Low quality- very flimsy construction. Do not buy. Picture shows condition after I leaned my elbow on my knee while playing giitar on first use of this foot stool. I weigh 200lbs, so maximum weight bearing on it when it folded was 80-100 lbs. Not Scottish!

perfect
This guitar foot rest has been a great help for my practice sessions. The four adjustable height positions make it easy to find the perfect angle for both acoustic and classical guitar playing. The non-slip rubberized surface keeps my foot secure without sliding around. It feels very stable and doesn’t wobble during use. The portable foldable design is convenient for taking to lessons or gigs. Overall a well-made and practical accessory for guitarists.

The first time I ever had a foot rest
I don't play a guitar, I play an ukulele, so I've never thought about needing more support when sitting while playing. Then, I bought an all-brass tenor resonator ukulele, and suddenly I couldn't play holding it up without a strap. Since there is no button on the ukulele to put a strap, I thought I was out of luck until I noticed this foot rest. Then I could rest the ukulele on the body, raise the neck at a different angle and play. The foot rest elevates the leg just enough, and it is a good one. This is solid, the elevation does not slip and while it is not a continuous angle, you can choose from certain-preset heights and angles. I also like that if folds down so flat, not enough to stick into into a uke gig bag, but flat enough to put into a messenger bag or backpack. For the price, this is a great starter foot rest for those of us who are just starting out in this.
