Watching Our Dog Relax Made It Worth Every Penny
We purchased the WAGLE 4G camera for our camper, and it has given us something I wasn't expecting—peace of mind.
We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with separation anxiety, and I always worry about leaving him alone in the camper. My biggest concerns are that he's barking at people walking by or getting into something while we're away. Since most campgrounds don't have reliable Wi-Fi, I loved that this camera works over a cellular connection instead.
I'll admit I was hesitant at first. During the free trial, I wasn't overly impressed with the picture quality, and I questioned whether it was working correctly when I noticed the indicator lights changing colors. I also wasn't thrilled that each device requires its own service plan. We only camp seasonally, so I chose the monthly plan, which is reasonably priced and lets me cancel when we're not using it.
The first time we left the campground after activating the service, I checked the camera from my phone. I watched my dog climb onto the couch, lay down, and go to sleep. Instantly, all of my worry disappeared. That moment alone made the camera worth it. I wasn't constantly wondering if he was barking, anxious, or getting into trouble—I knew he was okay.
For anyone who camps without Wi-Fi and wants to check in on their pets, this has been a great solution. It's not perfect, but the peace of mind it provides is absolutely worth it. I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.
