XbotGo Falcon AI Action Camera

Excited to Try It Out!

The camera looks great, and I love that it comes with a carrying case! I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but I’m really excited to take it outdoors and capture some great shots!

Really Good to Use!!!

When we play sports, my friends frequently ask me to take pictures and videos of them, but it can be challenging to keep up with everything while attempting to capture quality shots. I was looking for a way to record games without having to follow everyone around and hold my phone all the time.

XbotGo is an incredibly smart solution! It's easy to set up on the tripod, and I love that the AI tracking follows the players rather than requiring me to move the camera by hand. Another great advantage for keeping the players in frame while they move is the auto-zoom feature. It's particularly helpful in fast-paced sports like tennis, basketball, and soccer.

I can actually enjoy playing with my friends instead of constantly being the person behind the camera thanks to the setup's small size, attractive design, and hands-free recording method. Additionally, it's excellent for recording game footage and then sharing special moments.

All things considered, this is a well-considered product for anyone who likes to play sports with friends and wants to record more of the action. Undoubtedly a five-star idea for simplifying and improving the convenience of sports recording!

nice camera

I bought this XbotGo Falcon camera and I really like it! It is very easy to use and has many sports modes to choose from. The video zooms in and out quickly and smoothly. I tested it from almost 100 meters away, and the video was still surprisingly clear. Overall, I’m very happy with this camera. Great for recording sports!

Basketball players needed

Beautiful design. It is easy to use with three different modes. Also you can use accessory to help you record. I am a basketball fan and I often play basketball games. I suggest to use this sport camera which can record my highlights. One more note, you can even use it for live streaming.

Best sports cam!

I love how easy this camera is to use! Works great for recording footage for me, so I can actually pay attention to the game and not where my camera is pointed! I usually set it up a little bit aways from me also, so I can scream and cheer on the team without ruining the sound! Zooms great and its super compact and easy to carry to setup. Battery life easily lasts an entire game and then some, and the audio is great. Love being able to hear all the cheers without my voice blaring since I was holding the phone! Perfect for anyone with kids or relatives that play in games!

Best bag for your buck without a

Use it for my daughters soccer games, I really have no complaints, love that you don’t need a membership, camera quality and tracking do a pretty good job. For this price point and not having fees/memberships I’d say it’s 100% worth it. I can airplay the games on my tv too.

Buen producto y software gratis

La probé solo una vez en un entrenamiento, muy buena

Better than expected! Finally a camera without monthly subscription!

As a soccer dad, the Xbot Falcon has been the best purchase. I switched from Xbot Chameleon and there is no turning back since I don’t have to have my phone on top anymore since the Falcon is the camera AND tracker!

1) No monthly subscription. Just cost of camera! The other competitors really can’t compare as the thought of adding a monthly fee on top of already expensive sports is nonsense.

2) Livestream games to grandparents or family who can’t attend. Once again, no added fee!

3) Easy set up. App works great. Any 1/4 tripod mount works so no need to buy xbots official tripod that costs more. Not to forget, this is weatherproof and you can charge while filming with power bank if have multiple games in 1 day.

4) Game film is good quality and tracking compares to the rest of competitors. Yes, occasionally it will miss a ball or two but they all do that. No question, the overall quality of end result gives you exactly what you want.

5) Ability to store videos past 20GB (about 1 games worth) will require a micro SD card which you will need to purchase separately.

Overall give it a 5/5 and once again no monthly subscription!!

Exelente calidad para video

Exelente, tenía el modelo anterior y se nota la mejora en la cámara, la verdad una de mis mejores inversiones

Soccer Team Must Have!

Soccer coach here and I couldn’t be any happier with the falcon! Tracks very well and love the features that the app offers. Like the scoreboard; makes my editing easier for later if needed. So far I have nothing negative to say about my falcon. Will definitely keep using and posting videos on my teams YouTube page. Parents are happy they can share the games with family. Battery like is also a big win; recorded for nearly 2 hours and still had over 75% battery.

Great all in one camera

This camera is great quality and has worked well. From the start the packaging was excellent and felt very premium. The instruction manual was long so I watched the included video instead and setup was very easy and fast. It’s awesome to watch it calibrate and move around. The way it works is you need to select the sport you are using it for and it provides guidance of how to set it up, making it super simple. Camera quality is also great so far, and the zoom is clear. It connects via wifi but I haven’t tried much of the streaming so far. Overall if you need a semi-professional sports camera setup, this would work!

Now I can actually pay attention to my kid's game instead of worrying about capturing film

Bought this to film my kid's travel soccer games and its expensive but it works. Set it on a tripod, hit record, walk away. AI tracks the ball and players the whole game without me babysitting it - the biggest value from this is so my wife and I can pay attention to the game and our kid rather than worry about framing the camera.

4K footage looks clean on the TV. Sharp enough to actually break down plays after the game instead of squinting at phone video. Dual lens setup is smart, you get the wide shot and the tighter action in one go which is hoenstly better than my manual zooming.

No subscription is the real win here. I was about to pull the trigger on a Veo until I saw the monthly fee, screw that. Pay once and you're done.

Live stream worked fine over my phone hotspot so the grandparents could watch from out of state. Setup took maybe 15 minutes the first time, less after that. Just make sur eyour connection is strong. I'm a big tech guy and always like to try out the latest innovations so this was pretty cool to get all set up.

It likes good lighting. Played an indoor tournament in a dim rec center gym and that was not as good as outdoors. Outdoors in daylight it's basically flawless. Build feels solid too, got rained on last weekend and it didn't blink. I still bust out the Sony a7R V on occasion but this is a great daily driver.

Worth the $699.

Automatic tracking

I did some research online looking for a sports camera, decided to try the Falcon, and we tested it out at a friendly club soccer match. I’m impressed.

The independence of this camera is its biggest selling point. Once we finished the initial setup, we literally didn't have to touch it again. It did an awesome job keeping track of the action. I know some online reviews mentioned occasional tracking issues, but we had no loss of focus. That might be because we only had one ball in play, which kept things straightforward for the AI.

Not needing a dedicated cameraman is huge. If you are buying this for your kids' games, it means you can actually sit back and enjoy watching them play instead of focusing on filming. Plus, you get away from the heavy subscription models of other brands. What others have said about it working great for soccer absolutely holds true.

Great camera for recording sports

I think that its a great camera for recording sports games. The AI tracking works well and keeps the players in view without holding the camera. Video quality is clear, and the setup was really easy. I also like that there’s no monthly subscription, overall it’s a solid choice for parents like myself.

Easy setup and impressive AI tracking performance

I was honestly surprised by how well the AI tracking works during soccer games. Setup was simple, and it followed the action much better than I expected without needing someone behind the camera. The image quality isn’t cinema-level, but for recording full games and creating highlights automatically, it’s incredibly convenient and worth it.

Blown away! Way better than anticipated

I've been following these for a long time and finally decided to pull the trigger on getting it.

The first thing is the carrying case, which to be honest is really nice to have considering this is a portable unit that has to be taken up and down. On top of that, the mounting system is a very universal system that'll fit basically on any tripod. I used my peak design that I also use for photography and it fit normally on the plate without any modification.

Which is nice because this way I can use any tripod I want any Stiehl amount I want for different events. There's even some amounts that we can actually put on a fence if we had to if that's the mounting possibilities. So the universal mount is really nice and it's not something you have to screw in it just mounts directly on the plate and locks into place. What surprise me was how the how useful to gimble is with the rotation. There's two access and one go side to side one rotates the entire camera system up and down, but when it's recording, you don't see any shaking or movement or jittering.

Getting to the actual recording itself great quality clear imaging. The zoom is very good. It's actually a lot better than what I anticipated from other reviews. We did test it out with some tracking and it tracks perfectly well, the nice thing is with the tracking. it's all from your phone so if it is getting off base, you can always reset it if you had to. However, we never had to reset it once. As far as the options and set up, that went very easy. Quick downloading of the app usability is very easy really didn't have to read too much of the instructions, but they do give you a lot of easy videos to watch. You know some different things that kind of help you get used to using it. Basically all you have to do is charge it up throw an SD card in download the app and you're ready to go there really is no guest work.

As far as the battery life, we ran this thing for hours and still had plenty of battery left. The good thing that I noticed too that we tested was there's a USB-C on the back that's accessible so if we needed to, we could always take just take a battery pack, plug it into it and charge it while it's being used essentially having unlimited power. So battery life is great.

As far as the value, this is amazing, it's a gimbal, a tracker, and everything all in one that you don't have to hold in your hand to run around the field and do everything yourself and honestly that's one of the biggest things that I used this for. Because normally it's me running up and down the side of the field with a gimbal and my phone or a camera, so this replaces all of that with a hands-free effort. So for me not having to do that that's a great value.

As far as the color quality color is great it's exactly what it's supposed to be. It's not too warm not too cool. You can't adjust it if you wanted to however right out of a box it records exactly how the scenery looks so again really no guest work with it. Every time we turn it on it the phone finds the Wi-Fi right away and connects directly to it no issues no disconnects. It's very simple and great to use.

Definitely recommend this.

I purchase this XbotGo Falcon camera for my little son's basket ball game recording.

I was used to recording sports game video using my cellphone with 2 hands for full hours. This Falcon camera is really game changer. This is perfect device I've been looking for. Camera capture and tracking balls & players smoothly like real TV broadcasting and it shows in the premium quality. Its also very easy to setup and easy to carry with included fancy cute case. I definitely recommend this.

Works great.

This camera is amazing still leaning all the things it can do Rugby is still in beta but the live streaming in nice. Clear images. Would recommend.

Video was my first time with the camera on i had the kids run so i can watch the camera follow them and i was playing with the live scoreboard

Lost tracking! Junky zoom feature!

Used it recording several socce games and i feel very disappointed. Not as good as the advertisement described. 1. Lost tracking some times. Can stuck at one area and does nothing, missing the game activities. 2. The zoom does not help at all. Players from far areas are tiny, the zoom is a junk. 3. The price is definitely over priced considering what the camera can offer in reality.

Best Sports Camera

Amazing camera for sports recording! The AI tracking works really well, the 4K quality looks great, and setup was super easy. Perfect for soccer games and automatic filming without needing another person behind the camera. Highly recommend!

Great for Capturing Sports Action with Minimal Effort

This camera has a really solid build and feels well-designed right out of the box. The setup is straightforward, and it doesn’t take long to get everything ready to start recording. The included accessories are a nice bonus and make it easier to use in different situations.

The video quality is clear and detailed, especially for outdoor sports. The auto tracking feature works surprisingly well, keeping the action in frame without needing constant adjustments. It’s especially useful for team sports where movement is fast and unpredictable.

I also like that it doesn’t require a subscription, which makes it more convenient for long-term use. Overall, it’s a reliable and practical option for capturing games and training sessions.

Horrible camera stick to the other one

Absolute trash! I really wanted to love this camera we set it up and it failed. It recorded everything seemed fun yet there’s nothing on the sd card! Waste of time money and energy.

Update 2

So my first review was because it seems I got a bad camera. Was Able to exchange and the second one was great. UNTIL!! They did an update and now the colors are locked on the app? Contacted customer service and there saying it’s to make it easier for users. Well there’s no common colors black or white and I’m guessing with the locked color wheel there going to be introducing a subscription. False advertising and a big waste of time. Thanks for. Nothing

Excellent!

Fantastic sports camera, no more having to rotate it myself and no more manual zoom. Best of all, no more missing the action because I'm busy recording.

The camera is relatively small and comes with a case. Bigger than a GoPro but still very portabke. The recording quality goes all the way up to 4k. Has auto tracking, different sports modes, and additional customizations like auto pan angle and zoom. So you can fine tune it a little bit.

Your phone connects to the camera's wifi connection and you use the app to control settings and record.

Overall really happy with this camera, testing it with my weekly basketball runs and will eventually use for my kids sports teams.

Great product, easy to use.

Easy to use, very convenient to record daily activities or vlogging.

Came with nice boxes and cases, no need additional accessories. However if you don’t have a tripod, you may need to one.

Also contains quick video guide for people don’t like to read instruction manuals like me.

Good start -- looking forward to future updates

We've been using this camera for volleyball and will be trying it out for basketball later. Positives: 1) A manually operated scoreboard can be overlaid onto the video. 2) The lens is wide angle. 3) up to 4K resolution video is recorded. 4) Large capacity microSD cards can be used. 5) battery life good. 6) mounting bracket is compatible with photography tripods. 7) pan and tilt can be manually adjusted 8) mobile device is used to see realtime video transmitted from camera 9) Remote control and viewing from camera worked from 80 feet away! -- Areas for improvement: 1) 60 fps instead of 30 fps would capture fast action better 2) Scoreboard could use a score reset button 3) tracking for volleyball could be improved. It is currently missing action outside the view frame 4) Auto-zoom has not engaged yet. [not effective or needs to be more aggressive and could use a manual adjustment function] 5) Audio quality not as clear, but perhaps that is intentional. A Robot Cameraman That Never Misses a Goal

I am so happy that I found this shadow grey sports camera because it is the best deal for the price and it works just like a professional cameraman who never gets tired! It is a wonderful value because you do not have to pay for a monthly subscription to use it, and the functionality is amazing because it has a super smart AI brain that automatically follows the players and the ball during soccer and basketball games. It is super easy to use because you just put it on a tripod and it uses two special lenses to record everything in crystal-clear 4K video, so the pictures look very sharp and bright when you watch them later on your TV. This camera feels very tough and durable because it is made to stay outside on the sidelines, and even if it starts to rain a little bit, the water-resistant design keeps it safe and working perfectly. I love that it has built-in Wi-Fi so I can live stream the games to my family and friends instantly, and it is a high-quality helper because it is all-in-one, which means I don't have to carry around heavy extra gear or wobbly stands. It is a smart and dependable choice for any parent or coach because it captures every single highlight perfectly, and since it is so compact and lightweight, it is very simple to pack in my bag for every game. I think this is a five-star winner because it makes recording sports feel like a fun and easy job, and it is a high-quality tool that helps everyone see how great the team is playing!
