This VILTROX 58cm 20W RGB Light Stick is an excellent value. The front of the light is a plastic lens and the back is metal; feels like aluminum. There is 1/4" a tripod screw hole at each end. The light can be controlled by an app (Android or iphone) or by buttons located on the light. Personally, I used the buttons because they are relatively quick. I like that Viltrox doesn't require me to download an app. This light is a quality offering at this price point.

Solidly built light stick with lots of features, tons of colors and loads of "scenes"
This is my first light stick, so I know I've got stuff to learn, but my initial impression of this Viltrox product is quite positive. It's easy to use and makes a lot of light, plus I appreciate the 1/4-20 threads on each end.
As you'll see by the video, I had the most fun exploring the "scenes"--the modes where the light mimics the light from a candle flame, a bonfire, a police car, a lightning store, a wild bar or party and many more. It also seems like you can fine tune this light to replicate just about any color you need.
It feels very sturdily made and generates quite a bit of light--if that's what you want. Or it can be dimmed down to be quite subtle. It's also attractively designed, so it could serve as a background accent light if you chose to show it on camera.
My only initial concern was I could have used a bit more education on the different modes in the instruction manual. But, to be fair, I'm guessing most people who pick up a product like this already know acronyms like CCT and HSL. I'm sure if I research further I can learn.
I understand there's a phone app to support wireless use of this light, but the limited feedback given the WeeylitePro app in the App Store was spotty and suggested it could use some work. (Considering some of the feedback is a year old, perhaps those issues have been addressed.) Nonetheless, the fact that there are only nine reviews of this app suggests it hasn't got heavy use.
I'm assuming this is a new product and they're still working out a few things. For example, the icons representing the scenes on the actual light stick don't always match the icons used in promoting the product. Hopefully those are small details still being worked out. It would have been helpful to have a list of those actual icons in the users manual so I could know what type of lighting situation they were trying to replicate. For example, in the video I reference one of the scenes as been a "shooting star" (since that's what I thought the icon was.) But when I studied the chart in the Viltrox advertising, it was actually a light scene to replicate "welding." Small issue, but worth mentioning.
Overall though, I'm really quite interested in this Viltrox light and what it has to offer. I think it's going to be a useful tool in my video work.

Easy setup for on-location / studio use; 20 Watts power good for many scenarios; easy-to-use app
VILTROX K60 RGB light stick has a 1/4 thread on each side of the stick and mounts on any light stand or even on tripods with 1/4-inch screw.
Handheld operation is of course possible and due to its low weight (ca. 569 grams) and plastic cover (means no glass that can be broken) no problem in my opinion.
20 Watts is a quite usable power output, and it creates 1800 LUX @0.5 m (which would translate to a normalized 450 Lux @1m) -- especially, I am thinking this light stick is more for a creative lighting scenario with RGB colors rather than providing white light, that power output does a good job for one light. And I am seeing that I could use 2 or more lights combined from different angles.
The light stick's cover produces a soft light, and I think for color scenes that is working well -- it is difficult to say if the diffusion is enough for a given scene, it really depends on your project requirements, I think.
The CRI value is given as: >+95 which is good for creative lighting. The color temperature range is quite wide with 2,500K-8,500K.
It can be operated by buttons next to the onboard display, which is a really fast way to do it, but if the app (WeeylitePro) is used, specific colors or other color settings can be applied super easily with the app interface. The connection to the light works seamless, just Bluetooth has to turned on -- no other manual pairing needed. The Channel ID and Group ID has to match between app and light. Both values are displayed on the onboard display of the light.
No registration or login was required at this point in time.
A battery indicator on the light's display allows to check the power level.
Operation and performance of the light stick is very satisfying -- just double-check the performance specs to find out if this light or multiple of them is the fit for your project.
Some more specs: via app, some predefined lighting effects can be chosen and also, the app allows you to save some light settings of your own.
Altogether, there are 4 operation modes: CCT / HSL / RGBWY / Scene.
Color choices and brightness: 0-360° full color, 0-100% brightness setting.
USB-C charging (PD/OC fast charge charger)
The single version of the K60 light stick comes with a carrying bag and a USB-C cable. The optional grid / grille is not included in the version I received, it seems it is included in a double pack, but I cannot confirm that at this point in time.
