Poor quality
Wuuk quality has gone way down. I have installed wuuk several times, and this connection usually has a rubber sleeve. But now this exterior connection is exposed. Terrible quality.

Cannot use it yet as power cord is so short...ridiculously for a security camera!!!!wont even reach where i want to put it!!Saw no where on the webpage the measurements of the cord...they should be there.
edit:Returned it...got extended cable so i could put it where i needed too but it would go offline and even with the so called ability to reboot from the app..it would not!!no point in a so called "security" camera that goes offline and you have to literally unplug it for it to work again!unacceptable.I had 420kps wifi connection so plenty of speed!

This camera has many features that were once only available with much more expensive video cameras. There are too many to list here, but some of the best features:
> Clear images
> Facial recognition
> Motion-activated spotlight and alarm
> Easy to install
> Has an APP that is loaded with settings for the camera
> No subscription fee.
> 257GB card (not included) supported
A feature-packed camera can be used outdoors or indoors for an excellent price.

By far my favorite feature on any of our cameras. Something so little can make such a huge difference! Both the mount and the camera is magnetic. So no need to screw or drill. Makes things so much easier that this camera isn't in a "fixed" position. Just remove and relocate. Same with adjusting the angle on the camera. And the image is very clear. Color night vision, motion activation. Easy to set up. App is easy to navigate too.
Latrice
The clarity on this camera is just okay. I like the fact this camera sits on a base, that's magnetic. Download the app of course and set up the equipment and your good to go. I can watch the kids from work, and the pets too.

So the value for the price on this is insanneeee!!! This is the perfect wifi camera that you don't need a monthly subscription for!! The night vision on it is immaculate, and the spotlight works perfectly once there's any movement!!! And did I mention you can connect it to Alexa as well!!! We were looking for a nice security cam forever and I'm sooo happy that we found this!!! It's perfect for indoor or outdoor use!!! 10/10 would recommend for sure!!

The WiFi security camera is easy to use. The video quality is sharp and a good resolution. I like the ease of viewing the videos through the app. The app has no monthly fee. The camera supports IOS and Android. I would recommend this for the ease of use and the quality video playback.

Last spring my crawl space was visited by a black racer snake, which evidently was in hot pursuit of mice. The mice eventually made their way into the house. Even though I sealed one outside pathway into the crawl space and dealt with the intruders, I needed an early warning system. The WUUK wired camera was easy to set up in and add to the WUUK app on my phone. I immediately began receiving a clear image of the problem corner of the crawl space. I have it set up that if any motion is detected in that area, I will receive a notification. For peace of mind, I have three other WUUK cameras set up outside.
Update: Last week, I received an alert from the WUUK camera for motion in the crawl space. Sure enough, it was another snake. The snapshot feature of this camera is handy, as per the attached that shows the snake entering the frame from the lower left. This camera does the job!

This is the rundown of most of the basic features you get:

-Facial Recognition
-Sentry Mode
-Event or 24/7 Recording
-Custom Messages for Greetings and Warnings
-Motion, and Human Detection
-Detection Zones
-Notification Toggles For Each type
-Sleep Mode
-Optional Power Connection using Lamp Socket from WUUK
-MODES (Home or Away)
-The IR lights on this camera appear to be passive infrared as there are none visible during Night vision Testing.
-There are 2 Spotlights located near the top of the camera. The spotlights provide both a color night shot as well as security.
MOTION/FACIAL RECOGNITION/SENTRY MODE:
-There are two main detection types with this camera. Motion and Human. You also have facial recognition but that's more of a subtype of regular motion. You can set sensitivity levels for each type of motion.
-With Facial recognition, you need to set up facial profiles. When you do this, you can use more than one method. You can upload an image you already have, take a new one, or use an image of someone that the camera may have already captured. It will show that person in the face profiles section. Once all of that is done, you can also setup personalized greetings with each facial profile. This is a pretty neat feature. There are some built-in messages, more that you can download, convert Text to Sound, and you can record your own if you want.
-If you have a facial recognition setup you also can set up “Sentry mode”, This will make the device play a sound if it detects a stranger. Likewise, you can use a custom sound to play when this action happens.
MODES:
This camera has 2 modes you can select from. These are in the “SECURITY”. Home and Away by default. Or you can simply make your own. When you choose a mode you can set triggers for each mode for scheduled recording and Scheduled notifications. So if you are looking for those features, this is where they are located. You have to do it this way.
Playback:
Playback is really simple. You get a timeline that you can zoom in and out of. Motion markers are indicated in blue on the timeline and you get a chronological list of screenshots and motion events. It should show the type of event as well either Motion or Human.
Some Small Issues I noticed:
-When you click the Alarm button in the app, it gets stuck at saying it’s “Loading” however the alarm was actually going off. Even though it doesn’t look like it, you can click the alarm button again and it’ll stop. Even though you may not think you can click the button because of the stuck “Loading” message.
-When I first set up the camera there was a Firmware update available. The Camera will talk during the firmware update process and let you know that its update is complete. But on the screen, it still kept showing it was about 71% and it wouldn’t change. I eventually just blacked out of the app and went back in. The firmware was indeed completed but the software wasn’t showing that. Upon looking at the firmware section though, you could see it did properly update. A person that isn’t very tech-savvy might get thrown off something like this. Especially if you are not near the camera when running the update, you would never hear the camera actually tell you it was completed.
END:
You have more than one way to mount this, but you can also just put it on a shelf or table. You have the option of a screwless mount by using the included 3M adhesive which you can place on the magnetic base or on the metal mounting plate, and then attach the magnetic base to that mount. Or you can use the normal method and screw the metal mount into place. This is a nice camera overall and the App is quite polished.
Some of the features I feel like are pretty standard that are missing from this are:
-No motion Tagging
-No other types of motion. Vehicle, Pet, Package
-BUT there is a lot to like about this camera. You can even Do a quick snooze of your motion/human notifications from the main Dashboard. You can choose 30 minutes, 1, 4, or 6 hours. The interface is very clean and I don’t think any other brand has used this exact setup so it feels like this might be a custom app that WUUK themselves had developed. Either way, it's very intuitive and most people will have no problems getting the hang of it.
-The facial recognition is a nice feature and something that I hope to see more of. Right now you mostly see it in doorbell cameras but it’s refreshing to see it in a regular camera.
I like the passive IR lights because you can also turn off the status light and make the camera a lot more stealthy.
-You get rich notifications without having to get any kind of service.
Last but not least, the image quality. It’s actually really good for a 4MP Sensor. I’ve tested quite a lot of cameras, and many with 4mp sensors that just don’t put in the effort. This one does. You get a good amount of detail for that sensor amount. If I didn’t have the specs and this was a blind test, I would think it was a 5mp sensor. The night vision is equally well done. Contrast and shadows are good at night, and in the daytime saturation, colors, and hues are all accurate enough. I hope they release a firmware update to give you more motion types to track and maybe motion-tracking but This is still a solid Recommendation.

Very nice and clear video and pictures

We really like this camera, it was super easy to setup and easy to place. It is wired so you need to be close to a power source. The quality of the video and camera are very good. We played with the different features using speaking and recording and had no issues. Up and operational in minutes. We would recommend. It comes with a magnetic base which is super strong and allows you to position the camera in any position. The base can be sitting on something or mounted to a wall.

This review is for: WUUK 4MP Wi-Fi Security Camera Outdoor/Indoor with Facial Recognition, Wired Cameras for Home Security Outside with Customized Greeting, Spotlight, IP67, Compatible with Alexa & Google (4MP Wired Camera)
Our family has 2 camera systems. Blink and WUUK. I will not go into all the back story but I decided to try this WUUK Wired Camera in a side by side comparison. I have a Blink Mini in my shop and this WUUK camera was put up right next to it.
This is a light duty security camera. What I mean by that is that it is not very secure. It is meant to be able to quickly deploy and start using. It has a magnetic base and is pretty easy to put up. Because it is a wired camera it is limited in where you put it because you need a power source. Yes you could probably use a solar panel or other source but I happen to be using the included plug/wall wart.
Forgive the messy shop, I am in the middle of several projects.
Overall, I am impressed.
Pro's:
Slightly wider field of view than Blink Mini
High resolution
Microphone and speaker
MicroSD card inside the base for recording video and images You don't have to pay to access your records.
Easy set up
Cons:
Limited by power cord. I would rather have/use and ethernet cable. (but that is a different type of camera).
Cats can knock it sideways because it is a sphere with a magnet inside.
App controls (not under review here but it is part and parcel)
Spotlight has limited efficiency.
As you can see from the photo the WUUK camera has a slightly better field of view (bottom) than the blink camera (upper) and resolution (sorry for the thermostat blocking the way but you get the picture). The biggest limiting factor for this camera is the app (which is not under review here but is a bit difficult to use.)
Videos are pretty nice and clear. The camera/app include details like time stamps, temperature, bitrate etc. When viewing the wuuk videos you may notice that there is a 1 second delay in live view. Not too bad though it can result in some interesting conversations if you don't give the other party a moment to reply. The microphone is very sensitive and picks up a lot of background noise. For the most part I have sound turned off until I want it.
This camera also has a small LED integrated spot light. It is not much and range is limited.
I like the night vision the best. There is better details and depth of view compared to my blink mini. In this regard it also seems to be able filter triggers. My blink camera will record anything including a dust mote falling or fly zipping around. The WUUK camera does not and only records and notifies of real movements and events.
Over all I give the camera a solid 4 star rating.

Things I liked about the camera:
Build quality is great. Was easy to set up and connect to the app.
Continuous recording to SD card
No subscription required for AI person detection or face recognition.
Video quality is very good. Color night vision (IR turned off) is very bright.
Timeline in the events view is great and easy to use.
Live view is very fast, only takes a few seconds.
Company is improving software. Got a firmware update that already has improved AI detection.
Things that could be better:
Only 3 levels of motion sensitivity: low, medium, high
No geofencing for automatic turning off notifications or recording when at home.
No rich notifications.

This is a great security camera! Small and easy to install, comes with great instructions and a magnetic wall mount. The picture is very clear and provides real time footage that can be recorded to an SD card or cloud storage with subscription. It has facial recognition, pre-recorded messages and live sound feed and reply features. Motion and people sensors work great and alert quickly, but can also be snoozed when needed.
It says its rated for outdoors, but I dont know if it can withstand direct water contact, I placed it under and awning and it has been working fanatstic. Not sure how we went so long without one, but this is affordable and provides fantastic images for a security camera. Great find!
