I’d leave 0 stars if I could. We have only charged these maybe twice since we’ve had them. One of them wouldn’t turn on or charge and when my daughter took it off of the charger it was extremely hot and the batteries smelt like they were burning. It literally melted the inside of the walkie talkie. So glad she took it off when she did and my kids weren’t playing with them.

I was so excited about getting these for my kids for Christmas but the day they opened them they didn’t work. When you press the talk button and speak nothing comes through on the other walkie talkie or it doesn’t come through on the second device until halfway through your sentence. I figured i was doing something wrong and would sit down and figure it out later bc i figured it was user error.
Well, I forgot about these for a couple of months so I am past the return window otherwise I would have immediately returned these. I am just now messing with them a bit more and they still have the same issue. They are unusable straight out of the box. They are on the correct matching channels and everything so I don’t understand why they aren’t working. I would love my money back if that’s possible and the seller reads this. Wasting $30+ on an unusable product is disappointing.

I bought these for my daughters and the pink one turns on but makes absolutely no sound besides a static sound it’s completely silent and the volume is all the way up

The product description clearly shows it comes with a rechargeable battery, yet the package says it requires three AA batteries. Quite misleading and very disappointing to see.

November 3, 2023 I bought two sets of these this set battery will not charge with the included cable. I charged them in a separate charger with just the batteries alone and I keep getting a battery low light and it shuts off.

I bought two packs of these in four different colors for my kids. They are simple to use. You just set them all on the same frequency and they press the side button to talk to each other. There’s a little bit of feedback when they get too close to each other but that’s normal for a walkie-talkie. They have strings to hang around their necks so they don’t lose them and they’re having an absolute blast playing with them. Our kids are three and six, and these are simple enough for the little ones to use. They appear to be very well-made and I expect they will hold up nicely overtime. We owned anWe owned a different brand of walkie-talkies in the past, and the signal was not as good, and they were not anywhere near as durable as these. These were purchased as a replacement for those cheaper units. All in all very pleased with this purchase and my kids are having a great time using them.

These walkie talkies (Pure 2 Blue and Green) are going to get a lot of use in our house, so the rechargeable batteries are a nice feature. These were pretty easy to use out of the package. You want to make sure both radios are on the same channel and they are pretty self explanatory on how they are used. We were able to use them from one end of the house to the other with no issues (we have not advenured outside with them yet). The flashlight is a nice feature and comes in handy. The charging cable allows you to charge both radios at the same time. Our charge seemed to last a long time, several uses over a span of a couple of days.

This is my 2nd (replacement) set from the first set not recharging.
They have only been used a handful of times.
They will work if I insert regular batteries, but the rechargeable batteries will not recharge once the batteries go dead.
As seen in the picture they are both plugged in and no battery icon is shown. I’ve tried several things to get them to turn on/charge.
I bought these so I would not have to purchase batteries, however it seems that must be what I will have to do since I am now out of the return/replacement window.
Note: I did plug them in when I received them, and it did work. Seems to be if the batteries are dead, is possibly the issue?
Maybe the key is to plug them in after each use?

I bought the set of 2 walkie-talkies (pink and purple)as a Birthday present for my nieces. Upon opening the box,it was found that the item is not new.
1.The walkie-talkies are not packed.
2.The batteries are already in the walkie-talkies themselves.
3. The pink one has a blue colour scratch on the side and wear on the display.
4.The purple one doesn’t work at all.
I demand to refund or send a new product of good quality.

Horrible. Package arrived with box open and contents loose in the bag of the package. Started making a horrible noise when I put the batteries in them. Now they won't charge. I've had them plugged in for 5 hours and nothing. They won't even turn on. These are a birthday gift for a 7 year old... I would like a replacement because I think these got damaged in transit.

Update: I contacted customer service and couldn’t be more pleased. They directed me to buy a new set and refunded me immediately. My kids are happy and I am happy! Interestingly, the two new walkies talk to ONE of the old ones. So I definitely found the source of the problem. Not sure what caused the purple one to go kaput but as of now I’m just glad I have a set that works. Five stars for great customer service.

I bought a set of 2 for my kids (4 and 5) and we loved them. They only used them at the playground while I was helping them. I was trying to change the channel one day because someone else was using that channel. And that’s it - they never connected to each other again. I’ve meticulously gone through every setting. I just found a method for a hard reboot and reset them to factory settings. They will not ‘talk’ to each other. 2 stars bc they worked for a couple of months. I’d love a response from the seller and will update the review if I get one. Thanks!

These walkie-talkies are very good quality. I was looking for good quality ones because I had purchased "toy" ones at a local store and they were complete junk. So these hit that mark for me. They have good range and sound quality. However, they are hard to use for young children. I bought them for my 3 and 5 y/old grandsons and with their small hands they had a hard time pressing the talk button on the side. It's really hard to press the side button even for an adult. The center button can be easily pressed with your thumb. The kids would gravitate toward pushing the center, more visible "menu" button instead. Which then messes up the settings and then they won't work to talk with. I just think they have too many functions in general. Not necessary. Hey Wishhouse - try a simpler design with less features that young kids could operate. Maybe these particular ones would be better suited for older kids.

Even though these walkie talkie radios look like toys, they're actually fully-functional. First, I fully charged both devices using the provided 2-connector charger. After reading the instruction booklet, I set up the channel and privacy code. I went outside with one of the walkie talkies and was able to get a good reception from my device to the other one at home about 100 yards away.

These things are driving me crazy. I got them for the family to use around the house, sort of like an intercom from floor to floor. These won out over others specifically because of their rechargeable batteries, though I liked the extras they came with as well. And you know, those extras are all pretty convenient. The flashlight works. The lanyards are suuuuper useful as they connect and disconnect from the walkie at the press of a button, and the ring that is the attachment point also works great slipped around your finger in case you drop it (I have a tendency to do this because I have carpal tunnel). Sound is clear as well, and the amount of static that comes through is on the minimal side. Oh, and I LOVE that both can be charged off the single charger at the same time! The battery power too- WHOA, does it last on these things! That alone had me completely enthralled when we first started using them! The battery status icons on these are separated into 4 parts and we used them for days and days before they even dropped a bar!
Now here's where we get to the catch (because there HAD to be a catch); the batteries? The ones that were the main selling point for me on this set of walkie talkies? Yeah, they are 3 rechargeable AA batteries inserted where any batteries would be and held in with foam. But they DO NOT stay in. I mean, not ever. If I lightly drop the phone to the bed for a second, they must shift, because the thing starts beeping at me. If I jostle it while it's laying next to me- bam, time for incessant beeping. If I so much as sneeze while holding the thing- nagging beeping! It beeps and beeps, it doesn't even stop when someone's speaking through it, it just screams over every other word out of their mouth with obnoxious beeping! And you can pop off the back and twist the batteries or pull them out and push them back in, nothing matters. Full power, and it just keeps screaming at me like it's on its last legs.
There are so many things to love about this set. It just isn't enough to make them worth the aggravation.

Ordered pink and blue, received green and blue. Returned for an exchange. Received green and blue again, this time with an unusable charger - it doesn't fit, not even close (see pictures). I guess because the lanyards are pink and blue that's "pink and blue"? Whatever, I'm done, and returning for a refund.

Love the recharge feature! Hands free response feature is great for younger kids who just can’t handle the “press, hold, talk, release” process yet. Lanyards are a little long for younger kids and DO NOT have the breakaway feature to avoid choking. Easily replaced if you’re not comfortable with them. Overall great product and fun to play with.

We have had these less than a week and one of the screens already went out so you can’t see what channel you are on to communicate with the other walkie talkie. Sound quality is great though, but won’t be able to use now that the screen stopped

Purchased this product for the purpose to using them when camping. Was very pleased and surprised with our purchase due to several features I had overlooked in the description. First, with grandkids under 5 yrs, I was thrilled to find that there is a "lock" feature on the buttons that prevents little hands/fingers from changing the channels or changing the settings. Second, sound quality was excellent and volume easy to adjust. Third, there is a call feature, with a single button you can "ring" the other receiver instead of calling out over the airwaves. (Very nice!) The colors in the picture are just as bold as the actual item you receive. Also comes with detachable lanyards. Just a push of the button and you can hand off the handset with out any effort! Plus, a detachable belt clip. So may features that we have not yet even explored but they will be perfect for trips, playtime, keeping in touch, flea market hunts, hiking, camping...I could go on and on. Perfect in areas where a poor cell phone signal is an issue. Handsets come with batteries in the box and powered up immediately. Power cord for recharging is included. Great as a gift because you can instantly start using. Highly recommend.

-for a kids walkie talkie, it isn't very user friendly (even us adults had to refer to the manual constantly)

Me and my family absolutely love these walkie talkies! First of all they look awesome and the color is great but even better ... they work great!!! My husband and I took our kids up to a park and had a lot of fun with these... we could clearly hear each other no matter how far in the park we went, it was great! The voices always came through very clear! If you are looking for a nice looking, long range, kid proof walkie talking - I definitely recommend these!
