The product is manufactured OK for the price but what’s up with it not fitting inside the umbrella hole on the fj200 and fj400? What a waste…I bought two and used one with another light but thought this umbrella would work perfectly with my fj200s and nope. I get on an assignment and BANG…these umbrellas don’t fit. I might understand if they weren’t Westcott but they are. Let’s just say I’m not happy.

Right size and versatile
You can't go wrong with these umbrellas. I'm on an home studio project and these were my first option, and have no regrets, they are light, compact (folded), well made, and with the right size to work with the speedlights, besides, you can use them by two ways, as reflector, or as diffuser, it's just perfect !
Once you take off the black cover to put it back can be a bit tricky, I recommend to do it with the umbrella almost full open, this way the tip on the rod's end stays on better.

Decent but black cover is way too thin
I use umbrellas only to light backdrops. I needed an set quickly so I ordered this one not needing the shoot through option. So, This umbrella is pretty nice but the black cover is a MAJOR PAIN. Every time you open the umbrella the black cover comes off of the white satin piece. Not too bad right? Well if you are in a hurry and have to attach 8 little pieces to the spokes x 2 it is very frustrating. Had to super glue all of mine. Its cool if you are going to shoot through 99% of the time. Otherwise look for something else. One last thing, the diameter is not even close to 43 inches. Like their 7 foot parabolic, they take the measurement along the back of the umbrella--kind of like legal false advertising! I just wanted to add to my review. The black cover really doesn't block any light. Look elsewhere if you want to bounce light off.
