Cutest little engine that could book, great gift too

Bent cover, great story.

Love the story! But the book it's self is not a great quality book. It came in with the front cover bent so that it will not close properly. Just annoying, but the story is really good!

Price tag impossible to hide

This is a baby shower gift, well it was going to be.

The $ price and bar code is embossed into the back cover, impossible to hide the price.

Markers or ink will only smear on the high glass embossing.

Disappointing

Favorite childhood story

This was a childhood favorite of mine. My son loves it as well. I should’ve read the size on the book because it came much smaller than I was hoping for.

Book is tiny with tiny print

As a classic, this text meets expectations. Unfortunately, the book is tiny measuring 4.5”x 5”. The text measures 2mm for capital letters and 1.25mm for lower case.

Other reviews are misleading

The pictures left on other reviews are not the same printing and are of a different sized book.

This isn't quaint or travel-sized, it's a bait and switch.

Do not purchase.

Nice hard cover with glossy colorful pages

I'm collecting some classics that I grew up on for my friend that is having her first baby. I've ordered a handful of books so far and this one is printed the best, in hardcover, for the best price. The pages are decent quality, nice and glossy and bright colors. My only complaint is the book I received is slightly warped. See photo. But overall, quite happy.

Was to be a gift. Couldn’t use in this condition

This was obviously not a new book. I am returning it

Cute Story

This was a cute little story about being kind and believing in yourself, knowing that with courage you can accomplish anything. My kids loved it and they saw through the engines who didn’t want to help and knew that wasn’t the right thing to do.

They were really happy and amazed that at the end there was finally someone who wanted to help in-spite of her size, they saw that she was able to accomplish something big. Definitely a really sweet story about perseverance. It felt a little redundant but a lot of kids books are.

Super TINY Book

I had this book when I was a kid and like to buy it for other kids.... but holy heck every time I buy it it shrinks! It's too teeny not sure what age group can read it.

What is this!? A book for ants!?

This was tiny! The pictures are so small and text barely legible. The paper is super thin also. Very disappointed.
