Works great 40 miles out.

I'm 40 miles from CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox's antennas, I get a great signal from all 4.

Excellent at 35 miles.

Antenna is exceent for my use. I could only get 8 channels on rabbit ears. This antenna is mounted to the soffit on my garage. I now get 40 channels, which is way more than I watch in the garage. I do get weather and NFL games. I am about 35 miles from transmitters.

compass app tn best antenna location is this can pinpoint the best position

had 20 or 30 channels with my old HD antenna and now I have 42 The picture is much cleaner and clearer and there's less interference from rain and wind I'm impressed this item is only like a foot long however and some assembly is required difficulty level is like three or four if you not used to put anything together. I'm in Columbus Ohio so your results may be better or worse depending on your location I did use the app in the picture with the compass to determine the best position just look up best position for an HD antenna for your area after I adjusted it my head for or 4 or more channels. however the small bracket inclement will not fit around two or three inch pole which I was surprised about mounted on the roof but can be mounted in the attic. can't go wrong with the price I'm impressed

Great antenna!! Great price!

This is a great antenna!! i needed something for the bedroom and this is it, its mounted outside on the corner of my house about 15 feet off the ground and pointed west, the included mast is useful allowing you to rotate it for the best reception, my local stations are to my west about 35 miles away, and i picked up 46 channels, !!! i had no idea there was that many, my old antenna was lucky to pull in 25 and it was an amplified antenna, so for me, its a win!!! no amplifier in my setup with this antenna

Great Antenna for the price!

Love this antenna!

I live 10 miles outside Portland, OR and bought this about 2 years agio and mounted inside my attic.

Drilled a hole through outside wall to run cable down to the cable/internet box. I clamped cable to wall so its tight and put the slack coiled in the attic next to antenna.

I get CBS, NBC, CBS, Fox and all the Public access plus all the shopping and all the local rerun channels.

I used to have the flat antenna on my window but you had a cable hanging in the living room and only got NBS and FOX for Sunday and Sunday night football!

Very happy with this and it works flawless.

I do have it facing the tv broadcast Antennas of the city so that really helps as well.

Many more channels with this antenna!

We have an outdoor TV mounted on a tv mount. I had a rabbit antenna mounted on the tv mount had maybe 8 channels and you would have to move the antenna to get a picture on what channel you were watching. With this antenna mounted outside and pointing to the towers (via the antenna app) we now get 50+ clear channels. Good antenna. I will be running another lead to indoor TV via a splitter to replace a rabbit ear antenna.

very pleased with the reception and ease of installation

Why did you pick this product vs others?:

This antenna works great. I mounted on the garage and its size isn't obtrusive. The price point was worth the gamble.

easy to assemble and install, works well, however one M4 wing nut was not threaded

I got this antenna to improve over the air reception to my PC tuner card. Before this, I tried using a simple stick antenna with a magnetic base. I mounted a metal AC duplex outlet cover horizontally on the highest point of my roof, and stuck the antenna to it. Unfortunately that antenna was not able to pull in the stations that I wanted.

Fortunately I have an existing chimney-mounted TV mast, so I got this antenna since the chimney mast is higher off the ground than the peak of my roof. This antenna was easy to assemble, unfortunately one of the included M4 wing nuts was not threaded (see pic). Fortunately for me I have spare M4 nuts, but others may not. This antenna is relatively compact once fully assembled and clamped quickly and easily to my existing TV mast. Over the air channels now come in very clear and reception is improved. I get more channels than before, and more reliably also.

So overall this is a good buy, you get a lot of value for the cost. This would have been 5 stars, except for the unthreaded wing nut.

Good antenna easy to install

While there is no such thing as a HD antenna I bought this because it was the only one that gave a honest mile description 70 miles but I'm happy to say it picked up NBC wrcb channel 3 in Tennessee and I'm in Georgia From my house that's about 76 miles I haven't been able to get any atlanta stations yet but I haven't really tried. I've bought these more expensive antennas and couldn't get but 10 channels with this one on a clear day I get 30 on a cloudy day 22.

Don’t waste your money

This is a POS!! If you buy this use the YouTube instructions the paper is super small and very confusing. Poor quality materials. Did even have the screws or other parts that you need-to put it together with.

It's small and when installed/aimed properly - IT DOES IT'S JOB QUITE WELL!

Went from 55 channels inside on an amplified thin antenna to 131 after installing this. SF Bay area. Get all the locals + some from Stockton and one from Sacramento (almost -95 miles away). This along with a Tablo 4 ch OTA DVR + free streaming and se la vie to the ~300$ a month "cable co." bill. (albeit we do utilize ATT Fiber for 50$ a month, but that is for the Internet 1 Gbps pipe) A little bit of installing knowledge and a little patience is all that is needed.

Long Range It Is!

First I purchased a Satellite Under Eave mount and installed it ($40). Then I purchased the Ultra Pro Outdoor Long Range Smart Antenna ($25). I live over 60 miles from the tower that transmits the main local TV stations. Without a booster I get probably 50 stations, and most importantly NBC, CBS, ABC, AND PBS. I’m more than pleased with these two items. In fact after reading all the past reviews on this antenna I had serious concerns about buying it. Not anymore. It works perfectly. And it isn’t large nor is it unsightly. It was a must to have the Under Eave Mount.

Amazing little antenna!

For me it was simple to assemble. Once I had it on the pole, I checked the signal but wasn't expecting much cause the pole was still laying on the tailgate of the truck. It was picking up channels and clear as a bell! Stood the antenna up and secured it. I have a signal booster in the line cause this antenna is supplying the whole house. 5 active tvs and they all find more channels than we've ever received with other antennas. Over 100 chamnels but quite a few of these are local low power stations that don't broadcast all the time. I'm ordering another one to try in my mother's attic.

We are 30 miles south of Atlanta

One of the wingnuts has no threads

No idea if it’s any good

Small, but works. Nice little antenna

Just cut the cord but wanted the local stations still. It wasn't too hard to assemble. I can't reach the roofline so it is about 10 feet off the ground. I have it running 5 televisions. Picked up all the available local broadcast channels with strong signal. Not bad for under $25.

My only concern is that a few pieces are plastic so I hope it holds up in colder temperature.

Good antenna, needed a longer pole

Rabbit ears don't work in my location so I decided to try this antenna.

With the supplied pole it was pretty low, but it did pick up a few channels, it was ok.

According to the reception map, there were quite a few available channels that we weren't getting, so I decided to modify it.

I replaced the mounting pole with a 4' piece of ¾" conduit to get some elevation and pointed it in the general direction of a group of transmitters (no line of sight), this little antenna gets excellent reception and we get all the available channels in the area now👍

Impressive reception despite obstacles

As others stated, I used the photos to help me assemble. All the hardware was very adequete and everything was contained in the plastic bags. This was for an airplane hangar, basically a metal shed, and though the antenna was placed high inside and pointed correctly, reception was poor. THEN, when placed outside, San Diego CA, 7 miles from one tower and 13 miles from another, the channels just poured in, and the key network channels were crisp and clear. Aiming wasn't as critical as I thought, and ultimately I aligned it pointing at one tower, with the other tower coincidentally being directly behind it. I think it will last many years outside, and probably the plastic point of co-axial connection, and the plastic panels holding the center rods will be the first to fail. All in all, I'm happy with the value and the performance.

Ultrapro TV Antenna model #65000

I live in Los Angeles. and I needed an antenna that was small enough to install in my garage, so I ordered this model. and to my surprise I was able to scan over 100 channels. the local channels (2) (4) (5) (7) (9) (11) (13) came in clear with no problems. I had an indoor antenna. which did not work out for me. but for the price of this antenna. I could not ask for more. my only issue. it did not come with a coaxial cable. the size of this antenna when assembled. is 26" wide 10 1/2 " high and 16" from front to rear.

Very Effective for Small Size

Being a longtime licensed amateur radio operator, I know that antennas are just one variable of several that determines the effectiveness of radio wave reception (and transmission). Other things important to broadcast TV viewers include (a) the effective power of the station's transmitter, (b) distance from stations' transmitters, (c) the antenna's elevation above ground or rooftops, and (d) especially for the higher frequency stations, line of sight considerations. Also, with standard broadcast TV channels, the lower numbered ones (2, 4) use longer wavelengths than the higher channels (13 and above, and for UHF band and FM radio stations), which means physically longer antenna elements. If most or all of these factors are out of your control, even a large, expensive outdoor antenna won't be able to work up to its potential.

In my case, I'm located only about 35 miles from the major transmission towers in my area, I'm on a small rise of about 65 feet above sea level, and I happen to have good line of sight in that direction (north) between two-story houses. Given that those potential barriers and problems have been mostly solved, this antenna works perfectly, even for the lower frequency channels (2 and 4). (The receiver is a typical 2013 40" Panasonic LCD TV with digital tuning, using a 75 ohm coax cable input.) It's elevated only about 6 feet above the one-story roof of a split-level house (see picture). I was surprised how well it receives the lower frequency TV stations because it does not have the individual elements for those frequencies, which makes the overall antenna more compact, and potentially useable in an enclosed area, such as an attic.
