The Universal Audio Volt 1 has been a great addition to my recording setup. The sound quality is clean, the preamp is quiet, and everything worked right out of the box. It’s compact, easy to use, and has a solid build that feels premium. Whether you’re recording vocals, instruments, or streaming, it delivers reliable performance with very low latency. For the price, it’s an excellent audio interface and I would definitely recommend it to anyone starting or upgrading a home studio.

I got the Volt 1 (no comp), and I’m very satisfied with it so far! It pairs perfectly with my DT 770’s and sounds great! It’s nice and compact in one unit so it doesn’t take up too much space either. The knobs are feel great, and recording quality is definitely up there. The vintage mode is a nice touch too! Definitely worth the price range for this product!

Let's just say this is hands down my favorite of all time audio interface. No latency, like zero. (Regular XLR cable to microphone). Literally allows you to deliver perfect studio quality vocals each and every time. It's tiny as heck too by the way, weighs basically nothing, and I can take it in the car or trips anywhere I want to... For the price? Absolute astronomical value. I said in another review that I recently got the official YouTube artist stamp and honestly this Volt 1 audio interface by Universal Audio, and the microphone I got... Made my music career.

I am currently running a 4.1 Presonus monitor setup in my studio and when I switched to the Volt, it brought out dynamics and a stereo space that didn’t know could exist out of these speakers. I’m absolutely mind blown…

Buena calidad de grabacion de audios, se puede usar sin necesidad de tener amplificador, es simple pero funcional. Buena calidad de construccion.

First, the packaging is as fine as it gets - a beautiful gift box inside with excellent product protection. It was a joy to unpack.
More importantly, the audio interface works instantly - plug and play. I have not recorded through it yet, but based on other reviews I have high hopes.
I HAVE been mixing down with the interface and I find the signal to be very clear and revealing. For whatever reason the stereo perception seems excellent, which to me is critical for pristine mixes.
I'm going to hazard that it's the best interface in the price range and by far when factoring the included free software. I need to update my computer and DAW to take advantage of the software, but if you are wondering if this interface will work with an older system: I have a Late 2012 Mac Mini running Catalina. The interface was recognized upon plugging in and works great!
I highly recommend and I an sure if/when I upgrade again it will be to another UA interface.
(I'ma submit some product ideas to the company too because I have no intention of getting into the manufacturing business and their are some deficits in clever, affordable out gear these days.)

As soon as I got it, I realize that the box was very dirty. Upon opening it, I realized that there’s no plastic on the original device, and everything was scratched, dirty and used. I did not tested it or plug into anything, as I did not want to risk hindering myself from returning the interface for a refund.

Los preamplificadores de micrófono son bastante silenciosos, el efecto vintage puede gustarte pero no es la razón principal para esta compra, la interfaz se siente sólida y la calidad es muy buena, la mejor entre varias que he probado.

I have a Rode Procaster XLR microphone, DT900 Pro X headphones, and a pair of Rokit KRK 5's with S8 Subwoofer that needed proper connection. After struggling with a certain red popular interface having issues introducing DPC latency and the like, I was about to give up and settle for another way to have all of my gear connected and working for me instead of against me. In comes the UA Volt, and with the ability to power over USB and 5V simultaneously as well as the warming but subtle Vintage mode, I couldn't be happier. The 48V mode drives my Triton Fethead perfectly and the headphone monitor easily powers the 900 Pro Xs like a champ. It's built like a tank, doesn't move or slide around, and overall is the best purchase I've made recently towards my daily work and nightly streaming routine.

I gave my brother my old pair of KRK Rokits as well as the Focusrite 2i2 I bought with it. I picked this up just so I can still drive my Sennheiser HD599se's and a Neat King Bee, and while the recording quality sounds about the same, the sound quality from my headphones TREMENDOUSLY improved. Before the audio was compressing when two sounds were happening at once as well as at high volumes, but I thought that my headphones were just mediocre; turns out changing to this interface did the trick to solve those issues.
Also, there was a negative review saying something about having to press the 48v phantom power button every time you turn on the interface, and they are correct, but in practice I don't find this to be even close to a dealbreaker. If you are someone who turns off your interface every time you are done using the computer, then one extra button to press when turning it on shouldn't hurt. Plus, turning off my desktop doesn't turn off the interface, so when I turn on my computer, everything is already on and working.
