Excelente

Some neat updates from the version 1, but sadly it feels a lot lower quality wise build wise.

While some of the upgrades from the version 1 is really nice, I can't help but feel this new version just doesn't feel as inspiring in the hands. The materials they are using are lighter and feel a lot cheaper, and the build quality just doesn't feel awesome.

I do love that they got rid of the arm that was on the version 1. Sadly in getting rid of the arm, they took away the side mount option also. At full power the light does get a little loud, same as the version 1. Though the Version 1 is louder.

Unlike the version 1 which was limited to a smaller color range (2700k~6200k), the new one goes all the way up to 8500k while keeping the same 2700k low range for tungsten situations.

I was never really happy with the battery life of the version 1 at full power. I'm glad to say the version 2 works a lot better. I was able to get about 33 minutes at full power on the version 1, while the version 2 at the same power level and color temp was able to get a much higher 53 minutes. The test isn't with 2 completely new units though as my version 1 is about 2 1/2 years old now and purchased in October 2023, so time could of affected battery life. But by the time the Version 1 died, the Version 2 still showed 2 bars of battery life and kept on chugging.

I'm not exactly a fan of the color scheme of this one, but that's because the color scheme of the version 1 I have looks pretty cool. Not going to knock any rating off for that as you can probably get a different version color sooner or later.

The version 2's light beam is A LOT different than the version 1. Where the 1 was a lot more diffused and spread out, the version 2 is a lot more spotty. You can see the difference in the video I posted for the review.

The accessories that come with the version 2 are okay. It has an absolutely horrible hotshoe mount/ball head though. I suggest throwing it away immediately and getting a better one.

Overall the version 2 has a lot of good changes, but the construction quality feels like a major downgrade from the version 1.
