Been using the Yolobox Ultra since July 2025.
I found the Ultra provides the ability for high quality productions efficiently.
Being a production crew of one with a desire to stream live sports, needed something that would meet certain demands and the Ultra has delivered.
Highly recommend

I wanted to love this thing, but its hot garbage. In the year I've had it, it freezes, lags and drops the stream. Recently went to give it another shot, it wouldnt turn on, then I noticed the case and display is deformed. the battery gave up the ghost while being stored at 80%. I wrote the manufacturer but never heard back, I suspect thats because I was 3 days out of warranty. Now I gotta figure out how to dispose of this 1400 brick safely. Please dont waste your hard earned cash. Other reviewers are reporting the same or similar. I thought it wouldnt happen to me, but I was wrong. Good luck to you!

Bought a yolo ultra a little over a week now. Already the device is not charging. Battery staying at 1%. Love the device, frustrated at the charging issue.

Incredible power and an affordable price! Perfect for vertical streaming or horizontal streaming with great sound quality and control as well video controls. Seems to dissipate cause heat build up very well for maximum output speed and quality. 10/10

Surely Yolobox Ultra transformed the quality of my lives, before I could barely do a live in 1080p, I had to make the Bithate lower so as not to drop frames because I think my MacBook couldn’t handle the message, now I can do live in 4k with 35000 bithate, without loss of frames, and the quality is absurd, not to mention the amount of resources and practicality that the device provides, I never want to do live without this device again, I liked it too much.

So after the battery stopped working. I was able to get threw customer support and they swapped my non-working battery one for another Ultra.. they even gave me a screen protector and another charger... good company...
The Yolobox itself is a powerhouse and a very nice gadget to have for a podcast.. its not just for livestreaming.. I record with mine..

it's not perfect but for this size and capabilities it's a cool thing. it didn't work for me normally deck had to be returned and also if the cameras are set to different formats it can lag but overall I'm happy

I’m so happy, I purchased this product,…
This is the best tool for my live stream, easy to use, I recommend Yololiv 100%

Right out of the box we live streamed a local City Council Meeting with no rehearsals and no issues. I've been in TV production for years and I'm constantly amazed at all the tasks this machine can do. Multicamera sync'd switching, graphics overlays (name keys), picture in picture (two person conversations), audio mix minus (for remotes), internal recording, live streaming to two destinations, and even instant replay! We've had ours for six months and the developers are extremely good in their software refinements fixing little things and gradually adding new features. Highly recommended!

We followed the instructions of our business advisor, Samuel F. Robinson. We had yet to learn that the Yolobox Ultra was so impressive.

I like how this product makes it easy for you to switch and stream. I have been trying to stream in 4K on the older black magic software but if I wanted to, I have to upgrade my equipment and pay an arm and a leg. I like how this ultra is very affordable, but it also packs a punchand I also love how streaming vertical is a lot easier now. It is also great for podcasts with its video follows audio feature, making it very simple to have a completed podcast after the recording is finished in conclusion. I love how the ultra does so many things, but it leaves such a small footprint. Looking forward to more upgrades from this product and I’m also looking forward to more people using this because it makes Streaming so much easier.
Best Quality

Dropped frames, constantly lagging - want it for the instant replay like I did? Well too bad. It will freeze up and not save for you to replay it. Want to record all inputs and replay all inputs? Too bad, can only pick 2 of each. But wait there's more, it has to be 720p at 30fps to do that! Can only do 1 input each if it's 1080p. I have 1g business internet (up and down) .... so its not a network issue.
Want to lose money at every event you live stream because its trash?!?! Well buy this!

I was just looking at this product and felt shocked by this photo that seemed to claim that the device resolution would improve brightness and contrast. This is a great example of fake promises.

I've been using the Yolobox Pro since September 2023 for my church and when the Ultra came out, I had to buy one for my business. I'm a videographer and and have always switch live during my events, with the Yolobox Ultra, everything just got better. I also Livestream and can project the program to the audience with friends calling into the events, my clients cannot be happier. Another powerful feature is the NDI connectivity of three devices which I have - 3 OBSBOT Tail Air PTZ cameras.
The resources from Yololiv is amazing when learning the use of the Yolobox Ultra. There are YouTube weekly Livestreams, Tutorials, Anthony and Frank from Yololiv's Tech Tip videos are great, Ballast Media and other great content creators on YT are amazing. There is so much value in this portable device. Get one you will be happy you did.

I do live stream to instagram and facebook... and I have used many other platform before (Mac based Mimolive, OBS etc...)This simplify the setup for a good multicam stream without the need of a computer.Just about all bells and whistles you ever need...
This pretty much has it all, HDMI, USB IO and NDI Works! you can use your iphone wirelessly as additional video source!
1 feature that YoloBox Ultra (and instream) has that so far NO Other platform has... is the ability to run Native Instagram app within the box...
Why is this cool? because you get all the features that an RTMP stream don't... such as... Accepting Live Guests!! With other platform you have to use another client etc... to bring guests in... and still... it is not quite the same... When you go live with a guest... the guests' follower also get notified about live... this will gain you more viewers...
Frequent software updates!! fixing bugs, and adding features! The facebook group is very active!
I am really happy with this purchase!!

I have been through 5 different, disappointing streaming hubs in the last 3 years, and I have to say, this is the best I've found, with all the bells and whistles, right at your fingertips in a beautifully laid out touchscreen GUI! You can stream to 5 different platforms. Like YouTube, Twitch and Facebook in horizontal mode, or 2 different destinations, like Instagram and TikTok in vertical! Or, you can just turn on USB-C out and stream to any streaming platform, like Streamyard for example, emulating a webcam! Plus, you can add a USB-C webcam as an output and have 5 cameras running, which I sometimes need. It can also work in tandem with other switchers.
For presentations in Zoom, there is nothing better to make you look like a pro.
There is 4K live broadcasting, and everything is packaged nicely on a 8" display that puts out 650 nits, so no squinting to see it in direct sunlight. With the 865 Snapdragon CPU, the touchscreen menus and performance is instantaneous. They claim 6 hours of battery run time, but I have streamed for 4 hours with this and then forgotten to turn it off. It still had battery life after 9 hours.
For sporting events (which I don't personally do), there is a scoreboard overlay feature as well as instant replay! You can really do professional looking live broadcasts at sporting events.
For the live streamers, it has built in ISO recording. You can record the program out, or the program and all or some cameras individually with an SD card or external hard drive. If you're on the go, it also has cellular bonding. You can bond 2 USB modems, 1 4G LTE and even 1 Wi-Fi source! You can even add the Ethernet bonding for an incredible uninterrupted stream. If you're in a low signal area, you can opt-in to the NDI HX3 & SRT!
The graphics overlays and lower thirds are a necessary feature to any live streamer, and so is the ability to invite guests! This switcher has it all.
The last device I had (and still have) is the ATEM ISO Extreme, and it was good, and in fact, I still use it in tandem with the YoloLiv when I need more cameras. But nothing even comes close to the YoloLiv Ultra! If you're like me, and you want all the features for a pro livestream at your fingertips, this is the encoder/recorder to get.
And if you need help? It's at your fingertips! The support staff is always there to answer my (user error) problems lickity split! And I do have a lot of user error issues :-)
This is not a paid or free product review! I paid full price for it and I'm extremely happy with the purchase as a real user!

This is my third yolobox device and this device is really great in terms of portability & mobility.
My livestreaming journey was started with First model Yolobox and now i have purchased the latest version Ultra.
I am using this for livestreaming cricket matches. Streaming 1080/2K 60 fps with replay functionality and web overlay is leveled up our streaming to professional level.
yoloteam is listening to customers requirements and regularly working on updates to fix the issues to enhance the Quality of streaming.
Thanks to Frank and his entire team

I purchased the Yolobox Ultra for it's NDI capabilities as well as it's ability to add 4 additional HDMI sources, and SRT, Webcam, etc!
I used it to stream the solar eclipse and it performed beautifully with zero dropped frames! Well worth the price!
Also, Yololiv has provided great support for the product. Buy one! You won't regret it!

After conducting extensive research on the available options, I decided to take a chance on live streaming with this product. The results exceeded my expectations, and I was extremely satisfied with its performance. Subsequently, I joined their Facebook support group and discovered the opportunity to engage directly with the product's creators. They demonstrated a remarkable commitment to customer feedback by actively listening to suggestions and implementing them to enhance the product's functionality and user experience.
Recently, after two years of using the Pro version, I upgraded to the latest Ultra model. I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking a reliable and effective solution for live streaming. It has been instrumental in the growth of my business, enabling me to transform my YouTube channel into a successful pay-per-view platform. With the ability to connect up to four cameras with the Ultra version, this product offers exceptional versatility and scalability.
By investing in this product, you can be confident that you are making a sound decision that will contribute to the success and growth of your business.

No need for another streaming device. I use my YoloBox Ultra at least 5x a week and my clients love the results. From podcast to funerals I can have a full production from basically anywhere. I’m a very satisfied customer and you should be one too!!!!

We started using the yolobox about 3 years ago with the yolobox pro and we found it reliable and versatile it allowed us to do switching in studio and remotely when the yolobox Ultra came out that was a game changer!! with a faster processor and more ram it allowed us to incorporate our higher end cameras such as the Sony fx6 into the workflow it is our go to device when we cover NFL Super Bowl media week and all of our professional live streaming events.

I’ve been looking for a truly portable multi-camera video switcher and streamer to build a video production flypack to broadcast youth basketball events. Before I met Yolobox Ultra, a stationary setup in the venue requires a fair amount of time on the site and also requires a sizable space for all the equipment. In a lot of non-pro level tournaments, these are a luxury to ask for.
Now, Yolobox Ultra does a quite good job for me to provide such an on-the-go solution without sacrificing the functionalities I wanted to achieve. It serves as a “swiss-knife” and center piece of my mobile video production flypack.
The Yolobox Ultra is versatile, powerful and portable enough to allow me to do the following:
* 3 camera angles - wide, tight, courtside
* Customizable scoreboard operated directly on the device
* Instant replay from multiple camera angle with transition effect in/out
* Shotgun microphone input
* Live stream to Youtube via WiFi/Ethernet/built-in Cellular
* Sufficient battery life to film multiple games in a row
It’s pretty impressive the device manages to pack tons of functionality in such a small form factor, with all types of physical connectivity ports, such as HDMI, USB Type A, USB Type C, and also supports NDI and SRT video in and out.
And, last but not least, the customer support and engineering team of Yololive is doing a phenomenal job to iterate the software very quickly, new releases with new features and improvements are released almost every two to three weeks. Definitely excited about its potential.

The YoloBox ultra is a compact live streaming tablet-like equipment with 4 HDMI inputs, 2 USB A inputs, 1 USB-C input, another USB-C port for power, a LAN port, a headphone jack, a microphone in and a line-in.
Why I bought the device:
I do sports streaming and taking a powerful laptop, power station, docking station and a bunch of capture cards felt super uncomfortable transporting the items and setting up the whole framework felt like a nightmare and was time-consuming. It also requires a power supply to be provided wherever the stream is set up. YoloBox Ultra is a lightweight tablet that eliminates the need for a capture card and power supply by making it super-easy to set up a multi-camera live streaming wherever you want, very quickly. It offers 95% of the features that software like OBS provides. I carry a 40000 mAh power bank that can power the YoloBox Ultra beyond the 6-hour battery life that the device itself provides, with which, I have streamed games for up to 14 hours continuously without the need of a power supply.
Stability of the stream: The stream feels super-smooth and the interface is very user-friendly. We have the option to choose the encoding settings, bit rate and fps of the stream output along with the recording output. I have heard very positive feedback about our stream's viewing experience from multiple clients of ours till now.
Stand-out features: Network bonding, multi-camera replays, ISO recording, and so on are some of the standout features I have felt.
Drawbacks: I have felt some minor drawbacks like the lack of stinger transitions between video sources, lack of macro automation capabilities, limiting the number of local videos to only 5, lack of folder structure and so on. But these are minor drawbacks for such a portable device. Also, the YoloLiv team is super responsive towards their customers and when we report any problem or possible enhancement, they take our feedback seriously and deliver on it!
One major issue is the pricing. I live in India and the YoloLiv team isn't working on regional-specific pricing. I feel that the Ultra being sold for $1500 may feel affordable for someone from the USA. But here in India, it is hyper-expensive.
Overall verdict: Extremely satisfied. 10 out of 10!

Wow Yolobox Ultra is a Beast of a machine! Amazing features 4k, ISO recording, multi angle replays, NDI, Bonding. This Ultra device is amazing, built well, powerful and every feature works well! A portable touch screen device makes livestreaming easy but professional at the same time. I love being able to ISO record my 3 cameras, then be able to have multi angle live replays instantly. Network bonding has been rock solid for all my streams using 4 connections as you can see in the pictures. I can insert client logos easily, edit scoreboard on the device, it now has a remote app too. NDI is amazing for my wireless Obsbot cameras. I know I can also stream in vertical mode to social media platforms too.

I've owned a lot of live stream systems, but the YB Ultra is the real money maker for me. It's so easy, that I've become lazy. And my other systems just set most of the time.

Just got the device. Nice features but extremely loud fan. See video. Talked with support and they reported that I need to update the system. I did the system update and the fan noise decreased significantly but if the system gets warm the fan noise comes back. The fan sounds like it is scraping against the case. I am returning this because I can't use it in a quiet studio and frankly the quality does not seem up to this type of machine. It's just not ready for prime time.
