Great resource for kids (and adults who are new to their OCD diagnosis!)

The book was extremely well written, geared towards 7-12 year olds with OCD.

Not sure if it was intentional or not, but there were a handful of typos in the book

So engaging

I love this! It is easy to follow. My daughter and I read together. It is large print and easy to understand. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with OCD.

Great mama

Warning a few parts of this book need removed.

Some chapters are good but my issues are the fact the book teaches the child more things to stress out about. It literally Introduces New scenarios And tells them things that they would not otherwise know or think about that will them Make them MORE anxious.

And...

Holy God chapter 5??? Chapter 5 tells the child to lock their feelings away in an imaginary box and that they can only THINK and TALK about their worries and anxieties during a 15 MINUTE scheduled “worry time” with mom and dad. It says mom and dad will ignore you and your worries and anxieties if you express them UNLESS it’s during the “worry time”!?! My child sees a child psychologist and this chapter upsets her and me as a mother.

This chapter needs removed! I edited the chapter and I wrote that you can talk to mommy and daddy any time you want to talk about your feelings. We will always be ready to listen.

If your child has issues with monsters do not get this book. Chapter 6 tells the child their worry is a Monster than is stuck to them. That they need to talk to it. Yeah.
