Works perfectly, great picture and sound

I got this for my wife a good long while ago, but I never write a review unless the product is actually put into use and even though she liked it, she didn't have a use for it - until now. She has signed up for an online class and needs a camera/mic setup. She attached it to her monitor and got it going in really no time. We started a Zoom call to try it and it works perfectly. The picture was very clear. It was natural light and everything looked good. The sound was very clear. There were no issues with her computer or browser. It took a while to get it going, but it's going and it works very well.

NOT 4K

This is definitely not 4K i have the same quality as my 1080p HD webcam from like 2018. Returning

Received Open Box & Autofocus Not Working Properly

I am disappointed with this purchase. The product I received was an open box, and the original packaging was missing. This was unexpected since I ordered a new item.

Secondly, the webcam quality does not meet the expectations mentioned in the description. The product claims that the auto focus enhances clarity, but in reality, when the auto focus activates, the image becomes slightly blurry and the clarity actually reduces instead of improving.

Due to these issues especially the packaging concern and poor autofocus performance. I will be returning the product.

I hope the seller improves quality control and ensures proper packaging for future customers.

Pretty good

I think 4.5 stars is more accurate, but it won't let me do anything other than a full star rating, so 4 it is

Pros:

- Overall, camera is pretty nice. Yall can see in the video how much of an improvement the camera is over my existing laptop camera (I had no idea it was so bad until now)

- It does go up to 4k as promised. I was wary since it's relatively cheap, but 2160p is available if you change the camera settings (it tells you how to do this in the quick start guide)

- The auto focus works well; I don't notice any issues so far

Criticisms:

- The USB cannot be removed or changed as far as I can tell. If the USB breaks, I don't think I will be able to use the camera

- The privacy cover is just alright. There is a bit of sticky tape on the back to mount it to the camera. Otherwise it's just a piece of plastic that can easily fall off. The tape is VERY sticky however; as soon as I attached it, it didn't budge. So make sure you attach it in the right spot

Good webcam, but poor build quality

Good webcam, but poor build quality. I purchased it in April 2025 and now, 8 months later, the webcam clip broke just from normal everyday usage. For a $60 product, I would’ve expected it to last much longer.

This is not a 4K camera and it is not 4K or UHD capable, it is only 1080P.

I tested this cool camera as soon as I got it and realized that it's incredibly versatile.

Not as Advertised

It’s not showing as 4k on Windows 11. It offers 30 fps across all resolutions and 1440p max resolution. The USB plug is even 2.0 color (white), vs. 3.0 (medium blue). Is it good enough? Sure. Is it what’s advertised? No.

Auto Focus is absolutely horrifying, no way to shut it off.

This webcam is the worst thing I think I have spent money on in the last 12 months. I have a 10$ camera from 2007, that give a pretty clear, but slightly grainy image.

This this is 4k right? should be a banger, best camera ever.

Had to turn my camera off mid meeting because it would focus for 1 second, and then spend 10 minutes trying to focus, never giving better than 240P resolution.

1000% Do not recomend. this thing is absolute garbage.

Impressive

This is a great camera for the price. I've been really impressed with it. It's worth the price and more. I also have a Insta360 (triple the price) and this one is nearly as good.

Night vs. Day Difference

Can see a huge difference immediately from the 4k webcam vs my stock laptop (chromebook) camera. At first it wasn't working with my multiport usb adapter, since my chromebook only has one usb connection, but after trying all the ports, one of them finally worked. I have a lot of meetings on Google Meet and will occasionally record my sessions. This will be a game changer for my recordings going forth.

Works great

Needed a camera and this is a perfect one! Does what it needs to do, great quality.

A good small camera so long as you don’t need a lot of features

This is a good, small webcam with basic/simple functionality. The sound quality and picture quality are quite good, but if you require more than that from your webcam this might not be the best option, but it is a nice plug-n-play camera to have on hand.

The main downside about this webcam is that it is not compatible with Windows Hello. There also isn’t a great shutter feature to ensure your webcam is only recording when you want it to be! Personally I am a privacy/cyber security nut so this webcam falls a bit short for me when it comes to every day use.

That said, it’s compact size makes it my goto camera when I am traveling, and also as an office PC backup webcam.

All-in-all it is a good web camera for the price.

A really good webcam for some applications

This is an excellent camera for some applications and usages. The TLDR for this webcam is: as an upgrade to a built-in webcam on a laptop definitely gets this camera, the price to performance is worth it. If this camera is for video calls it is also excellent with 4k abilities with great microphones especially for a webcam. For Live podcasts and Live gaming stream broadcasts is could be better and the software is limited.

In the box is the webcam with a 4 foot USB 3 type A cable, a privacy cover, and an instruction manual. The instruction manual is three pages of general setup with the web link to down load the EMeet software. The camera was immediately recognized by the PC and the software installation is straight forward without issue.

For everyday users, the software is more than fine for online conferences and video calls. However, the software is a bit too simple and limited for serious Live Streams in my opinion. Those limitations can be overcome by using the camera settings when going to OBS or using a bigger alternative webcam software to control the camera. The primary market for this webcam is video conferencing calls, not podcasts or gaming so the software is designed that use in mind. It can be used for streams it just takes some extra steps to point it in that direction.

The sound quality for the dual microphones it actually quite good and very competitive for a webcam. The noise cancelling is pretty good from the software as well. The camera and software get the microphone setup right compared to the other webcams and laptops.

All-in-all this is a really good webcam especially for what it was designed for. The picture quality is quite good. The sound quality is top notch for a webcam. The software isn't complicated and is aimed at everyday users. Like I said earlier, as an upgrade for a laptop or even an old webcam, absolutely consider getting this. 4 stars.

Webcam - EMEET

Compared video/audio capture against the specs and everything seems to check out. I didn't install any companion software because this cam was listed as "plug&play" which it is. Although I do wonder if I'm missing any of the features just because of how the contrast adjusts in certain lighting; I cant tell if its just the sensor or the camera expecting correction from software.

I'd advise taking note of what a 66 degree field of view looks like before purchasing. With this FOV you're going to get a lot of background in view. It could even end up being more than half the capture depending on how far away your putting it. Some apps can digitally adjust the FOV which usually amounts to a software defined crop and zoom.

The mounting bracket has a pretty wide angle and is rubberized so it should mange to get a good bite on most screens. The privacy cover isn't attached to the cam, you're provided with an adhesive patch and the choice to apply or it not, and it is only for the video feed.

Great Budget Camera

This camera quality surprised me when I plugged it into my PC. It was so clear and even adjusted the focus relatively well. The camera is easily maneuverable and can tilt in any direction needed. The only downside I’ve noticed was that the microphone quality was pretty low and sounded like I was a robot. However everything else is great about it.

But some issues to connect through Video conference

This camera, has a good image, not bad, thinking that is is suppose 4k.

About the quality of the material is good, looks good, not bad at all.

My only issue that I found is that got in blank if you try to use it with zoom (video conference), if I try to use it with the option "HD", in the settings, the camera goes in blank (black screen), I need to remove that option (unselect) and the image back again.

I don't know if it was just me, I'm using Mac, but I have other cameras (Full HD and 4k) with no issues at all.
