Amazing quality for price. Tuners needed to be tightened, trash the old strings and buy some good ones. Tuner, strap, capo, and everything else included is robust and good quality. Awesome tone and great through an amplifier

This is to good to be true
I’ve been playing guitar for YEARS!!! I’ve been in and out of guitar shops like Guitar center for YEARS!!!! I picked up this guitar and started playing it and literally could not find any faults in it, Everything from the construction to the sound on this thing is absolutely beautiful! This can stand up to most 1-2K+ Guitars I would never think this is some budget guitar. I love this thing probably the best purchase I’ll ever make. I usually try not to glaze things super hard but if you’re looking to spend your money on a 12 string I would just stop looking and go with this one. This guitar is just a badass guitar and feels right and sounds even better.

Don’t think about it too much
It’s great I wasn’t expecting it to be so good There is not much difference on the sound quality from other brands that are more expensive
I recommend you change the strings tho👍🏼

A Great 12 String Guitar!!
There’s nothing to dislike about this guitar, very great value for the money, everything that comes with the guitar works. I love it and if you want a 12 string for the low than this is a great option!

Acoustic sound quality is above average and electronics are quite adequate.
This guitar was packaged well for shipping. The finish was perfect, and the sound quality was bright and clear. Fretwork was near perfect, and intonation was spot on with the majority of the strings. The onboard electronics precise with 3 band eq and the addition of a presence slider made a fuller sound when played through my Fender amp. The only issue I have is daily retuning the strings, most days, all 12. Overall, I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to delve into playing a 12-string guitar on a tight budget.

Great sound-- Frets out, saddle lowered, lacquered and sanded the fret groozes
I don't like frets, so I took them out. Lacquering the grooves was a problem at first, I would recommend trying something other than lacquer. But after sanding the fingerboard which needed sanding anyway ( was too rough) I am happy with the result.
Lowered the saddle to compensate for removing the frets.
Sounds good, inexpensive 12 string, now fretless.

Great quality
Neat little package basically comes with everything you’re gonna need and will probably cost 3x the money if you buy everything separately at local musician store, only thing is the tuner wasn’t picking up any signal at all but everything else was great

Unacceptable quality.
Out of the box the guitar wasn’t terrible. It has an amazing sound but that doesn’t save it from it’s horrendous playability. The company boasts about it’s low action and neat fretwire but as per the pictures above the fret work is laughable. Your fingers constantly grate agains’t the sharp fret end’s which makes playing unpleasant. In addition the bridge assembly has started to come apart from the body of the guitar so eventually im going to hear a loud pop and i will be left with some firewood. The tuners are both vauge and tight at the same time making tuning a pain. I’ve never have had any issues with the electronics so that is a plus. In summary i believe you should save the money and look elsewhere, this kind of quality is dispointing because of how far entry level guitar quality has become in the last 10 years; it’s just unacceptable.

Well built for the price
November 2021
The sound quality is pretty good but would recommend putting different strings on it although it does come with some they are not very good. The strap in the picture is a different one from Walker And Williams KB-14 Gloss Black Strap.
Update : October 2022
after owning this guitar for almost a year I have found few things that I do not like. The action will need to be adjusted since the neck will rise a little bit but after fixing that it was fine. The pick up is very trebley and very loud when at full volume. I usually have at 40 percent since this is where I find the best sound at. This guitar is good for someone who wants that 12 string sound. This guitar will have a special place in my heart but now feel like it is time for an upgrade since this guitar is not good for the type of music I play. And for those wondering if putting pairs on this guitar is good, in my experience the bridge has not come up, but as mentioned before it did become harder to play. This guitar songs best with elixar 80/20 strings. All in all this guitar is good for people who want a 12 string guitar but does not want to spend 500+ dollars. Although if you have the money I would definitely look for other options.

Well made, great sound
My dad is in his 70s, and has not played the guitar in years. So, I got him this Vangoa 12-string acoustic-electric guitar in hopes that he would start playing again. He immediately fell in love with the construction of this guitar - mahogany sides and back, spruce top, walnut bridge, and flawless finish. After some tuning, the sounds is lovely and dimensional. The cutaway design makes it more functional and comfortable to play. Additionally are the accessories this comes with like a capo, cable, strap, padded backpack case, picks, and extra strings, etc. I have not tested this as an electric guitar, because my dad prefers acoustic sound. However, it is nice to have the flexibility to choose between acoustic or electric. I have other Vangoa instruments and have been so satisfied with their quality and sound. And this guitar is no different. My dad is very satisfied and is starting to play again!

Nice budget 12 string to start on
I've been so happy with the Vangoa 6 string acoustic that I reviewed a few months ago that when this 12 string became available requesting it for review was a no-brainer.
What I like about this guitar
- great build quality
- nice and loud as an acoustic
- extra ability to plug in as an acoustic electric for more volume
- the completeness of the kit with everything needed to get started
- Comes in a nice lightly padded gig bag type case.
What I don't like
- a 12 string is harder to play than a 6 string. That isn't this guitar's fault, but it does take a bit more hand strength to fret some notes cleanly.

Great beginner's 12 string guitar
Years and years ago I had a 12 string guitar. I was a poor college student, so went from 12 string to 11 string to 10 sting... I could eventually afford only 6 new strings, so became a 6 string. When I could finally afford a new 6 string (a real 6 string), I gave my 12/ 6 sting to a young man who wanted to learn guitar. Ever sense then I had in my memory what a 12 string sounded like and wanted to try it again. I am not an expert, but after playing for almost 40 years, I know a bit.
This guitar is an inexpensive "made in China" guitar, which did make me a bit nervous, even though many guitars are made in China now. When it arrived it was left in the 33 degree rain, upside down, leaning against my door (thanks UPS man), so when I opened the door it fell down through the door banging on the floor. But when I unpacked it, the cold, wet and fall did not appear to have damaged it (I would not suggest you try this however). It comes strung, and with 12 strings you tune, tune, and tune again, as the neck does flex a bit as more and more tension is applied to the strings. Plus they are adjusting to being stretched, so just plan to spend some time tuning a few times to get a decent sound out of it, then tuning again and again to get it right. It does come with a little clip on tuner (with a battery, thank you for including that strange size battery), which makes tuning easier.
It comes with an extra set of strings, some picks, a pick guard sticker, some sandpaper (I am not sure what that is for, very fine so maybe if there is a scratch?), some picks a strap and capo. Capo said "for 6 string guitars" but works fine for 12 also. Also comes with a padded case. This is also an electric acoustic, it has a small control panel, volume and a few other adjustments. This is a powered pick-up, so takes a 12 volt battery (included, always nice when an unexpected battery is included). Honestly I really like the sounds of an acoustic 12 string, so don't see myself ever plugging it in. 12 strings tend, in my opinion, to be a bit louder and "fuller" than a 6 string, so unless you are playing for a larger group, you probably will not need this.
This is geared more toward beginners, price is very good. But it does sound good also. It is not a high end guitar that sings, but sound is very good, especially for the price. Neck is adjusted right, but also includes a wrench if your does need a bit of adjustment. Action is great, no buzzing, but not too hard to hold strings down. And guitar looks good on top of it. Really it is a quality instrument.
Only negative I found, which I debated taking a star for, but decided not to, is that the case has a bunch of loose threads. For every product, I feel like quality control should have a pair of scissors to clip those off. If they missed those, did they miss anything else? After a few days of playing, I can find nothing else wrong with it.
Very good guitar, which I am very happy with. My current main guitar is about 35 years old, so hopefully this one will last just as long or longer.

a well made lower priced guitar that actually sounds great - nice
Usually i stay away from lower priced guitars in general. There can be exceptions with acoustic variations. I have used several well made acoustic guitars for around two hundred before. Well made as in constructed to not buzz easily due to a super sensitive truss rod. This i am assuming is all dependent on the kind of wood used so it does not move easily with the weather and tension applied. This design can easily work as long as the right kind of material is used.
Thankfully with this 12 string acoustic guitar from the Vangoa brand i have found a lower priced one that really works. I feel this is all due to the material whether it is all wood or some kind of synthesis. Right away when i unboxed it there was not buzzing or need to adjust the rod. With the weather temperatures being very extreme in Ohio where i live i was totally expecting to have to adjust the rod. Not only did this come ready to play with the strings already strung, it is solid. What i mean by this is i can't mess with the pitch by applying pressure to the neck manually while holding it. I can do this way too easily with my Les Paul electric. With this super thick neck i can be confident about when the electric option is engaged during a live recording. As for the electric compatibility i am happy with it. The connecting area where the quarter inch cable is inserted is not loose at all and i can tell it will stay in place for a long time without adjustment needed.
I am really happy with the instruction manual that was included. I want to point this out because usually i just either throw away a manual for an instrument (after reading the safety precautions of course),or never use it throwing it in a drawer. This instruction manual is something i will keep as a great reference guide. I am not surprised with this focus on the customer because i have several instruments from the Vangoa brand and they have never let me down. The instruction go over how to tune a twelve string guitar in detail. It is super honest in referring to the delicate nature of the neck of a twelve string in relation to the tension applied. It really opened up my mind to the fine balance of truss rod and string gauges as well as storage. As for strings, they give you an extra set along with all of the accessories you need to start playing thoroughly. A strap as well as a tuner and a capo along with picks and hardware pieces and sticker are included as well. A travel soft case is also a part of the package.
The visual display is nice with the body having that traditional sun blast type of tan/wood look with the boarder being of a dark black and brown wood color.
The wide design gives the user that full bodied sound that assures a good acoustic as well as electric output.
I have been tinkering around with this for a few days now and have had zero issues with having the tuning fall out of place unnaturally. I would say that is the main thing to look for when dealing with a budget guitar. Personally i could care less what a guitar looks like if it plays nicely. With this neat Vangoa guitar i strongly feel you receive the best possible instrument out there for this price range.
In conclusion i am happy with this acoustic/electric hybrid guitar and recommend it mainly for beginners who are new to the twelve string concept.

Beautiful guitar
I am in a slow process of trying to learn how to play the guitar. I received this 12 string guitar recently, but I also have a 6 string guitar. I personally found that 12 string guitar might be more difficult to practice if you are a beginner like me. However, that does not change my opinion about this beautiful guitar itself. It is very well made and the sound is amazing. This guitar came with many extras including strings which is great (see the photo). I look forward to practicing with this guitar in the months to come. I would definitely recommend it.

Love my new 12 string!
I am kind of a beginner guitarist but a crazy fan of the 12-string sound
I acidentally broke my old 12-string guitar and really wanted to buy a new one. Love this one, it sounds really good and its
definitely easier to play then my old guitar. It came with extra guitar strings, guitar strap, guitar picks and a tuner.
Yesterday I tried the preamp as well, and it sounded amazing. I love the black color and the nickel black tuning pegs, she is just a beauty!
