Handle was very comfortable, but the brush it itself broke very easily after only 2 or 3 uses. Pieces of the brush on one stick started to fly off during a performance even though the playing was very light.

I'm gonna be using these to play a little washboard percussion and occasionally a cajón. It was between these and retractable ones; I decided to go with these because of the wooden handles. They look well made and do the job. I can't vouch for durability yet because I just received them, but they look like they will last.

These brushes are the worst! I started playing with them two days ago and today, out of nowhere, all the wires come shooting out at my face and eyes after a rebound. I got kids, I got a limited window of playing time each afternoon, so now instead of practicing, I am down on my hands and knees searching for all this loose around the kit and in the carpet anticipating splinters in little feet. Forget them. The are just the worst.
