Worked exactly as I needed. My desk isn’t big and I have dual monitors but need to be able to switch from my personal laptop to my work laptop . Before I was unplugging and plugging in my monitors every time. This works seamlessly with a push of the button.

I have needed to upgrade my very old KVM switch for a long time. This fit the bill perfectly and I am very pleased. I use it to switch between a Windows 11 PC and a Mac running macOS 15. The switch needed to have all DisplayPort connections and needed some audio component. It took me a while to get that audio was delivered over that DP cable so it took me a while to update. Does not come with any DP (or HDMI) cables but that makes sense since your use may vary. It does come with two USB cables to connect to both computers though. I bought three 1 meter DP cables (since that is all I needed to reach computers). And almost with no issues both computers connected to my 4K LG monitor with no problems. You have to select "USB PnP Audio Device" to connect to audio but it works perfectly. It is made from aluminum and is as compact as it can be. Very high quality.

I bought this to ensure that my work from home setup would handle switching between my personal computer and a company laptop. I have a dual monitor setup and looking to swap both monitors, keyboard, mouse, and audio. This unit did everything I have asked for.
The KVM supports switching between two computers and two monitors. One important note is that for each monitor the KVM has one HDMI and the other DisplayPort. For most computers this is fine, however it did mean that I needed to purchase a DP to HMDI cable for my personal computer as it only has dual DP outputs.
Connecting everything is very straight forward. For each PC you connect:
- HMDI monitor output
- DP monitor output
- USB3
Then finally connect the those same three outputs. With the additional note that on the front of the unit are two additional USB2 outputs which I used for my mouse and keyboard. Finally on the front of the unit is a audio (speaker) output and microphone input. These will also be switched in to the connected computer as a generic USB audio device.
Switching between PC1 and PC2 can be done either with a button on the front of the unit or with the supplied button which has ~3-4 foot cable. Switching between the PCs seems to take somewhere around 5 seconds or so to have both monitors fire up and I suspect depends a lot on the performance of the PC which is being switched.
Only last note I have is that I actually attached a laptop as one of my PCs and to do this required the use of an additional "docking station" for the laptop to make it easy to quickly connect the laptop to the setup with one cable. I was a little concerned that I may have trouble running the monitor signals from the laptop through its docking station, then through the KVM and finally to the monitors. It actually turned out that this was a little bit of an issue and appeared to be somewhat a limitation of the docking station (as another one of my docking stations did work). If you run into a problem here try going into windows advanced monitor settings and tweaking the refresh rate. When I moved the refresh rate on my monitors from 60Hz to 59 (or 50 Hz) then everything worked even with the cheaper docking station.
