It won’t work on Bluetooth.
It constantly disconnects and you lose sound so you have to turn it off. Turn it back on or unplug it. And for the first several months, I had it I would get constant updates which was a bit annoying.

I tried two other headsets - BlueParrot with Bluetooth and the Jabra Engage 45SE. I have a Cisco CP-8851 desk phone. The BlueParrot device was heavy and hot, and the audio would cut out in middle of every call. The Jabra (same manufacturer) had horrible sidetone (my own voice was rattling in my ear.) Neither of those interfaces with the Cisco phone and my computer. I am not a techie. 56 YO female with no time for nonsense. The Engage was challenging to plug into the charger and the Blue Parrot had to charge with a USB cord.
This Yealink headset is FABULOUS! It is so comfortable, easy to use, and interfaces with my phone in ways the other two devices did not deliver at all. Incoming calls are easy to retrieve, long battery life. Excellent audio, no feedback. With the touch of a button I am using it with Teams calls and meetings. It is wonderful. I have not used it with Zoom yet, but expecting similar results.
There are some wires to deal with, as it is USB plugged into both my computer and my phone. Shown in photos. But the freedom, comfort and usefulness I have gained are well worth a few wires. If you need a wireless headset and have a Cisco desk phone, save yourself some shopping and just get this one! Oh and by the way, this was about $73 less expensive than the Jabra Engage. Hands down, buy this one. If it was the same price, I would 100% buy this one!!
Excuse messy desk. CPA with long hours right now...

I have to say my favorite part is the base which charges and holds the headset.
I've had no problem with connecting, sound quality, any of that. It has been used in a noisy environment (factory) with no problems both wireless and wired.
All in all, great headset.

This yealink headset has phenomenal range. Not only that the headset is very comfortable to wear. In addition to being comfortable to wear the headset integrates very tightly with teams and zoom video conferencing. What I mean by that is by raising or lowering the microphone you can automatically mute or unmute your teams and zoom calls. For this to work you have to install the yielding software on your computer to set the proper options for this integration to work.
The company's been very good about sending regular firmware updates.
Headset also has some other functionality that I am unable to test because I do not own a ye link phone system. The battery life is excellent as is the voice quality and noise reduction. You can charge the headset on its stand or use a USBC cable to plug in the headset directly for charging.

Headset is lightweight, comfortable with adjustable head band and soft cushioned ear cover. It's easy to setup and the audio comes through clear and concise, cancelling out any background sounds. My BT connection does go in & out a few times daily, but it comes right back on within 30 seconds or so. The battery lasts for quite a while before needing to be charged. I worked for an entire week, battery needed charging on the 7th day, and took only a couple of hours to reach full charge. Overall this is a good hybrid headset that is made with quality and delivers clear sound.

I'm using this headset for work. I have it plugged into the USB port on my PC and set it as the default headset for the 8x8 work app. Call clarity is great.
I like the cradle, as it has a solid snap connection and an LED light showing when it is charging. The cradle has a small footprint and doesn't take up much space.
The headset has multiple methods to mute calls. You can raise the mic to the vertical position or hit the red button on the mic itself.
The headset is comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time.

I’ve been using the Yealink WH64 Mono-Ear Teams headset for some time, and It’s kind of a beast. I grabbed it because I needed something reliable for back-to-back Teams meetings, Zoom calls, and the occasional phone chat while pacing around the house like a caffeinated squirrel. This thing delivers.
First off, the range is wild. I don’t know who measured 606 feet, but I walked all the way to the mailbox mid-call and didn’t drop a single word. That’s like... half a football field? Maybe more? Anyway, it’s far. And it works.
The sound quality is super clear. The 3X noise cancelling mic actually does its job—I’ve had people say they couldn’t hear my dog barking or the leaf blower outside. That’s a win. I sound crisp, not robotic, and there’s no weird echo or delay. Even on my old desk phone, it sounds better than the wired headset I used to swear by.
Comfort-wise, it’s great. I was worried about the mono-ear design, but it’s lightweight and doesn’t pinch. I’ve worn it for 4–5 hours straight and didn’t feel like my ear was being punished. The padding is soft, and the headband adjusts easily without feeling flimsy.
Battery life? Solid. I’ve used it for full workdays and haven’t had to recharge mid-shift. The 26-hour call time seems legit—I’ve only charged it twice since I got it. The ringtone feature is kinda cute too—it lets me know when a call’s coming in even if I’m not staring at the screen.
Bluetooth and DECT pairing both work smoothly. I’ve connected it to my laptop, desk phone, and cellphone without any drama. Switching between devices is pretty seamless once you get the hang of it. The manual was a little dry and had a few typos, but setup was easy enough that I didn’t need to read it twice.
Overall, this headset is a workhorse. If you’re juggling calls, meetings, and random interruptions all day, it’s worth every penny. Would definetly recomend. Might even get one for my brother—he’s still using wired earbuds like it’s 2012.

This is actually the second Yealink headset I've tested, after previously ordering a WH63. I had very few complaints with that one, but I think Iike this one even better!
Full disclosure, I am not the intended user for one of these; I don't work in a call center or an office, so many of the features (like on hold lights and wired phone connections) aren't things I tested. What I do have is a home office and occasional voice and video calls to make.
This means that I primarily used it attached to a computer via USB, and that was about as simple as it could be. I plugged it in, it was recognized, and both audio and mic were functioning with minimal effort.
The audio quality was good, with no latency even in live tasks (something Bluetooth headsets always struggle with). The mic quality is what I would call "phone quality". It wasn't as clear as a dedicated desktop microphone or headset, but sounded like you would expect from a reasonably clear regular phone call.
The two things that set apart from the previous model were the comfort and the button functions. Comfort-wise, it's a large and light weight one-ear foam pad rather than an over-ear or an earpiece, and I found this extremely comfortable, even as someone who tends to have issues wearing headphones comfortably. The button improvement came in the form of a small power switch at the back of the earpiece (odd issue, but the previous one wouldn't turn off easily if you unplugged the base), and a super-convenient "flip up to mute" microphone function.
The only place I struggled was with a mobile phone Bluetooth connection. My phone recognized two instances of the same device while syncing, but neither seemed to work for audio in or out. I'm guessing I could figure it out with some work, but it was definitely less plug-and-play than the PC comnection.
Overall, though, this seems like a top quality headset, even for home office and casual use. Definitely gets a recommendation from me!

How perfect for working from home. I like the one ear-design, which lets me keep one ear open to be aware of what's going on in the background. The range on this set is great! Pairing was seamless. Doing remote working, nearly everything is accomplished by computer and telephone. This headset works great for all those hours of calls taken during the workday--less chance for ear fatigue that can occur with in-ear headphones or ever the dual, traditional headphones.
Very good quality headset.

I have my main office and desk at home, where I have a pair of wireless headphones, but this summer I felt I was sitting too much and put a mini home office in the basement with a stand-up desk.
At this basement office, I had put on a pair of wired headphones, but I have found that in meetings, since I am standing, I want to wander around a little bit, especially for the listen-only meetings.
I thought this would be a nice upgrade for my basement office, so I could still listen in without being wired to my desk.
The range is very good as I haven't hit my limit yet. Now, granted, I haven't tried walking down the block, but any place in my house that I go, I am still connected.
I like how I have the mute button on the headset, too. So that way, if it is a meeting where I need to participate, I can still do so without having to rush back to the computer to unmute myself.
I am very happy to have this upgrade to my basement office!

I have tried this headset 4 different times and then decided that I am tired of looking like an idiot while on meetings. The sound quality starts out good but it keeps "re-adjusting" the volume of the headset regardless of what my volume is set at on my computer. It makes it really hard to hear people sometimes and I can't pay attention to what they are saying when I am constantly trying to adjust the volume of the headset. I dont know if I got a faulty one or if they are all like this but I don't trust it.
I will say that it does whisper that you have an "incoming call", it's sleek, comfortable, and does have some nice redeeming features, but with the sound quality, there is nothing that this could have that would make me endorse it as a good headset. Bummed out considering the price is high. Not worth it in my opinion.

DECT and Bluetooth mono headset compatible with Microsoft teams, features single over the year headphone with wireless docking station, super high-quality noise, isolation and one touch call answer, and call ending. You can swivel to microphone up to automatically mute, this headset is comfortable enough to be worn for hours at a time without any ear strain. Super impressive and well worth every penny, perfect for anybody whether you work from home or inside an office. Plug-in play with any modern computer.

This headset is comfortable to wear for long calls, and the sound quality is crisp on both ends. The noise-cancelling mic works well, keeping my voice clear even with background noise in the room. I like that it connects quickly and stays stable throughout my workday without dropouts.
The range is impressive — I can walk to another room and still hear perfectly. Battery life easily lasts me multiple days before I need to recharge. It’s lightweight, and the adjustable headband helps it fit just right without feeling tight.
Overall, it’s been a reliable and comfortable headset that makes long hours of work much easier.
Drago
Connecting to the PC and to mobile phone was straight forward with no issues. Lightweight at 3.27 Oz. and mostly comfortable to wear. Although a dual headset speaker might offer a little more comfort, I prefer the mono to keep one ear open to hear surroundings and easier to speak to others. Lift the boom mic to mute the call, or there's a pronounced mute button on the boom.
All control buttons are pronounced and easy to find by feel. I do like the dedicated Microsoft Teams button for secure communications within the organization.
Noise reduction (Sample in video) was excellent for my usually noisy environment. Very satisfied with the quality and function on calls and voice-overs for instructional videos I create.
The investment would be worth the value 5* if one uses the capabilities of the headset often.

This yealink WH64 mono headset is very good. Even though at first I had problems with the mute function not working consistently and reliably. A few months later a firmware update fixed that problem. Been using it for several months now and it's very comfortable and integrates well with teams and zoom.
If you load the ye link app onto your desktop you'll have even greater functionality.
The range on this thing is pretty incredible. I was able to go a good 50 ft away from my desktop and the sound audio remained crisp and clear. And that 50 ft away was through four walls two of which are outside walls with foil faced insulation.
The headset can be charged via a USB-C cable or by merely resting it in its dock. The doc comes with a power supply but I don't believe it's necessary as I only have the doc connected to my computer via USB Cable and it appears to function fine. You can also also use the headset as a wired headset by plugging in a USBC cable between the headset and your computer.
The headset also integrates with desktop phones via the connector on the back of the base, but I suspect that is only with a yealink branded phone.
Nowadays even after a few months I notice every once in a while The headset will not mute properly when raising or lowering the boom, It sometimes will also fail to connect and I have to turn it off and back on. Both of those issues are rather infrequent and I can still wholeheartedly recommend the headset to make your work day and video conferencing more enjoyable and reliable.

This office headset has lots of great features. It offers both thee security of dect calling (landine etc) , and wireless bluetooth connectivity. The base's display has several lighted display icons likee battery life and phone, as well as charging for the headset. The headset is padded well with decntly placed buttons. The audio quality for calls is very good, while bluetooth music is flat. You can charge using a USBc port on the headphones as well as using it for direct connection to a laptop. I like the red and green "in use" light. The microsoft button makes it a perfect choice for those using that platform.
Linda Roebuck
It gets the job done but don't give me a lot of range. Easy set-up.

This is actually my 2nd Yealink mono (one ear) headset. My first other one did not come with a base, but DOES come with a DECT USB dongle to connect it to your computer, plus the bluetooth option. I positively love the quality and versatility of this product. For those not familiar, DECT is a specific frequency/connection protocol that is utilized by the headset, through its base, to connect to the your computer via USB. The base also serves to charge the headset. DECT connections are very strong and you are supposed to be able to walk up to 600 feet away without dropping the connection. I haven’t tested that, but I work from home and I HAVE walked throughout the house, outside in the back yard, and in the front yard, the laptop remaining in the office the entire time.
The versatility comes from the fact that this headset is ALSO bluetooth and will connect to all standard bluetooth devices, including your laptop, smartphones, etc. So, when not using with your computer, they can serve in other capacities as well.
Yes, they’re a little pricey, but the ability to extend your work environment, the versatility of using it in 2 different modes and the quality of the product (rock solid) makes them WELL worth it…
HIGHLY recommended!

I use this for my home work set-up. It is my first time using a headset with only one earphone, but it’s not an issue since my setup is pretty quiet, and I like being able to hear if someone rings our doorbell or my husband needs to stick his head in to ask me a question. (He doesn’t talk to me when I’m in meetings, but I’ll wear it when I’m listening to music or attending a webinar.) When I turn it on, since I’ve already paired it via bluetooth, it will automatically connect to my computer. It does also come with a dongle, for if you aren’t using bluetooth to connect. A feature I love is that when you flip up the microphone piece, it automatically goes on mute and will automatically switch mute off when you flip it back down. It has a small mute button but flipping it up and down is much easier and my preferred way to use it. The band that helps hold it on your head is adjustable. I’ve found the sound quality good and the earphone with the band comfortable. When I’ve used it for calls, coworkers have said they can hear me clearly and there have been no connection issues. I do like that the charging is built into the holder for the headset, so I don’t have to worry about watching it’s charge or ever grabbing it and having it low on battery.

This is an amazing product , they are affordable they sit good on my ears, the audio is clear, I had used them all day and they still had 80% of battery, I would recommend, they look exactly like they picture,

EDIT #1: This is an update to my original review. I ran into a problem with my Dell laptop where it wouldn't reconnect with the WH64, so I removed it and re-added it in the Bluetooth settings. That seemed to clear up the reconnection issue, and, as a bonus, it eliminated the low volume issue I originally had. Assuming my initial setup was just a fluke, and this is how it's supposed to be, I've raised my rating from 3 to 4 stars.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This is a hybrid DECT and Bluetooth headset by Yealink that covers one ear and includes a charging stand. Yealink is a well-known brand for telephone tech for businesses and call centers. I've used their corded headsets extensively, but this was my first wireless headset from them.
While the lack of a cord is convenient, I've had several issues with my WH64.
First, my box did not include the DECT dongle. Not sure if it's an oversight or if it's just this particular configuration that lacks it (as the manual does mention pairing if the dongle is bought separately), but the description implies that it was supposed to include it.
Second, the volume when connected via Bluetooth to my Dell laptop is fairly low. I have the sound cranked up to the max and it's still on the low side. This may be a deal-breaker for me.
In terms of comfort, the headband feels small, even at its fully extended length. Maybe it's just the shape of my head, but I haven't had issues with other Yealink headsets.
The charging stand is fairly low profile, but the included charging cable is hard-wired to the base and it uses a USB-A connector.

100% recommend and worth the dime. I work from home and often have time in between calls so I get ip and work around the house. This has a crazy range. My office is upstairs and I go downstairs into the garage, laundry room and even mail box which is across the street near the near the near the next block over and I am still able to get a call. Calls are clear, voice is high even on the low, charge it up every 2 days 16hrs on the phone plus personal time as it also connects to my cell phone. This is great. Got it hooked up to the computer and cellphone. Prior to this during brakes or lunch I would have to get my earbuds to make personal calls, now I just want around with it on and it does the job. Very comfortable and love that is only one ear. The ear cushion is very comfortable and quite spongy. Wipes clean. To answer a call you just bring down mouth piece and say your hellos. The sound is amazing and the noise cancelling is pretty good. I have two ShihTzus that are my shadows and often bark are invisible things so when I am on the phone my husband says he feels their barks in his ear. He can't say that anymore. The price is a little hefty, but honestly for the quality, the range, the connectivity to multiple devices... that sold me. It comes with it's on charging dock, and charging cable USB-C if you don't want to use the cock and a carrying bag. It is Bluetooth but it is also USB plug in. The ear piece is made of a very soft and breathable material that doesn't make your ears sweat. It is for one ear but it is interchangeable so each ear can take it's turn. All of the controls are on the earpiece. I love that it tells you how much juice is left before you need to charge it. I love and think it's worth it.

Design wise, this is a five star. It's light, looks fantastic on the charger and has a professional to the whole thing. It comes in a nice storage bag (with a little separate pouch for the dongle that helps keep it safe), and both the headset and charger are very light but sturdy. The headset clicks right in nicely for charging. That makes this very easy to keep charged on your desk, and looks great there. The battery life lasts far longer than a day anyway, so you don't even have to charge it often. Wearing this is also comfortable, and has okay audio quality, especially for a one-ear design. I do get some weird disconnects with it mid-talk, that I haven't been able to avoid. But despite that annoyance, for overall ease of use, this is nice.
Ain'tNothinFiner
Sometimes this headset gives me trouble. The noise cancelling works fine for people on the other end of my call, but sometimes on my end I hear some static. It fits fine on my head, but on occasion it has ripped a strand or two of my hair out.

I really like this headphone. It’s great for professional use because of its simple design and great build quality. It’s easy to set up and use. The leather is comfortable, but I'm not sure if it’s durable. It holds a charge well and is easy to recharge using the stand. The sound quality is good with no lag anywhere. I particularly like the DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) option, a technology I’ve never heard about before. I realized it works on lower frequencies, resulting in longer range and less drops. Overall, this headphone is comfortable, durable, and delivers excellent sound and performance.

Easy to unpack and set up by connecting a USB cable between the headset holder and your computer and plugging in the holder to a power source. You'll want to go the the Yealink support site and download the Yealink USB Connect software.
Holding the slider switch on the headset in the fully up position for a few seconds flips the headset into bluetooth pairing mode and it connects easily to your computer. While in Bluetooth mode, it functions as a very comfortable talking headset. Only one earpiece, so not stereo and mediocre sound quality though it does let you hear what is going on in the office at the same time. (I don't like this.). In my mind, its no better than any number of cheap bluetooth phone headsets. I give it props for excellent noise cancellation.
With a DECT connection, it is a different headset. Better functions and an AMAZING range. I took an elevator down from the 2nd floor of my office building to the parking lot, jumped in my car and didn't hear a glitch or pop in the sound at a range of over 300 feet. Used with Teams phone and Skype, and it worked well with each. A dedicated Voice Assistant / Teams button is nice, as is the mute button on the microphone boom - you can also mute and unmute the mic by rotating the boom up and down like most gaming microphones.
The charging dock keeps cables at bay and neat and lets you put the headset out of the way when you aren't on a call.
Overall, this is a really good headset with excellent battery life and range when in DECT mode. It is very comfortable to wear on long calls, but the sound quality isn't such that you'll want to use it for listening to music and any high-quality audio. i think the dual headphone version is probably better because I prefer not hearing noise around me.
I recommend it for Teams or other dedicated collaboration environment calls. You could do better for less $ if you just need a headset.l

Hackers are perfectly capable of getting into your voice calls if you are using a wireless headset and getting your personal and business information. DECT(Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) was designed to not only prevent this, but also alllowing you to extend your cordless range up to 500 feet.
This wireless headset from Yealink uses the new 6.0 DECT standard to not only give you secured communications up to 492 feetbut also the ability to connect via Bluetooth and DECT. I was able to walk out of my neighborhood and back and still stay connected and engaged in my phone calls
The WH64 model is sleek and stylish, with a black color that is - well - stylish. You get 32-hour talk time and it only takes 1.5 hours of charging time tp get a full charge.
The workstation itself is small and doesn't take up very much desk space. It will connect through either a USB cable, USB EHS62 adaptor, or Bluetooth. For a professional the unit is designed to be compatable with MICROSOFT Teams, ZOOM, GOOGLE, and Most Mainstream UC Conferencing Platforms. As a work at home business owner this headset really has it all, and so far it's the best I have used.
OVERALL - If you need to integrate with a team anvironment, there is no other choice but a YEALINK. Keeper!
Tony
I got this to use with my computer for work. And it does work well when connected to a computer. It does appear to be quality made and offers a lot of features. I've worn it for 8 hours plus and it is very comfortable to wear. The sound quality is quite good as i'm able to be heard and I can hear quite well. The con that Ive found is It doesn't come with all the accessories needed to use it with a business phone. Additional cables are needed to connect to a phone that are not included. And you would need to purchase at an extra cost.
NS
I have this for my PC and it's been great so far! Previously had been using my gaming headset or calls but I think the mic quality has diminished and found this product. The yealink brand ahs some pretty good IP Phones and thought why not try this headset. It is spectacular! The call quality is great, range is superb and you can update the firmware if there are through the universal yealink app you can download from their site. It's great for teams calls and the mic is super clear according to the other side. It's made meetings easy and the best part? Comes with a pouch or me to put in my bag so it protects it while travelling.

I have been looking for exactly this type of headset for a while: One ear - not two. On ear - not over. DECT with base station - not Bluetooth (although this has Bluetooth as well).
I had not heard of this brand before so was a little skeptical but that soon disappeared. THIS IS A GREAT HEADSET.
In the box you get the headset, the DECT base station, power supply, a USB-A/USB-C cable, a USB-A/micro-USB cable and a carry bag for the headset.
I'm not using the carry bag, nor am I using this headset in Bluetooth mode - I am not able to review those things.
I am using MS Windows 10 with "new" MS Teams. The set up for the headset is easy:
Plug in power, connect to the USB port and wait for windows to install the driver.
I let the headset charge up overnight and then hit a full day of conference calls, about 10 hours worth.
The audio quality is first class, both incoming and outgoing.
The battery lasted all day. The "lift mic to mute" functionality is great.
The teams integration is really good: Mute on the headset mutes in Teams. Removing the headset from the base answers the call. Returning it to the base ends it. The only bug I've found is, using the mute button brings the main teams window to the foreground, hiding the call - a minor inconvenience.
I would not have originally considered a brand I did not know at this price point, but I would now! This is a great headset - 5 Stars
