vtech cordless phone

Very hard to see display, with no way to brighten, I would not buy again. We have just purchased a Panasonic cordless phone that will let you a just display. This was our first Vtech phone, like the colors. You can see the display is very dark.

Colorful!

I checked when I last bought landline phones for my mom and it was in 2012. She was complaining that her old ones weren't working anymore, or holding a charge, so I decided on this set of 4 because it was colorful and would replace the 4 she had.

The base needs to be hooked up to the phone line and comes with a short cord, you will also need a longer one unless you're putting it right by the phone jack. Thankfully I already had one that would work. This also needs to be hooked up to electricity.

The additional three phones are green, red, or blue (the base and its phone is silver) and only need to be plugged in to the electricity, not a phone line. As soon as I had the silver base hooked up, the other three started working and had a dial tone. It does have the date and time blinking, so you use the menu and up and down keys to set that first, as well. Otherwise, these worked fine right out of the box, I was worried I'd have to fuss with pairing them or whatever.

I like the bright colors of these! The bases are matching colors, as well. Answering machine part is also easy to use.

Great looking product and easy to set up

Like: Easy to set up, nice looking and good sound.

Dislike: LCD can be difficult to see in certain lighting and there especially with the screen glare.

Darn!

The phones work fine, I love the colors, the red phone’s charging light has never gone off even with a battery change. Gonna have to get a replacement.
