High-Quality and Versatile Pedalboard w/ integrated power supply

This pedal exceeded my expectations in build-quality and versatility of integrated power supply.

Would highly recommend versus buying pedalboard and power supply separately.

Also great carry case comes with it. Complete excellent professional-grade package.

Good product

This pedalboard is lightweight and feels well-made. The included carrying case is a great size and comfortable to transport. The power supply works reliably, and the pre-cut velcro is perfectly sized and of high quality. My only minor issue is that the board tends to slide slightly on smooth floors when engaging the pedals. Additionally, be aware that the power supply is integrated, meaning it wouldn’t be easily replaceable should it ever fail

Good budget option with some easy at-home tweaks

So far so good, budget pedalboards have come a long way in the last decade! The built in power supply actually works as advertised with minimal floor noise. Have different length power cables included is a great feature!

Only a few minor issues:

While it feels relatively solid, I can feel the whole top of the board flexing when I go to turn on my wah, and I’ll probably have to move the wah over to the edge of the board where there is a little more structural rigidity.

Other things are minor but as mentioned in other reviews, the Velcro is outlandishly strong and almost requires a pry bar to remove some pedals. If you like to fidget with layout or signal chain or swap pedals, buy different Velcro. Also, the board slides on a wood or tile floor with the metal legs so adding some thing rubber padding to the base of the legs is a good idea.

Bent frame upon arrival.

Just bought this, took it out of the package and it’s bent. Not good. Can’t say I’m impressed with how sturdy this thing is.

Don't think, just get it!

This board is great! I love the built in power supply. More than enough power to handle whatever I can throw on the board! The carry case which can be carried as a backpack is a great asset as well as the supplied velcro strips, power cables and power adapter.

I feel like I should have paid more for it.

I picked this up for 110 dollars around cyber monday 2024. More than worth it, I have had it for a few months now and everything works as advertised. Based on what I was seeing when I was shopping around, this was the best bang for your buck if you did not already have a pedal board setup. The built in isolated power supplies are a total game changer, and there’s plenty more of them than I needed. No longer do I have a mess of noisy daisy chained pedals all over the floor; it looks much nicer and sounds much nicer too. The only noise coming from my rig is the normal amount that comes from the amp (plugged guitar directly into amp for a simple check). As an added bonus, it came with a nice case, plenty of Velcro, and a variety of different length power cables to get you going. The rest is what you do with it. Pedal boards don’t design themselves… but Vangoa makes it a hell of a lot easier for someone new to the pedal board scene.

I'm pretty happy with the item otherwise there are alot of great features to this thing. however I did manage to cut my finger trying to lace a cord underneath. to me personally i feel my fingers are important for playing guitar. and maybe that could be one improvement worth looking after guitarist fingers. with that said I am really happy to have found an all in one power supply and board unit. the thing I appreciate the most is the high current isolated outputs.

Love the built in Power supply

Large and sturdy pedalboard. Power supply handles all my pedals, Velcro attachment is very strong. I’m happy. The case is great too!

It's perfect. No hum, no power issues, it just works.

I have been searching so long for a solid pedalboard and a solid power supply.

This...just works. Plugging pedals right into the board is so easy and makes cable management a breeze. They include a few different lengths of cables too so I can minimize slack.

I have 10 9V pedals plugged in (a couple of which need the 500ma slots), and they all work perfectly. No hum either. I don't get how this is so cheap, but it works.

The lights are a bit gimmicky, but unique and fun. I'll usually keep em off, but I can see cases where I'd have em on.

I can tell it's a bit more flimsy than other heavy duty boards, but not an issue. I have a wah pedal and can use it without any bending of the board. The foldout legs are nice too!

Others here complained about the board's straight power cord being easy to break - mine came with a 90 degree cord, so they must have responded to that feedback.

I'll update this post if this thing craps out in a couple months, but so far, this is an absolute steal and makes my life so much easier.

Good, but power supply = unreliable for gigs

Design: excellent. Streamlined. Lightweight. I suggest using dual lock strips instead of the included Velcro strips. You’ll become a dual lock fan and thank me later.

Light: entertaining feature which does not add noise to signal. Good stuff.

Case: could be better, not much protection. Upping price for a hard case would be best bet - your pedals are a serious investment.

Power supply: when turning on the pedalboard, all of my pedals power up except one, and this pedal is functioning fine outside of the pedalboard setup. Unfortunately, signal does not pass through unless all units are powered. The only way to solve the issue is, while keeping the pedalboard on, I unplug the underpowered pedal and plug it back in. This suggests the power supply clearly doesn’t sense all of its inputs on power up. This unplug/replug hack is only one extra step, but having to do this every time is irritating, and this one issue makes this thing unreliable for a gig setting. What if your key pedal turned off when you needed it most???

This thing is actually pretty sweet!

SUMMARY:

I figured an all-in-one unit like this would make some compromises, especially at this price, but it’s hard to find any faults in this thing! It’s not built like a tank or anything, but it would totally work for most people’s use case.

PROS:

- The power supply works great! No noise! I expected this to be the weak link, but it has given me no issues and has lots of power to spare! Has 12 and 18 volts too! You can probably power everything you can fit on here. I have a OneSpot and the new Voodoo3+ and I see no need to use either of those over the built-in supply.

- It is very light weight and low-profile, especially when you consider it saves you a power supply.

- The bag is pretty good. Not going to protect your pedals if you stack speaker cabinets on it, but it will work for transportation, and it is light and comfy to carry.

- The LED level indicator is actually pretty sick, too! It’s adjustable, so I got it to go into the red right as my amp breaks up. You can use the included TS in/out to trigger it, or it uses ambient noise level if you leave it unplugged.

- It has an ON/OFF switch!!! Why don’t all the big name pedal power supplies have a simple OFF switch?!?! I love it way more than I should.

- The main power supply has changeable connectors if you travel, and this seems to be a modern switching power supply, so it should work everywhere.

CONS:

- Good quality, but not a tank. Serious touring musicians probably want something more sturdy. If you use the flip out feet, I would not stand on it to hard with a Wah pedal, or the aluminum will bend in the middle. If you want to step on it a lot, just leave it on the ground and route the cables through the channels or just over the top. Or maybe put the Wah on the side…

- The power supply uses a very small connector for its’ main power. I have already broken the connector twice. Luckily it is easily replaced with a generic one, but being able to use a standard power cable would be great (and include the transformer in the board itself).

SUGGESTIONS (for the manufacturer):

- Please make one with a built-in battery! A couple reviewers have suggested that, and I agree that it would be awesome to not worry about power for the duration of a set. It would also bypass the issues I had with the main power supply plug.

- Ditch the underside routing for cables and just make the whole thing more sturdy. You don’t need to go to steel or anything - just make all the rails more solid underneath.

- Make the 12 or 18 volt supply switchable to a 9v high-current port and this would be near perfect as a power supply.

- Bonus points if you make a couple of the inputs so you can “sag” the voltage or the current. It produces a cool effect on some vintage analog pedals, and it should be a simple addition if you are making a new version…

At this price, I will likely buy another if mine stops working, or they come out with a new version.

0 noise even in horrible gig conditions, very light, very sturdy, fits 8 to 10 normal sized pedals

This is Shane J Nichols posting on the account I bought this off of, even though it's suspicious for only costing $129 (the VA002, medium size) (although my manual says it's a PD-M..? it does it's job perfectly, it definitely is isolated. I had this one specific gig about a month ago before I I bought this pedalboard, I only was able to use 2 out of my 8 pedals because every pedal I added, just built more feedback to a point where it was unbearable, I suffered that gig with just a simple tube screamer and a mxr classic distortion, still with a good amount of white (static) noise. I knew I had to play there at the same place in a month, and refused to let that happen again. I did research and figured out I needed an isolated power supply. After hours of looking at separate boards and seperate isolated power supplies, I came across this for only $129 I believe. I looked at all the reviews and the few bad ones just sounded like they didn't know how to operate it. I decided to buy it and it worked perfectly the next few gigs I had. Then the moment truth, the same gig I had about a month prior with an insane amount of feedback. I used the same plug ins, nothing different at all, except using this pedalboard to power my pedals instead of simply batteries and chaining them together. There was 0 feedback and 0 white noise, and it was the best gig I've had in a while. One thing you should know that the manual doesn't state, there's a potentiometer that controls the LED lights, and if your pickups are rather hot, you'll have to turn that potentiometer nearly all the way down or else you'll get a static noise with your clean sound. Turn it down until all but the very last LED light lights up in my opinion and it'll be a pure sound, I had mine cranked and was trying to figure it out for a couple hours as to why it sounded like that. The only complaint I have, is after about 5 gigs, the rubber on the bottom that keep it in place are ripping off already, and there's no rubber on the feet that pull out to raise the board. I ripped 2 rubbers off the top where they aren't even touching the ground because of the feet and taped them to the feet, but they are starting to rip, and like I said the ones in the bottom of board the glue isn't strong enough to keep them glued, they're ripping off as well. But you can easily buy replacement rubber or something of a better solution to this minor problem, this is literally the only issue I have and it's not enough to drop a star, especially considering the price. I highly recommend this board, especially if on a budget, this will not do you wrong. It has small and long output chords to reach all your pedals no matter where you place them on the board, 4 strong Velcro strips, to cover the whole board. The length of AC adapter is longer than I expected, I only had to use an extension cord/long seirge protector once. It has 10 9V 300 milliamp outputs (most pedals are 9v and under 100) and a 12v at 500 milliamps and an 18v at 500 milliamps. This board is also very sturdy, I feel I could stand on it, although I won't lol. Lightweight, and the case it comes with is great, I cut up some foam acoustic panels for extra padding when closing it up in there. Definitely a 5 star board especially considering the price
