i love it! so much better than toni and great for all ages!

It’s really amazing, ive had no issues with it so far. i was debating buying a tonies box for the longest time and right before i ordered the tonies i saw this and thought it would be a good thing to try. let me just say this is 100x better! it’s got a HUGE range of content on the yoto website to buy, from harry potter to bluey, roald dahl to elmo! it’s not as expensive as tonies. with one tonie setting you back 20$, the yoto is so much cheaper! the cheapest cards are about 6$/individual card, and the most expensive (harry potter) are 40. the nightlight and alarm clock is awesome! i love the daily podcast and free radio. the cards are easy to store, and it’s good for the car. overall i love yoto and i’d 100% reccomend it to any parent of any kid or even adults haha.

There is no phone number for support

Just so you know there is no phone number for customer service, the nighlight stopped working, the process with customer service has been the worst I have ever experienced. The chat also does not work, instead it just sends an email, if somebody replays it takes 2 days to get an answer and they will ask you to try something else, when i gave them my order info so they can see yoto still under warranty, its 4 months old!!, they never answer again. Never again, I would do anything else if you could because if the customer service is bad it makes the product un useful. NOT WORTH IT!!!! And honestly, the resolution will do, but most companies would have done better.

Great buy!

LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Very good size and battery life is pretty good. We use it everyday! And almost all night for sound machine. My toddler loves it! Hate that the cards can be really expensive. $14.99 for one card is insane. But I still prefer yoto over tonie. (I don’t let my toddler carry it around at his age but I do let him stick the card in.)

Where to even start?!

So many stories and podcasts and even the included "daily yoto" has been so educational. Battery lasts days and the app is so helpful (I played a story for my kids when I wasn't even in the same city as them using the app). I have two kiddos but only one naps, so we started doing quiet time with my son who stays awake and he listens to his yoto during quiet time. It's so versatile, the cards are super easy to take on the go and not be so bulky like other players having to carry the characters around (Toni). Low stimulating graphics, lots of free options (radio, podcast, Yoto Specials, cleaning timers, White Noise, so much more) and the build and sound quality is toddler tested and passed.

I could go on and on... We love our Yoto!

Yoto box stopped working

After a year of use, our Yoto box stopped working. It will not play the audiobooks when I put the cards in. The numbers are red which indicate that it successfully connected to the internet but it does not play the audiobook when a card is put in. This is very frustrating since we spent a lot of money on Yoto audiobook cards that now we cannot use.

Stopped working

Everything was going perfect. Then almost 2 months later the cards stopped working. So disappointed I bought so many cards and my kids were loving it before this happened. Can’t get a hold of customer service either.

Hard pass - so disappointing

Update: after several months of use, i can confidently say this is a trash product and not an ecosystem worth investing in. I can't figure out things like consistently connecting to bluetooth. Buttons don't do things 9 out of 10 times (pressing and holding, pressing both, double and triple tapping - nothing). Can't have it connected to phone via bt and use the cards at the same time - needlessly interrupting patents and kids alike. And let's not forget about the shamelessly overpriced cards. My son uses it very very rarely and I have to encourage that use. And it certainly didn't replace the tv.

Incredibly underwhelming, disappointing, and overpriced. Kid lost interest immediately. It opens with *instructions*. Can you imagine a kid getting a toy (for listening to music, no less, and sitting through instructions??) Includes ZERO content for enjoyment (we all have phones and access to infinitely more content, so the single radio station (which does not require a card) is moot. You guys couldn't partner up w a SINGLE author or company and include a dedicated card for A SINGLE story so the kid gets it????? And really, There should have been 5 visually striking cards included with something for everyone. That would have made sure it clicked and he was hooked and wanted more. Not just the decent thing to do (esp at this price) but just smart business. And cost you, what, $2???

Further exacerbating it's uselessness, the volume is seriously curbed. Esp for a giant box like this. My phone is probably louder (albeit not as high quality (no complaints there). We're on a walk now and he can't hear anything unless he's right next to me.

There is absolutely nothing in the box to make any first impression whatsoever. Just audio instructions. It's almost like none of the people involved in this have ever been a kid or a parent.

Speaking of money, everything is over-priced. They found ways to do this stuff cheap as dirt and passed ZERO of that onto it's customers. We'll have to commit to buying $20-40 worth of cards to even demo the hardware.

None of us are remotely impressed or interested.

Great learning tool!

I keep this device playing with nature music all day long in my daughter‘s room to keep her calm and relaxed. At night was use it to sleep and we take it to her play room and play fun songs! My daughter has autism and is nonverbal so this is extremely helpful learning device for her. She also loves the stations in different languages!

Best Parent Purchase to date!

I can’t rave about this enough! The Yoto has been a huge win in our home. Our son wasn’t a huge fan of the Toni Box so I was a bit worried he wouldn’t use the Yoto. I was SO wrong. He listens to the Yoto Daily podcast almost everyday and has become a fun morning activity in our home. It’s pretty easy to use once you figure out what each button does, my son has no issue using it at 4. It’s come in handy traveling as irs very easy to bring on the go. If you are on the fence do it! My son’s screen time has decreased drastically since we got the Yoto. It has also really helped him more independently play in his room.

Wonderful tool for the family!

We love they Yoto player. We use it everyday and it’s a great tool for children and adults. It’s built well and the audio quality is excellent. I’ve made a few MYO cards and we have built up our library to be quite big with lots of classics. So glad we bought it.

Highly recommend

Super fun! It has a good range of sound and it’s very easy to use for kids.

Amazing for all ages!!

Best gift ever!!!!!

Got it as a gift from grandparents to our 5y/o and 8y/o. They. Love. It!!!

The cards are pricy but worth it. Also when you download the app there are lots of free stories, radio channels for kids and podcasts.

It’s really easy to set up and use.

The sound quality is surprisingly good.

The variety of stories is amazing! All ages have something cool to listen too.

I would totally recommend it!! It’s really awesome

Hands down it is the best product for small toddlers! Takes away from screen time and my grandsons are loving it. Very educational and 10 times better than Toni! Love, love this product!!
