Xbox Special Edition Wireless Controller Gaming Controller

Just got this out the box today, and can't even use it.

The controller has some sort of Stick Drift (I don't know if that's what it's called, but it seems like more than that).

In the video, you can see the right analog stick is used to control the camera movement. It continues to drift downwards, making games unplayable.

Edit: I have it connected via USB C, but I have to disconnect and reconnect, and hope that I don't accidentally bump the analog stick. Otherwise, it does that drifting thing again.

Best Xbox Controller.

Use this on PC and on Xbox One almost everyday!

100% Xbox/Microsoft quality and beautiful colors.

Had it for more than a year and still has no stick drift, sticky buttons or poor battery health.

Will buy another eventually!

Very cool special edition Xbox controller!

This is everything you’d expect from a standard Xbox controller, but as a special edition, the color mix here is absolutely stunning. The color blend of blue and black is so unique and has held up great for multiple years. It is as vibrant as the day I bought it. This connects direct to PCs and other devices via a wire or Bluetooth and runs off standard AA batteries. This controller has not proven to be a battery hog, and does well in terms of longevity. The buttons and knobs are crisp and precise.

I have successfully used this Xbox controller with a variety of devices and continue to do so regularly. I have used this for PC work, PC gaming, Mac work, Mac gaming, and iPad Pro gaming. I’ve never experienced lag or compatibility issues across any of these mediums.

I love it!!

This controller works soo well, I’ve used it on all of my devices and I’ve never had any issues with it! The color is just like in the picture and the material feels great! The buttons work pretty well and the joysticks feel smooth!

Two years no issue

I'm about to buy another one , first xbox controller that actually last over a year

Stoemcloud Vapor Xbox Controller

After accidentally buying a textured trigger controller, I will never go back to a different trigger again. Even the grips on this one are textured for better grip. My hands can sweat while playing C.O.D. and I have dropped controllers in the past because of sweaty hands. Not now.

Looks like this controller was previously taken apart, bad drift

You can tell somone had previously opened this controller and it was supposed to be bran new, I got this as a Christmas present an already had one controller I was using so waited to open it and it had bad drift out of the box on the left thumb stick. I am very let down, this was not bran new. This is just the first controller I’ve gotten on here that has had issues out of the box, I’ll be doing another review on the controller I just got couple weeks ago that is also messed up. Wow is all I can say

Love the design and worked well

I love this controller and I am able to connect it via Bluetooth to my pc with no problem. The handle is very comfortable and the controller is pretty. However the package seems opened and the there are some dirt in the back of the controller which makes me think that it is no 100% new.

LOVE THE COLORS!

This is a great controller. The color is very vibrant. It’s worked well! I couldn’t be happier.

Cool looking controller

Bought as “open box - new” and it was not new. It looked like it has been used for a few months by the dirt filled crevasses and chipped paint. Functions as it should though. Just wouldn’t buy open box again for the amount I paid!

Me encanta.

Build quality is boss!

The "Remix" Xbox One controller has truly upped my gaming experience with its exceptional build quality and innovative features. The controller's solid construction not only feels durable but also provides a comfortable grip for extended gaming sessions.

The standout feature is undoubtedly the rechargeable battery, eliminating the need for constant battery replacements. The convenience is taken to the next level with the USB-C connection for charging, ensuring a quick and efficient power-up process. This modern and efficient charging method adds a layer of practicality that enhances the overall user experience.

The responsive buttons, textured grip, and sleek design further contribute to the controller's appeal. The "Remix" is not just a controller; it's a reliable companion for immersive gaming. If you're in search of a top-tier Xbox One controller with solid build quality, a rechargeable battery, and the convenience of USB-C charging, the "Remix" is the ultimate choice.

Seems like it’s used

Good controller comes with a rechargeable battery which is why I bought it. But there is scratches on the handles kinda hard to see in the pictures but they are a lot more prominent in person. So it seems like someone had this before me. Other than that it’s good

Don't waste money on the "excellent" condition used controller

Looks cool. Thought for sure getting one that said excellent condition wouldn't look like a dog used it for a toy though. My advice is pay the extra for new which is what I normally do but thought it would be ok if I didn't do it this one time.

Looks awesome

Great quality

Best Controller Yet

Been a big fan of Elite controllers since they came out. When you play enough games, paying a bit more for something that you use that much just makes sense.

(Enjoy my cinematic video of the opening of the controller, the song is the Starfield theme, so no copyrights have been hit)

LITTLE HISTORY

Let's just say, I am curious to why I continued with them because the first one I got had a terrible stick drift. The second one I bought off a friend would just die after 2 hours of game play and the last one of the first generation, you guessed it... had a terrible stick drift.

Oddly enough the stick drifts were on fairly new Elites, less than a year old. When I sent in a return or repair request, Microsoft all but told me to go stick where the sun does not shine, well for most people anyways.

SECOND GENERATION

I will applaud MS for this version. They are well made, durable and the one I have has a built in battery that never ever died. I threw the controller a few times, much to the dismay of my wall that I had to repair... why? Trying to fly that flipflapper broom stick in Hogwarts was near impossible in a race. But anyways...

It lasted a good 4 years. In all honesty it shouldnt of lasted a year with the abuse I gave it, so I felt we evened out some. But the controller was awesome and I enjoyed it.

STARFIELD

Yeah I had to force myself to stop playing the game. It consumed my life for a month. But during that time I bought the "limited edition" (I mean only half million were made right, I guess thats limited edition). It was an impulse buy when I was in my planet hopping daze.

Was I pleasantly surprised. This controller is by far the best controller I have ever used. The grips feel just right, the triggers have this little extra texture, the thumbsticks work perfect (no drift) and the D pad thing is gold and precise.

Wish it had an internal battery but I have rechargable batteries so they don't run out too often.

For the few extra bucks, even if you don't like or play Starfield, this controller is well worth it.

Just don't try to fly those garldarn brooms in hogwarts with it!!!

Better than I expected

Pros:

- Really comfortable to hold

- Good textured feel on the back, I can't imagine dropping this thing by accident unless I consciously tried to

- Weight is light but not cheap-feeling, compared to my PS4 controller which is light as well, but doesn't feel as premium

- The stellar shift is by far the most beautiful design imo -- totally worth the 1 week wait without prime.

- Pairs flawlessly with PC with no further action required on your part, just turn on pairing mode by holding down the pairing button on the front of the controller for 3 secs and Windows should just detect it and prompt you to pair.

- Also pairs automatically to Steam which is my original use case for this device.

- Buttons feel sturdy and tactile. While PS4 controller wasn't mushy by any means, this thing blows it out of the water.

Cons:

- Price, it's a bit expensive but if you're playing a lot of controller heavy games then this is probably the best one on the market imo, especially if you're a Steam gamer.

- D pad i feel is in a weird place compared to what I'm used to on the Steam Deck and PS4 controller, but that may be just because I've never used an XBOX controller before. This will probably subside as I get used to the layout and is nitpicking at worst.

Overall a pretty good buy. Gonna keep testing it out but right now I am playing Honkai Star Rail and it works flawlessly.

LOOKS BETTER IN PERSON!!! 👍

No matter what anyone says Xbox has always released some AMAZING special edition controllers!

I've been waiting for this specific color for some time just because of the color shifting aspect of it and it definitely doesn't disappoint! All I can say is that this controller needs to be seen in person and especially in the daytime or by the sunlight.

The matte color isn't glossy but glitters and shines depending on the angle the light hits it. The matching buttons and the contrasting grayish matte directional pad and home buttons just go so well together! The finishing touch is the rubber grip on the back. Not only is it a real rubber authentic grip but the rubber literally runs down the entire back handle. Microsoft also decided to tie-dye the rubber giving it a purple-ish swirl color scheme that goes so well with the rest of the controller!!! 💯

Great Controller! Good Quality

I only game on PC and i have purchased so many controllers in the past and was never satisfied with any, then one day i decided to just buy an original wireless xbox controller and i fell in love with the comfort, design and quality! I got this color not only because it looked cool but it also have grips! Cause the other ones are a soft slippery shell. I been using it for a week or less and it's been working great with no issues.

Very cute and no problems at all

It’s adorable I love the color and the grips on the back are that almost rubber feeling rather than the plain bumpy texture on regular controllers. I do wish that grip looked different I don’t like the pattern on them so much but I can’t see it 90% of the time anyways. Definitely a good purchase especially when it was the same price if not less than a white or black one

Coolest looking controller!

Love how this controller not only looks awesome but works just as good as the xbox controller that comes with the xbox. Also great to use when my husband and I both want to play we have an extra remote!

20 anniversary edition is worth it.

Love the look. The transparent face plate is fantastic. The neon green grips are perfect. Most of all Don't just toss the back battery plate. (if your gonna put in rechargeable batteries that use a different plate). There's a special treat back there that makes it even more special.

Feels Speedy in the Hands.

The side grips feel like a steering wheel and really helps with the immersion of driving. It somewhat tricks the brain into thinking that you are going as fast as you see your car go in the game.

Espectacular
