Great cameras I bought 2 wired and 3 wireless no problems at all I’ve had the wired ones for about a year now and the first WIRELESS one I’ve had for about a month and it’s still holding up on the first initial charge the other two WIRELESS I just bought a week ago and again today for other areas of my house. I like everything about them would definitely recommend I’ve inserted a picture of the one in the back that’s Wireless in that area. It’s minimum lighting and you can still see the picture very good. It’s a 10 out of 10.

A must for your DIY home security system

I wanted a camera that I could focus in one main area, but I also wanted a camera that allowed me move the camera to see other areas of interest as needed. I am currently using several of the Zumimall cameras (doorbell, indoor, outdoor), and I was happy to see that they have a battery powered camera that could do what I wanted it to do. I wasn't looking for a camera that required a constant power supply that was plugged in, and this camera can also connect a small solar panel to help charge the internal battery. Even if you don't have the optional solar panel, the internal battery is big enough that you won't need to constantly take the camera down to charge. After more than a week of having the camera in use, I still have 95% charge in the battery. The camera also has two antennas which can rotate if needed to get the strongest signal. My guess (even though I didn't test it to verify) is that this would allow the camera to be setup further away from your WIFI router compared to my other outdoor camera which doesn't have any antenna at all.

This camera was setup over my garage to allow me to have a general view of the front of the house and the ability to pan left or right to see the sides whenever I needed.

Setup was super quick. Since I already had the Zumimall app on my phone, I let it fully charge before turning the camera on. Once I turned it on, I went to the app and selected "add device." The app immediately recognized the new camera, and I was able to follow the rest of the steps to add it to my list of other cameras. This took about 2-3 minutes in total. I personally prefer having a camera system that can connect directly to WIFI via an app instead of a hub. Not only does a hub require it's own power source and an empty ethernet slot on your router, it typically limits the number of cameras that can be connected to it (usually 6 cameras). I have personally connected more than 6 cameras to the Zumimall app without any issues. Everything works as expected.

This camera has a lot of useful features at no additional cost (no subscription required): 2-way talk, screenshot, record, motion detection, audio warning and strobe light, full color mode, and pan/pinch-to-zoom. As previously stated, this camera can move 360 degrees and tilt up and down so nothing is missed.

The motion detection can be customized for detection sensitivity, day or night humanoid detection, as well as a separate humanoid sensitivity. You can also setup the motion detection to automatically turn on or off on a set schedule, and you can also add up to 5 different humanoid alarm areas within the frame.

The picture/video is crisp and clear with up to 6x magnification (pinch-to-zoom). The camera can hold up to 128GB microSD card, and you can have it record directly to the SD card, the cloud, or both. The free service includes up to 6 seconds per clip, but you can optionally pay a subscription to unlock more cloud service features and enhanced AI capabilities (descriptive events, video search, daily recaps, etc). Additionally, video encryption is included as part of the free service to ensure that your videos have an extra layer of protection whether on the SD card or in the cloud.

Overall, this camera fits in well with my existing Zumimall cameras. Everything just works as expected, and I really appreciate that the app connects quickly so I can check in on my home when I'm away. The only thing that I would suggest to make this better is to have automatic motion tracking like I have with my indoor cameras. I have only seen automatic motion tracking included on outdoor cameras that have a constant power supply (plugged in), but hopefully they can find a way to make it work on battery powered units as well in the near future. However, this camera is still a great value for the price, and I would highly recommend it as part of your DIY home security system.

This is the best company for cameras that you can have in your house they have a really good quality of videos and if you have a problem they will fix it without any problems like other companies that they will just leave you on read and without fixing anything and this company it’s the best I have almost 2 years with my camera and it still working in perfectly conditions the first time I bought it was really easy to install and it has a really good sound quality, the last camera I bought it wasn’t charging I don’t know why and I got in contact with the company and they send me a completely new one without any problem that was really nice from the company I will never cheat on this company 🤗

Gentlemen removes IV pole at our request

It works great. Tonight was a perfect example. I recorded a gentleman picking up a piece of medical equipment. He said he would email a receipt in 24 hours, which I didn’t doubt, but to be safe I saved the video of him going down the sidewalk along the side of the house with the equipment. Great clarity on the video. Thanks.

Camera is lightweight but sturdy. The charge last for a significant time. Mounting is easy with the included brackets and hardware. The app for the camera is easy to use and stays updated however you need to make sure you have 2.4ghz available because they do not work on 5ghz. Still very user friendly and super clear picture. Absolutely worth the money and spend the extra for a solar panel!

I love the Zumimall 2K Security Cameras I've purchased. My parent has three, and I have six. Most of mine are outside at various points around the property, and one is inside the garage. These cameras are very easy to set up on the wifi network and also easy to mount. Half of the ones I purchased had solar panel attachments that allowed them to continuously keep the battery charged after the initial charge via the provided USB cable. This is a very nice feature, as it allows a greater time period before I need to drag out the ladder to pull them down for plugging into a socket. The live picture can take a few moments to load, but I figure it has to do with encryption. The image quality is wonderful in both day and night. And there is a switch to allow viewing in color at night. There are a plethora of settings to choose in the config. The unit also has two external antennas that can be rotated to find the best signal. I have one device on the opposite side of the house, but it is still able to connect to the network despite the many walls and the metal roof between my router and the device. I love how the app tells me the current charge level of the battery and the signal strength. But the absolute best feature of the Zumimall cameras is the ability to add an SD card to record things for me to review. There is a history option to review captured motions from earlier in the day and week. It does not require a cloud subscription. Overall, I am very pleased with these devices and will continue to use this brand.

Easy To Use. Great Value

Super easy to install. I used outdoor deck screws to install it to my house (vinyl siding). This is my 2nd Zumimall camera and adding it to the app and getting it up and running was very easy. What I'm most impressed with is the how well it picked up my WiFi signal. Camera is placed about as far away from my router as you can get and the camera has a strong signal. Can't beat the price either.

Excellent Security Camera!

The camera is well constructed and has some weight to it (seems solid). I found the directions to be straightforward. I had no difficulty setting it up and syncing it to my iPhone and iPad. Installing the camera was also straightforward. Once it detects motion, it immediately starts recording and sends me a notification...first with a picture, and then, once the camera is done recording, it provides a video recording for me to look at. The video/audio recordings and pictures it produces are clear...good quality. I have the camera installed on my porch about 12 feet off the ground (see attached picture). So far so good!

I purchased ZUMIMALL and a second camera from a different company. The ZUMIMALL camera is very reliable and takes Great Videos. The real plus is their customer service is Excellent. They are very prompt in responding and give very clear instructions. I returned the other camera and purchased a second ZUMIMALL.

Good for a year

Bought 2 of these back in June 2024. Just a year later and I have to replace them. They will not hold a charge. Even the one connected to a solar panel. I get maybe 2 hours out of it. So great product if you don’t mind replacing them yearly. Oh I don’t like how I can’t save a video to my phone.

Great camera and good value.

I have had this camera awhile now. It really is a good camera. The camera has a 360°View with 2K resolution. The image can be flipped in case you need to mount it upside down.

I like battery operated cameras because you can put them anywhere and move them as needed. This one has a nice tight rubber covering for the charging ports and solar port that protects it will from rain. One feature that is just great is that I get a notification instantly when there is motion in front of the camera. The Zumimall app saves clips also so you do not have to wade through tons of video to find an action video. The clips capture a preview picture so you can tell instantly what you have gotten video of. I get the notification on my phone and on my watch! THAT is a GREAT feature. There are a lot of features that you can turn on and adjust. The spotlight is a great addition too. Battery is pretty good. I have my camera in a very high traffic area, and it lasts a long time.

Great camera for chicken coops and chicken runs!

I purchased this camera to place in my chicken coop and i've had it set up in there for about a month now. I liked it so much that I ended up purchasing another camera to include in my chicken run. It's been a great way to get peace of mind! Setup was honestly a breeze, even adding the camera to the app was easy. The picture quality is great and can change between full color and black and white for night time. The battery life is pretty solid too. I've only had to charge it once since I first installed it, and boy do I check on those babies a lot! I'm also impressed with the connectivity as the coop is a bit further out into our yard from the house. This is a solid buy, especially for the price.

I also love that I didn't need to pay for a cloud storage service to use the app. Instead, I purchased an SD card and still get all the benefits of the app, including motion alerts. With more than one camera now, it's easy to navigate between all the different views in the app as well.

Easy to use and high quality exterior video monitors.

I bought the doorbell with two cameras and was plesently surprised at how easy it was to install and how well it worked.

So I bought this camera, mounted it over the garage door and it was just as easy and the images are beautiful.

The batteries are rechargeable and seem to last a long time. I haven't had to recharge them yet.

The functionality for managing the videos, saving, watching, storing is very easy.

Storing images or videos requires no subscription. Just use an SDHC card or download to your CP.

Versatile camera with great functions

We are using this camera to monitor wild animals that venture onto our property and try to make dens under our greenhouse.

What is unconventional is the mounting. It is mounted inside an ordinary plastic trashcan and aimed at the area being monitored. This serves two purposes...

It makes the camera weatherproof.

It limits the range of motion detection to the area that is focused on.

If you notice the image below, the camera motion detection range was limited to the area around the den that a skunk made under the greenhouse. We had no idea what lived in that den until the camera caught it...

Thanks to the camera, we acquired a special trap for skunks that keeps them from spraying. Otherwise we would not have known that it was a skunk instead of a racoon, and would have used a typical cage trap that we use for racoons... and the result would have been a disaster. We did safely catch the skunk in the skunk trap and it was taken away to a wildlife compound.

The camera also helps us to keep track when the nocturnal animals get trapped. We know from the camera when a trap gets sprung.

And it has easily survived the worst of wind and rainstorms inside the trash can and firmly mounted to the exterior of the greenhouse.

We have moved it around and mounted it anywhere we think a den or tunnel is being created. We have caught 4 racoons and one skunk already and shipped them out. We have also caught 2 rabbits and 2 cats and one opossum, but released them without harm.

We have been very happy with the camera and the very useful functions. And since it is cordless, and weatherproofed inside the trash can, we can put it anywhere on our property as long as it is in range of the WiFi signal.

Definitely recommend this camera

The product has been wonderful! I had another camera prior to purchasing this one. This one is 10 times better! I specifically chose this product due to the wider range of motion. I placed it in front of my dog's crate but I am able to pan my entire living room, some of the den and dining room as well, which I wasn't able to do with my last camera. The picture is clearer and the quality is great! And the biggest plus is that it's rechargeable! I am not a fan of wires and keeping things plugged in. I am able to charge it once the battery is low without having to constantly run up my electricity bill. Overall, I definitely give it a 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend this product! Macho’s favorite place is in front of the fireplace. He loves it there! ❤️

Effective Theft Deterrent

I started using this camera on my front porch so it would alert me when packages were delivered. If deliveries occurred when I was away, I’d call my neighbor and they would bring it to their house until I got home. Then while we were away for 2 weeks I got an alert on my phone and saw 2 individuals at my front door. Through the audio feature I asked why they were on my porch. They said we were on their schedule to do some work inside our home. They were right about that but they had the wrong date. This gave me great satisfaction and confidence in this camera. I had a different brand camera over my garage door that had too much of a delay when it was triggered so I replaced it with the Zumimall GX2S. I uploaded a video to show what happened when there was an attempt to break into my car. I had previously activated the strobe light feature and you’ll see it didn’t take long to prevent what could have been a lot more serious. I recently purchased 3 more for a rental property. Great product and great value!

Picture quality great, mount was easy

I have several ZUMIMALL cameras on my house and this is by far the best one. The motion is a little sticky but the control panel makes it so much easier. It also has amazing picture quality. 10/10 recommend. The mount was super easy and it allows you to side the camera right out when you need to charge

Video has delay

UPDATE = NOV 2022

CAMERA IS WORSE THAN EVER!

I get motion notification, nothing there. Or there is no video. The delay in video startup is a big problem. When it does capture video it is in few second increments. So I record them and then make one longer video myself. However, more times than not when I hit the arrow button to continue I get "video failed" or "lost connection". Without my serial number there is no connection to the cloud. This just blows my mind. I paid my renewal fee before the expiration date. Why couldn't they just continue my service. Why don't they have my serial number connected to my account from last year? Who puts a sticker on the outside of an outside camera knowing it's the only place your serial number can be found? My sticker fell off because of exposure to the snow, the cold, the rain etc. Now I'm dead in the water. Just using SD card which does NOT work as well as having Cloud Service. This Camera is the worst out of all the cameras I have. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS CAMERA OR ANYTHING THIS COMPAMY SELLS.¹

The camera fails to capture movement in a timely manner. Most recently I have a new router with two wireless connections and this camera is running on 2.4, not a problem. The problem is my cloud service is gone & I just renewed it! Customer serv wants the serial to get it back up & I can't find it. Photos show no numbers anywhere on my camera. They stall tactic'd me for months that the girl in their customer service dept who had to appease me with apologies & different ways I could try to find my serial # just up and quit her job!

UPDATE: Still no fix for me. Received a new camera and they want to refund my other cloud service. They just need my paypal transaction number. My purchase was over a year ago. I can't find the transaction or any transaction for Zumimall. Customer service can't tell me the name that the transaction was under and here is why.

"Our PayPal rebate name is not fixed, because it depends on your payment account, so I can't determine the specific rebate name. I apologize."

GLAD I BOUGHT IT

I’ve been using this model for a couple of weeks now, and I can’t find anything to complain about. It is built sturdy, and has good eye appeal. Everything functions as it should, and the App is easy to learn. Just give yourself some time.

I spent a lot of time doing research, and started with the ring doorbell. I opted not to get that because it sits at the side of the door, is too obvious, people have had problems with them being stolen, it is fixed in one position, and I already have a working doorbell anyway. I then began to look at different kinds of security cameras, and that’s when I opened up to the possibilities. The next thing was determining what features I wanted at what price. This ZUMIMALL is packed full of features, and the price can’t be beat. The picture quality is excellent both day and night. Their night vision camera picks up very good detail, and that is without any extra outdoor lighting. I like the way you can pan the camera moving it every which way allowing me to see everything around the front of my house and up and down the street.

Its not just for security. The longer I have it the more practical uses of convenience I have thought of. I get a lot of packages. Now I’m alerted when anything arrives. Even with the motion detector turned off, I can see the front porch (live stream) to check if anything is there. I can talk to a family member sitting on the front porch (without their phone) from anywhere. You don’t have to be sitting by the door when someone is coming to pick you up, same when something needs to be signed for. You will be alerted. And then there are those solicitors that show up trying to sell something that I can deal with over the microphone without ever moving from what I am doing. Upstairs, the bathroom, basement, backyard, cooking at the stove? This camera with the built in mike is very practical in that you can respond in any situation effortlessly. It is also shareable so my wife has the App on her phone with the same benefits.

I got the extra long cable so the camera can be recharged in my situation, without removing it, using a near by outlet.

Great price for a battery operated pan and tilt camera.

I was initially skeptical that I could buy a pan and tilt battery operated camera that worked well in this price range but I was pleasantly surprised.

Really easy to set up on my phone and get connected to Wi-fi. The mounting plate (to attach the camera to the side of your house) seems pretty sturdy and made out of heavy metal.

I popped in an SD card (that I bought separately) so the camera records the times it's activated by motion sensor. Thankfully the motion sensed events are easily accessible in the app. The best part about this camera is being able to pan and tilt to get an idea of what's going on outside without having to get up and look out a window.
