More than adequate as an emergency NOAA weather radio and local AM / FM pickup. I live in an area where it is difficult to pick up any signals and the little unit was able to draw in some stations without any outside help, just using the in built antenna and tuner. Weather station came in very clear. Overall, a very good camping, survival or go-bag item.

I chose this model because I wanted a radio with an "alert mode," and the product description said this had one. But there is no alert mode. False advertising.

I believe this is the older version, after 3 years (purchased September 2022) it stopped working. Bought as an emergency weather radio for hurricane season (FL). Device lived in a box 99.9% of it's life and was used maybe 4 hours and now will not output any sound. I'm buying a handheld CB with weather alerts that I can depend on from a reputable manufacturer. I'm glad I checked it before I actually needed it.

I've been very impressed with the portable radio! It's compact and easy to carry, making it perfect for emergencies and outdoor activities. The reception is excellent on all channels (NOAA, AM, FM), even in areas where other radios struggle. The audio quality is clear, and I appreciate the headphone jack for private listening. Battery life is strong, and it's been reliable whenever I need it. This radio is a must-have for anyone who wants peace of mind during severe weather, and it also makes a thoughtful gift for loved ones. Highly recommended!

I paid $26.99 for the radio and was very disappointed to see how tiny it is.

The size is great to pack and carry. Very lightweight. Mine just arrived. I wanted it for upcoming, Hurricane coming. The digital screen on my radio is broken. I can only get a few stations. I am in Tampa Bay area so there should be no issues getting stations. I'm disappointed.

I like having a portable radio around for power outages, working in the garage and venturing out. I also take one to sporting events sometimes so I can listen to the radio commentary while watching the game. This one feels solid and it looks good. Fits easily in the palm of your hand. The foldable antenna brings in all my local stations, including the weather band. The speaker provides a robust sound and there's plenty of volume. I also like the fact that it runs on AA batteries, which are readily available and last a long time. For the very reasonable price, what's not to like?

This is only a radio. There is no “alert” that will go off to warn of incoming severe weather unless you want to listen to the comments of the weather over & over again non-stop. I wanted something compact, and easy to transport to use as a weather radio for notifications. This is definitely not it.

Picks stations up decently for it's size. Alarm is very loud, clock works great. I was able to receive 4 AM stations, 13 FM stations, and 3 WB stations. Very light radio. Highly recommend!

The reception on this radio is great! Including NOAA Weather comes in loud and clear, will be buying more of these for my family for when George Soros attacks America with his goons and the internet goes down for a few weeks, these radios will be worth gold!

I bought this radio out of necessity when camping and backpacking. Often, cell service is weak or not there. This radio I felt would help not only with providing music but the NOAA stations would be important. We had a power outage last night and this little radio came through for my family. It kept us up to date on the heavy thunderstorms that knocked out power in our area. I will be ordering a another one specifically for use in the home.

This radio was literally delivered just 15 minutes ago! Put batteries in and found my weather channel within seconds. The sound is great! The antennae however is cracked where it connects to the actual radio. You can pull it right out of the radio and it tips to the side. Ordered a replacement and hoping the next one is ok.

Band to change stations stuck so had to return it. Also antenna was very hard to move.

Compact for backpacking however power button doesn't work have to take batteries out to turn off. The other controls are not intuitive. I'll give it away to someone I don't like. Also can not set the clock or alarm.

It's transistor radio so two aa batteries Will last week's
No charge needed with weather band even better 😉

Finally tried out the radio. Tuning is not great. The AM is very position dependent. Sound is not bad. I did find the scale used in tuning appears to be glued on and warped. I am concerned it may peal off

Reception is good. Sound quality is good. Volume spectrum is surprisingly good. Easy to program. Slips right into any small pocket. I'm beteeen wx stations and reception is good on both. Wriststrap and earjack are excellent features. Nice solid little radio. Adding to BOB.

I really expected something larger. Again I failed to read the dimensions. Don't get bitten by the size fairy, read the dimensions.
As tiny as this is, I'm afraid it will go missing in my hurricane box and won't be there when we need it.

Super pissed the spring is bent down and can't insert battery.

My video isn't spectacular, but hopefully it illustrates my point. This is an almost $30 USD "NOAA" radio. It is small and will fit in a purse,, backpack or emergency kit.
The sound quality is fine. FM and AM settings pick up a lot of my local radio stations - more than my car radio does.
WB, aka Weather Band, is where you go for weather related stations, but either you Google the frequency for your state and city to find it or you scan through the frequencies to figure out your local weather band. I Googled. This isn't like other NOAA radios I've had that tune directly to the station only or that alerts you if there is a weather warning or emergency.
At almost $30, this radio - made in the PRC (People's Republic of China - is very flimsy and doesn't look like it will survive even a mild impact in a weak spot. Video hopefully shows this. As I apply slight pressure to the vent over the speaker it easily /bends/flexes/buckles. Too much pressure and it will crack. I recommend keeping this inside the box for storage until ready to use. I'll be putting it in my emergency kit/backpack and will need to ensure it doesn't break.
You'll notice from the video there is no grip or grid in the battery cover. My dry hands kept sliding over it and couldn't get enough traction to open it. I have to use a finger nail and wedge it in the crack to get it open. Be careful applying too much press on battery cover as it too is flimsy and won't survive a mild impact or pressure.
I'd go through the trouble of returning it and finding something of higher quality, but I just don't want to bother. China gets more of my money for little to no quality on this one.
At the end of the day, I gave it 2 stars because it's much too expensive for the quality they are providing.

The first time I ordered this it flaked out after just a couple of days, but I loved it so much I ordered a replacement instead of asking for a refund. But... it was too good to be true. The new one stopped working also. When you turn it on, it plays for a few seconds (literally) and turns back off even though the red power light is still on. It’s not static, it’s nothing whatsoever. It’s maddening and I hate it because I was so impressed with it. I live in a hurricane zone where a reliable weather radio is an absolute must and this one just isn’t it. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

I got this to go to the beach, haven’t gotten to try it at the beach yet but we have pulled this out and used it several times at home when the electricity goes out or needing a little music while we walk. It has been working beautifully! Glad we purchased and yes, we would recommend to friends and family.

We got this for hurricane season since we’re in Florida. Overall it’s a good radio so far. You can listen regular fm and am plus wb which is just weather. Listening now in Jon hurricane season, we don’t hear anything other than ocean tide info. At least that’s all I got.
Sound quality is good enough to listen to weather reports which is why we got it. I wouldn’t really use it for music especially since the batteries will drain faster and I’ll need it for status updates during a storm.
Buttons seem solid. There’s an expandable antenna though I can’t understand how to use it. The built in one seems good enough though.
Only thing I’d like different is that it’s a little light in weight and I feel if you drop something like a bowl it might crack. Not an outside type radio.

I added a photo of the radio I received. It isn't the same radio as in the product photos. For one, the buttons are different (e.g. the buttons on the front in the product photo are Mode, Preset, M-, M+, AM/FM. The front buttons of the device I received are Lock/St., Mode/Alert, M-, M+, Band.). It's a different color red, the writing is in a different color, and the buttons are a different color. Most importantly though, the radio I received looks and feels just low quality. Much lower than it appears in the photos, and lower than I feel is reasonable for the price. I will be returning it. It did seem to work though, so if you want to purchase just be aware that it seems to be lower quality and is a different radio than the one pictured.

Weather since I live in Alabama. I wanted a simple little radio just in case my cell phone doesn’t work. It’s the perfect size for me it can fit in your pocket.

The Vondior 300WB AM FM Stereo Weather Alert pocket radio is a very special one indeed. Sporting a high visibility red color that comes in handy when the weather turns south. It also incorporates a robust weather alert mode that continues to scan all the weather channels for potential trouble. I am impressed.
Search the model and my name on YouTube for a full, in-depth presentation. This also made my Top 10 List for 2020.
Features I like about this radio:
Weather Alert feature that scans all the channels for activity.
Digital.
FM Reception is good.
FM Stereo sound pleasing.
Forty total Presets.
Decent AM Local and Semi Local reception.
Clock.
Alarm.
Sleep function.
Bright Red Color to readily find in an emergency.
Fifty Five Hour run time on Alert mode.
Thin and Compact.
Easy to read Display.
DC Input jack. An Excellent feature to have on a radio like this.
Inexpensive.
Features that could be added or improved on:
Better AM reception. It is a bit weak.
A normal telescoping FM antenna instead of the wire in the wrist strap.
Overall, this radio performs where it really matters. It is a recommend buy because this is an emergency weather alert radio that you can easily carry in your shirt pocket. Hopefully more radio companies follow suit when designing their new portables.

Not a bad small emergency radio with possible daily use. I did have to reset it a couple of times (remove and put back the batteries) but that may have been Bc my 2 yo messed with it or I may have inadvertently locked the buttons.

Love my little radio . I dint like using tablet or phone to put in bed with me , bad expierence with off brand charger wire leaving burn Mark from charger wire, but this is %100 Safe ! Can listen to Coast to Coast very clear every night . Has the weather and is great for an Emergency Radio, with battery life way longer than a cell phone . Thank you !
