honestly didn't expect all this for the price I paid. This soundbar has far exceeded my expectations. I want another for my bedroom now...

TheAn absolute steal for anyone looking to replace TV speakers wit
Frequently priced under $150, this compact sound system brings genuine Dolby Atmos decoding and a wide, immersive virtual soundstage to a tier of the market usually limited to basic stereo audio. Its biggest strength is dialogue clarity; thanks to custom VoiceMX technology, vocals stay crisp and distinct even during loud action sequences. Additionally, the excellent companion mobile app grants budget-conscious users a level of fine-tuning rarely seen at this price point, featuring a full 10-band graphic equalizer and 121 preset profiles. The only notable trade-offs are its wired subwoofer connection and a physical size that naturally lacks the deepest, room-shaking sub-bass rumble of high-end setups. However, for small-to-medium living rooms, apartments, or gaming setups, the Poseidon M60 offers unbeatable cinematic value, punching well above its price tag. It was easy to install too. Works smoothly with tv.

Small Soundbar Makes a Huge Difference in Enjoying TV
My husband and I are movie buffs, and we've had a surround setup for decades and have loved it, but it is no longer turning on.
I have recently had to have the captions on while watching a movie or TV show, so when my husband and I saw a YouTube review stating that with the Poseidon M60 captions were no longer necessary, we decided to give it a try. One of the best decisions we've made when it comes to our home theater. Not only are the voices clear, the sound is fantastic when watching a movie such as Interstellar. The setup is super easy and I love that it shipped in a small box. I would make this purchase all over again, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Disappointed
I am disappointed with the sound quality of this Poseidon M60 system. Based on the reviews I expected better. This review is in no way a bash on Utlimea or there products. They have some of the best customer service I have ever had and helped me to troubleshoot, then replace my other Ultimea speaker, the Poseidon M20 Pro when it stopped working properly.
To me the sound quality is less than my Poseidon M20 Pro. We got a bigger TV so naturally I wanted to upgrade my sound bar and chose the M60 system. I cannot upload a video of both as it only lets me upload one per review. but I did a side by side comparison on the same settings and the M60 in my opinion is not better than the M20. In fact, the voice clarity and "fill the room sound" was better on the smaller and cheaper M20. The bass I hoped for was not there in the M60. I obviously was not expecting booming bass for the price point of this system, but with a stand alone sub woofer I hoped it would be a big difference over the smaller M20 with no stand alone sub woofer. The difference was minor at best. At first I had the sub woofer on carpet and assumed the carpet was absorbing the bass too much so I moved it onto the table, but there was not a big improvement.
The video shown is of this M60 speaker system and a song on pandora from Taylor Swift that happened to be playing at the time. If I can somehow add the other video as a comment showing the M20 sound from the same song with the same settings I will.
I unfortunately will be returning this M60 speaker system and either continue using my M20 or look at another option.

Completely fills the room — an incredible value for the price!
I’ve been using the Ultimea Poseidon M60 since the beginning of April (it’s now mid-June), and I don't have a single complaint. My previous setup was a soundbar with a wireless subwoofer and two wireless plug-in surround speakers, but this Ultimea system performs noticeably better at actually filling the room with immersive sound. The Dolby Atmos makes a huge difference!
As you can see in my attached photo, I didn't even need to wall-mount it. The soundbar has a low profile, so it sits right on the console without blocking the bottom of my TV screen at all, even when viewing from a lower angle! I was also able to tuck the subwoofer neatly right into one of the lower shelves of my TV stand, which keeps the setup looking incredibly clean.
I have it paired with a TCL TV, but I mostly use my Google Chromecast, and the setup was seamless and perfectly compatible. Hooking it up through HDMI ARC works perfectly, making it incredibly easy to control everything with one remote. The Ultimea app is also a really nice touch—it’s intuitive and lets you easily tweak the EQ. The VoiceMX feature is great for making dialogue crystal clear, and the BassMX gives the subwoofer a really satisfying punch for a 300W system.
Bottom line: for the price, this is an absolute steal. Highly recommended if you want premium home theater sound on a budget.

Amazing soundbar for an amazing price 👍
I’m honestly blown away by the ULTIMEA 5.1 Sound Bar. For the price, this system sounds way more premium than I expected. The Dolby Atmos effect makes movies, gaming, and music feel incredibly immersive, and the subwoofer hits deep with strong bass without sounding muddy.
The VoiceMX feature is one of my favorite parts because dialogue finally sounds clear during movies and shows — no more constantly changing the volume during action scenes. BassMX also adds a powerful cinematic feel that makes explosions, music, and games sound amazing.
Setup was super easy and only took a few minutes. The app control is actually useful too, especially with all the EQ presets and customization options. Bluetooth connection is fast and stable, and the overall build quality feels sleek and modern.
Gaming on this soundbar is insane. Footsteps, background sounds, and directional audio feel much more realistic compared to regular TV speakers. Watching movies feels like having a mini home theater in my room.
If you want a powerful surround sound system without spending hundreds more on expensive brands, this is definitely worth it. ULTIMEA did an amazing job balancing sound quality, features, and price. Highly recommend for movies, gaming, and music lovers.

The BUDGET home theater system with an EXPENSIVE flair.
Covers all the bases for this audiophile. I grew up in the 80"s where a standalone stereo was typical for most households. As I got older the stereo slowly faded out of existence due to the creation of personal mp3 players and cell phones with streaming apps. While I've had small BT speakers and ear buds, my most fulfilling audio piece was an old Phillips soundbar bought several years ago. It had no BT capability and its highest value was an optical audio input.
I had been getting by with this setup of playing my Spotify through an app on my smart tv that was connected to this old soundbar. It was decent but it definitely was lacking for a true audiophile.
Fast forward to last weekend and I had had enough of not being able to "experience" my music. It had everything needed for a budget shopper like myself. BUT, it's far more than a budget item. It also checked all the boxes for the audiophile in me. BT capable so I can connect my phone, HDMI eARC input from TV and sound aspect control via the standard bass, midrange and treble adjustments on the remote. BUT, there's more! This HOME THEATER also has an app that accompanies the very capable 5.1 speaker system. In this app there are several more sound control adjustments that can be made. There is an EQ for precise adjustments and the ability to save adjustments as a sound style of your choice. The remote control has basic sound style choices that are preset such as music, movie, and sports. While the subwoofer is not BT it was not a deal breaker and I still love this unit. When I received it yesterday I immediately reverted back into the annoying teenage traits of JAMMING OUT! I've always lived by the saying, "If it's too loud, you're too old." The sound clarity and volume level capability of this unit had restored the life of the home audio system I knew from years past. And while I know that it's main purpose of use is not as a home audio system, it satisfies that role PERFECTLY! Oh yeah, it's also an AMAZING home theater system that makes movies feel like your in the actual theater. To say the least, I am EXTREMELY pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants more for their movie experience at home. Or if you're like me, you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone and use it for all your audio needs. Bottom line.....BUY IT! You won't regret it. 👍💯

Budget Soundbar - Decent Performance
This is a budget soundbar, do not expect mind blowing audio performance out of this thing.
I installed this sound bar in a budget home theater room connecting it to a smart projector using Bluetooth. Installing is extremely easy. The sound bar comes in 2 separate pieces, connect the 2 pieces together and plug in the power cord. The subwoofer uses a RCA cable that plugs into the sound bar. There are multiple connections for an audio source including Bluetooth.
There are plenty of options to adjust such as Treble, Mid and Bass. You can have an audio source hooked up to the sound bar and still control the audio settings and volume through the smartphone app via Bluetooth. Or you can use the included remote.
Audio performance is GOOD for the price point. The soundbar itself works great and gives so much more sound and movie experience than any built-in speakers on a TV or projector can offer. The subwoofer is definitely lacking for anyone who likes more BOOM. However, if you unplug the subwoofer during a movie or video, you will see although "WEAK" it still provides enough bass to notice a difference. This soundbar is an extremely good value for anyone who wants more sound and can accept only a little amount of bass.

Easy to set up, great sound, and a real bargain
My wife and I are seniors who sometimes have trouble hearing the dialogue while watching TV shows and movies. Some years ago we bought a device that boosted the dialogue as promised, but at the expense of the rest of the sound tracks. Music, especially was muted, which really dampened our enjoyment of movie musicals.
Finally, it was apparent that we were ready for newer technology. Prior to making a purchase I read dozens of reviews, watched quite a few Youtube videos, and even used ChatGPT for advice and side by side comparisons of multiple products. After all that, factoring in our budget as well as the features, I settled on the Ultimea 5.1 Channel Surround Sound Bar with Subwoofer. It had so much more than I expected, and the price didn't bust the bank.
Even for this old guy, assembly and setup were easy. I just put together the two speakers, plugged the subwoofer into it, plugged the HDMI cable into the ARC port of my television, plugged in the power pack, and I was ready to go.
We have an older Sony Bravia television, and I did need to tweak a few settings in the AV area before I got any sound. That only took a minute to locate and adjust. Then I picked a movie online that had both songs and a lot of dialogue to really see if this sound bar could deliver what I was looking for.
I was not disappointed. The dialogue came in crisp and easy to understand, and to be honest, was clearer than our previous sound bar system that was designed primarily to boost dialogue. Other things I liked were the fact that the subwoofer didn't overpower the room. I've had home theater systems and found I had to really turn down the subwoofers because the entire household could feel the bass when it came on. I wanted something a little more subtle, and that's what I got.
Now I should mention that the Ultimea sound bar has plenty of power, 300 watts worth, but I don't need all of that, at least not unless I decide to throw a dance party. For watching TV it's perfect. Another thing I like is that it comes with lots of pre-sets, but also an equalizer that you can use to fine tune each preset according to your own tastes. While I was watching the movie to test it, I gave it a little more bass, and boosted the mid-range a little, and it was exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be more pleased.
Because of the size of my TV's base, I had to elevate it the TV so the new soundbar didn't block the spot where the TV read the remote's signal. Ironically, I'm using the old dialogue enhancing console as a riser. My TV is on a narrow buffet, so in order to have room for the cables in the back of the ULTIMEA sound bar, I had to set it up a little to the right of the old console. However, that didn't affect the great sound produced by the new sound bar, so I'm happy.
I did install the app, and plan on exploring all of the other capabilities of this device, including the Bluetooth. I'm going to play music from my phone, and I know from the documentation, I can pull up a visual equalizer if I want to tweak the sound even more.
I readily give it 5 stars for quality, ease of set up, bargain price, and performance.

Completely Transformed My Home Audio Experience
The Ultimea Poseidon M60 absolutely blew me away. From the moment I set it up, the difference was night and day compared to my TV speakers. Installation was quick and straightforward, and within minutes I had a full, immersive sound experience in my living room.
Dialogue is crisp and easy to understand, even during action-heavy scenes. The subwoofer delivers deep, clean bass that adds real impact without overwhelming the rest of the audio, and the surround speakers genuinely pull you into whatever you’re watching. Movies feel cinematic, shows are more engaging, and even regular TV sounds richer and more dynamic.
What impressed me most is how balanced everything feels. nothing sounds muddy, distorted, or artificial. Whether I’m watching films, streaming shows, or listening to music, the soundstage feels wide, detailed, and immersive.
The Poseidon M60 didn’t just improve my audio, it completely changed how I experience entertainment at home. If you’re looking for a sound system that delivers clarity, depth, and true surround immersion, this one is outstanding.

Surprisingly capable Atmos sound bar with easy setup and room-filling sound
I’ve been using this 5.1‑channel sound bar with subwoofer for a few weeks now, and it’s turned out to be a solid little upgrade that punches above its price. I’d never tried anything from this brand before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but for everyday TV, movies, and casual music, it delivers a much more immersive and fuller sound than standard TV speakers and quite a few basic bars I’ve heard.
What really makes it stand out is how simple it is to get going. The bar and wired sub plug in, you run a single HDMI eARC cable to the TV, and you’re basically set. It syncs with the TV cleanly, and being able to use the TV remote for volume keeps the whole setup feeling clean and user‑friendly. Bluetooth pairing is quick and stable as well, so streaming from a phone or tablet is no hassle.
For sound, it does a nice job of balancing clarity and impact. Dialogue is generally easy to follow, even when there’s a lot going on in the background, so you don’t have to constantly rewind to catch what someone said. The subwoofer isn’t a monster, but it adds enough weight and punch to movies and games that explosions, music, and low‑end effects feel much more alive compared to a typical TV or slim bar with no sub. It’s a good match for a bedroom or medium‑sized living room where you want more “movie night” energy without going full receiver-and-speaker setup.
The Atmos and virtual surround effects are not going to fool serious home theater enthusiasts into thinking they’ve got speakers behind them, but the soundstage is definitely wider than a basic bar. You do get a noticeable sense of sound spreading out to the sides instead of everything being locked to the middle of the screen, which makes action scenes, sports, and even busy TV shows feel more engaging.
One of the nicer surprises is the amount of control you get. Through the app, you can tweak a 10‑band EQ, adjust surround levels, and switch between presets for movies, music, voice, gaming, and more. If you like to dial in your sound a bit, there’s enough flexibility here to shape it to your room and taste without getting overly complicated. If you don’t want to mess with any of that, the presets are good enough for just leaving it on and enjoying.
Build quality is pretty respectable for the price. The bar is slim and low‑profile, so it tucks under most TVs without blocking the screen, and the sub is compact enough to hide off to the side while still doing its job. It looks clean and modern, not flashy or cheap, and it’s light enough that wall mounting is very doable.
Overall, this is a strong option if you’re upgrading from TV speakers or an older basic sound bar and want something that adds real impact, clearer dialogue, and a taste of Atmos without spending a fortune or filling your room with gear. It’s straightforward to use, has more tuning options than most budget bars, and brings a noticeable step up in immersion for movie nights, streaming, and casual listening.

This is it!
If you're looking for a new sound bar, you've found it.
I had issues with my JBL and needed a new sound bar. I traditionally only buy JBL, but after issues with the last one I wanted to try something new. I found this one and honestly disregarded it because I've never heard of ULTIMEA. I spent a day looking through options and constantly kept landing on the page for this sound bar.
I was willing to spend upwards of $200, and this one being half that was a red flag, but every page kept giving it great reviews. I ended up pulling the trigger and it arrived the other night. The subwoofer was significantly smaller than my old one, wired, and not self powered so that was a concern. The sound bar comes in 2 pieces and clicks together. Everything was a continued red flag. I had zero faith in this thing.
I plugged it in, threw on an Atmos movie, and yeah every concern I had was gone. This thing is loud, CRYSTAL clear, and I've heard bass I don't think I've ever heard before. I literally built a home theater in my basement with a Pioneer 5.1 Atmos system and this thing nearly rivals it. Literally home theater quality sounds from my living room sound bar.
Despite being 5 speakers in 1 sound bar you can actually hear the surround separation. While you may not get background sounds behind you, you will still get a full immersive sound.
The app is convenient to use, the sound leveling options are robust, and everything was just seamless plug and play.
I have a few feedback pieces, I would put the bar at 4.5 stars if I could, but I couldn't justify dropping such a great product down to 4 stars over little things.
I am concerned about the small wall mount screw holes. I bet they would support it, but the size and design gives me hesitation.
The auto standby turns the unit off, and it will not wake up with eARC. If you are going to use the sound bar for eARC just turn standby off in the app.
Also if you install it and feel things sound off try turning off XUPMIX. Some things sound better with it, but I feel most content doesn't and honestly this thing is so rich and full sounding without it.

Mindblowing 5.1 Dolby Atmos "Budget" Soundbar
I was not familiar with the brand Ultimea so I relied heavily on reading the reviews and now I'm definitely aware of Ultimea.
Realistically, this M60 5.1 Dolby Atmos soundbar can't compete with true 5.1 systems or much more expensive systems but I would guess that this "budget" soundbar would more than impress 90% of the general public.
The Poseidon M60 is an incredible 5.1 Dolby Atmos soundbar at a phenomenal price given how well it performs in ALL content whether it's Dolby Atmos, music, movies, sports, etc. I found this soundbar does exceptionally well with movies and music.
I was looking for a 5.1 system to take full advantage of my new LG C5 OLED TV but I wasn't sure if I wanted rear satellites with wires all over the place. I know there's BT soundbars but it's always been hit and miss for me with connectivity and sound/lip syncing issues so I wanted a hardwired system.
So when I came across the M60 I liked the compact set up of the 5 drivers built into the soundbar and a hardwired subwoofer which would make for a clean and easy install and give me 5.1 Dolby Atmos. It's not true 5.1 Surround Sound since you don't have rear satellites but the soundbar does give you a real sense of sound coming from the sides instead of just in front of you.
I'm very impressed with how well the center channel does at handling the voice/vocals. It's clear and precise that you catch everything that's said because at least for me and my set up the vocals sit on top of everything else rather than being buried underneath the bass or treble. And the subwoofer for a 5.1 Dolby Atmos system under a $100 is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and adds a nice punch and dimension to your content that is strong but doesn't drown out everything else. The mids and highs are quite crisp and sharp without being screechy even when I turn the treble all the way up to 6 in any of the "default" settings on the remote like movie, music, voice, etc.
Now if you set a custom EQ setting in the app you shouldn't use the remote to turn the bass, treble, or mid range up and down. Doing that will revert you back to the "default" setting which will take you out of your personal EQ setting you set. You can however still adjust the "surround" and "xupmix" and keep your personal EQ setting.
My preferred EQ setting in the app is "customize" and leaving my EQ flat (which is how I use most things with an EQ since that gives you the most accurate sound intended by the sound engineer, producer, singer, director, etc.). Plus I don't want to have to fuss with the EQ every time I change content (music, movies, streaming, etc.) and I feel that flat is the best all around setting for me. And I've played around with the "style" setting in the app which is mainly used for music but I just leave it dead center. Go ahead and play around and find what EQ setting works for you and the specific content you enjoy.
There are preset EQ settings on the remote and in the app for movies, music, voice, sport, gaming, and night and I have to say they actually do a good job of changing the sound profile that there's a clear difference between them all.
And the M60 really does give me Dolby Atmos/5.1 on Netflix, Disney, HBO Max, etc. (may need premium subscriptions to get Dolby Atmos).
I'm so impressed with this "budget" soundbar that I've ordered a second one for my new TCL QM8K and I can't wait for it to arrive.

The Holy Grail in achieving affordable desktop pc home theater Dolby Atmos sound experience!
I ordered this as a birthday gift to myself, thinking it’d be a nice present to self without spending an arm and a leg, but if it were to disappoint, at least I didn’t spend too much on myself. Upon receiving it on a quick prime delivery, I connected it to my PC and used the eARC feature to return Dolby Atmos sounds from my PC. I didn’t want to spend $15 on a Dolby Atmos digital license for my windows pro 11 set up. I had a lot of trouble getting Dolby Atmos to work on windows 10 & 11 before, spending endless hours over the years tinkering without much success. I worried that the $15 license could fail me and there’d be no recourse in getting a refund should it fail to work. So I took the plunge and ordered this soundbar due to its eARC, Dolby Atmos, and 5.1 ch sub-woofer features for so little upfront cost. I spent only $70.71 in total for this - $129.99-$31.2 promotion, and $36.85 from reward points. Upon turning it on for the first time, I was amazed at how powerful this soundbar is. I had to keep my volume level at 6 -10 out of 100, to keep it from hurting my ears. I'm have it set up with my desktop PC in front of an ultrawide Dell S3422DWG curved monitor. The fidelity is great, no clipped sound and clarity is respectable too. The included a remote control has so many buttons that it feels overwhelming at first, but I got to appreciate their convenience once I got acquainted with the button locations. It has rocker bars for surround, prompt tone, equaliser adjustments for bass, mid-range, and treble in 13 steps, from -6 to +6, dedicated buttons for quick mode switching for movie, music, voice, sport, game, and night modes. It also has dedicated buttons for inputs: eARC, optical, Bluetooth, usb (playback directly from usb drive) and usb repeat, as well as a source button for cycling thought different inputs. In addition, it has a play/pause, column up/down and previous/next center cross rocker in the center for convenient access. Lastly, the remote has separate buttons for mute, led dimmer, EQ reset, and XUPMIX (Xurround UPMIX) to toggle virtual surround sound up-mixing. The default for xupmix is off for music, but on for the other five modes. Overall, I’m very satisfied for all the bells and whistles this soundbar offers because it not only is powerful, clear, and high quality unsound fidelity, but the sound stage is amazing and wide when in Atmos mode. Often, Netflix contents came alive in the front, around and behind you. Battlefields come alive as if you’re in the middle of it (example: all quiet in the western front’s opening scene’s in the battlefield) feeling the visceral dangers of wars as if you were in it! This is experience is precisely what I’ve been looking for since the 90s - a home-theater sound setup using a PC, without breaking the bank - and ULTIMEA M60 clearly delivered, with flying ‘colors’ of sounds, if you can imagine it in synesthesia!
