Must have for 4 screens!!!!

I'm super impressed with this port, I had no problems with set-up, works better than I expected. I'm running a 1/5,2,3,4 seems to fully support 60hz, my display only supports 2-60/2-30, so I'm running all 30's, should last a long time with this setup.

Worth the Price and Easy Setup!

Easy to setup, Driving Quad Displays. (3 = 2560 x 1440) and ( 1 = 5120 x 1440)

While I am not a hardcore gamer, I felt as if gameplay on the large center display was butter smooth, great response time, zero tearing.

Great at First, Then Slowly Falls Apart

I really wanted to love this dock.

At first, it felt like the perfect setup — one cable to my laptop and suddenly I had multiple 4K monitors running, super fast Ethernet, a bunch of USB ports, and even my SD cards loading faster than ever. The idea of simplifying my workspace with one clean hub? That was the dream.

And for a while, it did work as advertised.

But after a few months, little issues started creeping in. Random screen flickers. The dock would disconnect from everything without warning. Sometimes my laptop wouldn't charge unless I unplugged and plugged it back in several times. Even my Ethernet connection, which I chose specifically for stability, started dropping out.

There were moments where I thought: “Is this just me? Is it the cable? My laptop?” But I checked everything. Updated the drivers. Swapped cables. The pattern was always the same — it worked great for a bit, and then something would break the flow.

What frustrated me most wasn't the features — those are amazing on paper — but the lack of reliability. When you depend on your setup to work smoothly day after day, surprises like random disconnects or having to restart the dock multiple times a week just become unacceptable.

I still think this dock has a lot of potential, especially for someone with lighter needs or for short-term use. But for me, it ended up feeling like an unstable solution for something I needed to just work.

So if you’re looking for a docking station that supports a lot of monitors and ports, the Wavlink WL-UG69PD8 Pro definitely delivers… until it doesn’t.

Ideal for a 4 monitor setup

First, I want to thank the customer service via WavLink. Originally I had a similar model that comes in another color where it had a hardware malfunction. WavLink then had it replaced with this one and I have no complaints.

I specifically purchased this to have 4 - 4K monitors for work optimization. It is straightforward once the product driver is installed from the WavLink website.

The real added bonus is all of the additional SD card / USB / USB C ports. With ease you can have separate mouse and keyboard dongles plugged into the back and have the front completely available. I've also plugged a portable CD drive into the USB C port in the back allowing for the occasional flash drive to be plugged in to the front if not plugged into the laptop.

Want to run five monitors from your MacBook Pro M3 Max?

Two touchscreen Raven MTi's, a 50" TV, a 32" TV, and an Apple Studio Display. I could probably add a sixth display from the HDMI port of the MacBook Pro. Easy install, make sure you set it to autostartup when you boot so all the screens come on.

Works great for older non-DP Alt Mode laptops

I'm am artist and designer. I was pretty peeved when J5 Create told me the dock I bought couldn't work for my laptop (none of the documentation mentioned that you needed a USB connection with DP Alt Mode, which apparently my Lenovo doesn't have) and recommended another one that I knew wouldn't have enough power or ports. Thankfully, I found this Wavlink docking station, and my laptop can now easily connect to both my HDMI touchscreen (via supplied DVI adapter) and my Wacom One (direct to HDMI). It has enough ports to connect both video and data from these screens, as well as power for the Wacom One. Still more ports open for my Logi unifying adapter, and other peripherals. This Wavlink cost half the price of the J5 Create dock I initially bought, so I am incredibly pleased. The only thing is that the USB C to USB A adapter that came with it to connect to my laptop broke after less than a week. I would try getting other adapters.

Works well

The products works as intended for most applications. It does not support OpenGL, so it would be nice if that functionality was included. Overall I’d say it is a good value if you have an older machine that only has USB 3.1 1st Gen connections. It is not optimal if you have USB C or Thunderbolt connectivity.

Exactly what I needed!

Disclaimer - this one was not the first docking station I went with - BUT it is the best for the money and user-friendly install (yes I had to download a driver) but that was painless. I tried two others before I found this one - those each had their own issues - one wouldn't interface with Logitech and the other was specifically designed for MAC - both are on their way back to the seller - Don't waste your time on any other ones - this is the again exactly what I needed and what it was advertised to be! I am working with a Dell Laptop and Dell and HP Monitors - Logitech keyboard and mouse - just incase there is anyone out there with similar equipment.

Has lag when using the USB 3.0 port for a mouse. Otherwise easy to use

Works on Mojave 10.14.1 with latest display link driver (from website)

I purchased this as a lightning deal on my MacBook Air which is on Mojave 10.14.1. My external display worked once I install the latest drivers from the display link website, not via the driver included as a cd. Once I download the Mojave drivers from the display link website, everything went smooth after a restart. My external usb devices connect without any issues, my Ethernet works fine, the dock fits underneath my monitor stand, and my desk space has returned.
